Alas, I don't have before and after pics of my two camphor trees that the team at ABTS took care of for me, this morning. These folks were stellar--from the booking of the estimate to the communications regarding the appointment and then the team of arborists themselves. Brodeur Landscapes reccomended them to me and they, as always, steered us well. Let's be clear: tree work is specialized, skilled labor that has a degree of danger. There are chainsaws on sticks, helmets, all sorts of nonsense. The kind of service offered costs money. But that money is nothing compared to 1. Not paying for back surgery for my partner who could "just get up there and take care of it..." and 2. The peace of mind knowning one of the upper limbs wasn't going to fall down on one of the many roving kindergarteners in my neighborhood (we're also adjacent to a school.) Hiring ABTS is not going to be cheap, but the estimates are free and as the arborist today reminded me, sometimes they come out and are able to tell you they don't need to do anything--ergo, saving YOU money. The multi-person team who all arrived promptly, who called first, who follow-up emailed and worked within the estimate is totally worth it.

Had a VERY good experience with them. Started with an in-person visit from an arborist to evaluate the six trees that needed work (5 needed a trim, 1 needed removal). It was a thoughtful review followed by an itemized estimate. Had a bit of trouble with nailing down a day to do the work, but when they arrived, the team was knowledgeable, professional, personable and kept safety as a priority as they went up our mature fan palm tree. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards so the finished look was clean and didn’t require me to spend a day in the yard. Highly recommended.

We had a huge Oak tree limb fall on our house on a Saturday night. Our neighbor, who has used A Better Tree Service many times for all his oak trees, called Jeff and told him about the situation. Jeff came out at 10pm to assess the situation and then had his crew out the next morning to start the cleanup. His crew was very professional and did a great job. I’m very happy with the whole experience with them and would highly recommend them.

They scheduled a crew to come out with a mulching truck and chain saws in a residential neighborhood at 8AM Sunday morning. This was not an emergency cleanup or anything like that. Just inconsiderate, rude, thoughtless.

Promptly showed up for a quote. Easy to schedule and showed up on time. They were booked a couple months out which makes sense, trimming looks good. They left the yard cleaner than they found it which is a huge plus.

I loved the service. Hardins tree service showed up on short notice , happily, and completed the job faster then I expected. I was so worried that the storm would knock branches on my house, but Tom came out and trimmed my trees exactly to my liking. I would recommend Hardins Tree Service to all of my friends. Thank you guys for the excellent service.

Fantastic! It was amazing to watch Tom and the crew. These are true professionals who know what they are doing. We had some extremely tall (90ft.?) trees and were a bit apprehensive on how they were going to take them down. Well there was NO need for concern. They showed up in the morning and started right in like a well oiled machine. Trees came down, stumps were ground, debris was hauled away, the clean up left our yard better than when they arrived. We kept the wood chips and one tree for firewood that they cut up in manageable pieces for us. MOST definitely we will have them back and will refer to anyone that needs tree work.Great job! Tom Hardin showed up on time to evaluate our needs and immediately noted the problems, set a date to do the work at an extremely reasonable bid, showed up with a highly professional crew and did an amazing job. AND, they cleaned up beautifully!!!! Would highly recommend them!!

I am so pleased with the job that Hardin's Tree Service did. They removed my huge tree in my back yard that was ready to fall onto my house. They left my yard free of any tree debris. My yard looked better than it did before the tree came out. They arrived on time and took it out quicker than the estimated time they had given me. I would use them again and will definitely refer them to all my friends and family. They were AWESOME.

Two months ago, we had Hardin's Tree Service come out for a consult for a few trees on our property. Tom Hardin is a licensed arborist and it was obvious from the beginning that he is very knowledgeable. Tom listened to our concerns and provided suggestions in regard to caring for the trees in question. We opted to have two trees removed and Tom's team arrived on time and left no debris behind. They did a great job in carefully grinding the stumps and did not hit any sprinkler lines. I highly recommend Hardin's Tree Service. It's nice to know that there is an experienced, licensed, and affordable tree service available in the Sacramento area.

If you would like to disrupt your neighborhood for more than two hours on a Sunday morning and have workers respond belligerently to questions from your neighbors, then this is the company for you.
They told me “We have work to do and we work on Sunday.” Well, guess what? No one in the office works on Sunday. They appear completely unconcerned with how their policies and procedures affect others. Terrible.

Tom provided a prompt and reasonable estimate for extensive tree trimming on our property. Today Tom and his crew completed the work. They were prompt, highly professional, efficient, and extremely customer focused. Tom checked with us numerous times to make sure his team was doing what we wanted. The team was meticulous in removing debris including disposing of a large amount of fruit that fell on the ground after a plum tree was trimmed. Our objective was to gain more sunshine for the backyard and a side-yard garden. We could not have been more pleased with the results. If I could, I would give Tom and his team 6 stars. Highly recommended without reservation.

We are very happy with our tree trimming. Hardin and his team were timely, efficient, and the service was priced fairly. They even came back on quick notice when a branch issue came up - unrelated to the service they provided. They have many years of experience and are a company to be trusted.

Tom responded by email to my request for an estimate at 5:30am the next morning. He was on time to meet me for the estimate, answered all of my many questions and gave me a fair quote. I appreciated that he was honest about how much really needed to be trimmed on our tree and didn't try to upsell us. His crew arrived early, were courteous, thorough and were completed with the job within two hours. Not only did they clean up my yard, but they made sure the neighbor's yards were clean as well.

Tom and his team did an amazing job trimming our trees. Tom is very knowledgeable about trees and advised us not to cut our trees back too far. The team was very promt and efficient and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They even blew the leaves off of our yard and swept everything up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their trees trimmed.

Raul and his team are THE ABSOLUTE BEST! This is our second time having them help us with tree removal. Raul and his team are responsive and prompt. The prices for services can’t be beat especially considering the level of service and care. This time we had one MASSIVE overgrown shrub (I’m talking as big as a house massive) in addition to large pine that died and a large elm that was right up against our patio/house.

They started at 9am and were done before noon! Stumps ground down and the yard was left cleaner than it was when they got here!

His wife was so considerate to make sure our patio didn’t get covered in sawdust and the entire team made sure to be mindful of our belongings that were strewn about the yard.
