Hector and his crew have been taking care of trees at my Auburn and Carmichael properties for several years. Recently I needed to have trees removed and trimmed at the Carmichael property to prevent cancellation of my insurance coverage. Hector immediately assessed what needed to be done and scheduled his crew to complete the work on the first clear day during a very stormy period. As always they did a perfect job in every way.

Can't say enough good things about H.G. Tree Service. We had them cut down two huge cedar trees in our back yard and take out a huge bunch of bushes in our front yard. They not only arrived when they said they would, they cut everything exactly as we requested, and they ground up the stumps and left everything spotless. We highly recommend them. Jose and Javier do excellent work.

Hector and his team were both punctual from estimate to showing up to the job. The team of 5 that came out to cut down and trim the trees was lead by Arturo who confirmed the services that I requested. They went above and beyond to ensure to protect my pool and neighbors house. When they finished up, they cleaned up all debris as promised. We did have to reschedule to cut one of the trees because we found a bird nesting eggs in it. Which I agreed the right thing was to wait. What impressed me was the attention to detail and cleanliness. I will definitely hirer them again and refer to my friends and family.

Hector and his crew are outstanding professionals at a reasonable price. I called around for a few estimates to trim two large Camphor Laurel trees in my front and remove some small trees from my backyard. Hector had a smart approach to trimming the trees for their health and appearance while also trimming them for safety near my roof. The price he quoted was competitive and he and his crew did great work and were all so friendly. I will definitely hire them again in the future, and I recommend you hire them too!

We called Hector to come out and give us an estimate to prune or 40 plus year old Modesto Ash in College Glen. We got four estimates and HG tree services best fit our budget.

The crew showed up 15 minutes before the start time of 8:00 a.m. and at 8:05 the saw was going and they were working. They worked like a well-oiled machine. We are very happy with the work, the cleanup, and the work ethics they showed the entire time. Everyone wore their safety gear and all work was done, as Hector said it would be. I would not hesitate to recommend them and if we need other trees pruned, we will call them for sure. Thank you to the hard-working crew, you did a wonderful job!

Freddie was my main contact and the one actually up in the tree doing the work, which gave me a lot of confidence in the whole process. He provided excellent customer service, the pricing was very reasonable, and the team cleaned up so well my yard looked better than when they arrived. Freddie even went above and beyond by suggesting they cut the larger branches into firewood (since wood is so expensive) and stacked it neatly in the corner for me. Truly impressed with the care and effort put into the job—highly recommend!

I have had HG tree service cut my tree every year for the last six years. Every time they do an amazing job. This time, I am particularly happy because they also helped me cut fruit off my very full tree. I cut my finger and they were so kind in helping me with it. I've been searching for a reputable tree service since my last "go to" tree service is no longer around. I have mature Blue Oak trees in my backyard that desperately needed thinning and pruning away from my roof. He came over the next day, surveyed what I needed and he and his crew were able to start the following week. The price he quoted me was more than fair for all the work his crew of 5 men did for a full day's work. The job they did was fantastic. I’ve used HG Tree Service three times and will continue to use them. I’ve had them trim palm trees as well as some city protected trees on my property and am happy with their work every time. The team is punctual, friendly and professional. They do an excellent job cleaning up the job - including cleaning up my neighbors’ yards.

I hired H G Tree Service to prune my trees all the way down to where I can feel safe from tree limbs falling on my roof or anyone walking under them. .Also the crew
trimmed the tree in front of my house and it looks 100% better. The crew was on time, friendly, professional and was able to complete the work in one day including clean up.
I would highly recommend H G Tree Services and I plan on having them come back to cut down another tree on the other side of my house.

Hector and HG Tree service took care of us several years go when our trees went down during a big storm and one fell into the swimming pool. They outbid everyone else and did an amazing job taking down all 3 cypress trees. So of course I called again to prune my big Japanese maple and clean up a 20 foot Queen Ann. They are very professional, arrive on time, work efficiently to complete the work while leaving my yards free of debris. Definitely a 10/10 experience each time. Thanks HG Tree Service

This tree crew went above and beyond. Admittedly, I can be difficult to impress and I almost never leave reviews.

If you have tree that needs work or needs to be removed, this is your crew. I had two difficult trees removed. They climbed and sectioned the trees, it was very impressive rope work. Really good team work and they were actually nice to each other, laughing with good camaraderie and all while working for 9 solid hours. They took every single scrap with them and even used a leaf blower. I’m impressed 5 stars for sure.

We have hired Hector and his amazing team several times over the last year and a half. They are always professional, on time, and accomplish incredible work. They handle the most difficult situations with precision and ease. I love having these guys on my property and my three little boys love to watch. 10/10 recommended!!
