Manfred's expertise is invaluable. The crew was careful as they did larger tree work and did their best not to impact smaller trees nearby. They also did an amazing job with clean up.

AWESOME SERVICE and EXPERTISE!! Ellie from the office was so friendly and so efficient. I awoke in the morning to find a large tree branch had cracked and fallen, covering my entire front lawn. It left a wide gap in the tree’s coverage that I thought would be so noticeable. Mario arrived just an hour later to assess the damage and provided a quote MUCH lower than I could imagine. Within 2 hrs his crew showed up to remove the branch and prune the heavy weighted branches. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY with no obvious gap in the tree’s shape and coverage! The crew left the grounds spotless. Everyone involved was so professional and reassuring! Their goal is to save trees! Look no further than Fallen Leaf Tree Service. I will have them out every other year as recommended to keep my trees happy and healthy! Hats off to this exceptional company!

Manfred, the arborist was knowledgeable about the Photinia and Blue Oaks. He was consulted for treatment rather thn trimming. Steven was knowledgeable about applying the treatment, and even offered helpful comments about the neighbor's oak and pine tree affecting my property.

Every interaction with Fallen Leaf employees was excellent. Courteous and professional at every level. And, their work was outstanding. They removed a huge Sequoia tree along a fence with plants, a jacuzzi, power lines and an irrigation system. No damage to anything! Remarkable.

In the past, this company has at no charge help me get a cat out of a 50 foot tree so they have earned my continued patronage. And recently came to trim some of my trees in preparation for a paint job and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a lot of pointers on my other trees and plants and just did an amazing job, will continue to use them as long as I live in Sacramento area!!

To say that I was all around impressed with Fallen Leaf and every one of their employees I had the pleasure of meeting would be an understatement!! From start to finish they were prompt, professional, thorough and were equipped with everything needed to complete the job as promised. When I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate I left a voicemail and my call was returned the same day and was able to be scheduled within a couple days. After the estimate appointment I decided to accept and called to schedule my tree removal. To my delight they were able to schedule me for the next day. The crew came out first thing in the morning and got right to work and work they did! Straight through until the early afternoon when the job was completed. I had a large mulberry tree in my backyard. Falling Leaf Tree came out with a crew of four and a truck with a chopper. They gave me notice and arrived on time. Within 6 hours, they took down this 60 to 70 ft tree and cleaned up all the mess. Very professional and very skilled. I asked them to cut some firewood and load it into my truck which they did gladly. I was surprised that nothing got broken even though it was a windy day and they had to maneuver around my garden and fences. Then the very next day another person came out from the company and ground the stump. He also was very professional and within a few hours had the job done. A supervisor came out before the work was started and scoped out the job and answered any questions I had.
I had another tree company prune that tree last year for $2,000 and did not do nearly as much work as they did in the short amount of time too. Last year I had to get the guy to come back to do his job and it still was not done right.
I highly recommend Fallen leaf Tree company for any landscaping job for their professionalism, work ethic, problem solving, arriving on time and completing the job in an outstanding manner.

Our Beautiful Magnolia Tree!
Big shout out to The Davey Tree Expert Company (TDEC) - they have really helped us care for our beautiful magnolia tree. About three or four years ago it wasn't in good shape. It was thinning and we were concerned it might have to be removed.
Enter TDEC and their fantastic fertilization program. Now, after treatment every year since 2021, the tree is the picture of health. It is full and thriving! Thanks, TDEC!
And thanks Keith for carefully applying the fertilizer and watching out for the drip irrigation system beneath the tree.

The tree trimmers did a great job. They cut out broken branches and thinned out the heavy ones. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. My trees look so much better and I feel so confident and comfortable that I don’t have to worry about high winds or heavy rains. Great job. I wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank you for the outstanding service that we received from everyone at Davey Tree. Starting with Tony, followed up by Tim and lastly, for the thorough work performed by Kate and Matt. We could not be happier with the whole experience and are looking forward to seeing our trees leaf out very soon.
Tim arrived with Kate and Matt and we walked and discussed the work to be done tree by tree.
Kate and Matt were knowledgeable, and worked efficiently together. They asked questions on preferences and made recommendations where needed on the different varietals of our trees. They were respectful of our plants and property and left out back and front yards spotless after clean up. We felt that the price was more than fair (10 trees) and the quantity of the work exceeded our hopes. All it takes is one incorrect pruning to do damage to trees.
Many thanks again to everyone! Our trees are an investment and having a licensed arborist on site to do coordinate the pruning is paramount to us. We look forward to a continued relationship in the future! Thank you Davey Tree!!

I have a massive carob tree on my property that was in need of some TLC. I was putting it off for fear of someone coming in and butchering it. After most people I spoke with highly recommended the Davey Tree Company, I had them come out to take a look and talk to me about the job. The arborist, Terry Monahan, was fantastic and I felt absolutely confident moving forward with them. Every interaction was a positive one. They showed up with a full crew and two big trucks (including a boom lift). The foreman was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patiently answered all my questions. They left my yard in better condition than when they arrived. As for how the tree turned out? WOW! I'm thrilled. I'll let the photos speak for themselves...

Quick turnaround from request to scheduled tree trimming. Crew was punctual, efficient, and professional. Price was very competitive for work 50’ up in a redwood tree. I really appreciated how clean they left the years when they completed the job.

Second time using Davey within 6 months (unfortunately due to tree loss). 1st event was an oak that just decided to "pass over to the other side"; this one was a 55 year old cedar that blew over due to high winds and saturated ground on Christmas eve/morning. I did get other quotes, but given my positive experience with Davey on the oak, I was way more comfortable with them doing the work, and the cost was competitive particularly with the piece of mind that came with it. Trust in contractors is a big deal - and Davey had earned my trust with the first tree.

The crew was early on Monday morning, and lead by Pasqual again - awesome guy and crew leader! I pointed out a few things for them to be cautious of - a semi-hidden water valve and sprinkler head, a few special plants, and the grave marker of a beloved cat. The crew was very efficient and extremely respectful of property. I'll use Davey in future, and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Davey was so efficient and super knowledgeable about our sycamore tree. Terry came out within 2 days , gave us some background on our tree, and gave us a quote. The amazing team came out a day later. Super curtious and professional. They had explained what they are doing to ensure our tree is healthy and prevent branches falling during the windy days. All the branches that were trimmed were cleaned up and hauled off. The tree looks great. Highly recommend!
