Septic System reviews in San Bernardino, California

CPS displays wonderful communication skills. They are prompt in service and professional Ally in their office remembers my name. Always a plus. Thank you
-
I spoke with Ally and she answered all my questions and concerns. Very good customer service and her team as well answered our questions and concerns. Overall we are happy for the service this company provided.

The driver was very polite. Due to traffic conditions the truck driver was unable to get to our scheduled appt. But, the company gave me a discount .
-
Alee is quick and prompt. Ruben, the driver is wonderful. He cleaned both solid and liquid waste tanks super-fast. He even checks to see if there are any blockage from the clean out to the solid waste tank.

Needed my septic tank pumped and they handled it smoothly from start to finish. Good communication, fair pricing, and no mess left behind. Solid company to work with.

Very professional, they responded immediately, very good work

Gabby was very helpful in scheduling and informing me about everything that was involved in my family’s septic tank draining and cleaning. We have used CPS Services for 4 years and we are always pleased with the results, quality of service, and CPS prices are absolutely fantastic! Thank you CPS & Gabby for providing excellent service for my family! I refer your business to all our neighbors and family!

I called at 8am and hoped I could get them out that day. By 8:35am the pumper was there and the service tech was fantastic. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
You guys saved me from a very messy and smelly situation. Thanks again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
This review will be modified once California Pumping & Sanitation, Inc. replies back by sending a truck out to pump the pit when it should have been done in the first place. I ordered service in June 2025, today, September 2025, my pit is overflowing outside. When I ordered service the charge was $590 and that was supposedly to cover ALL! When CPS arrived, they stated I only paid for one - the Main Tank and not the Pit. So I agreed (over the phone - please get EVERYTHING in writing) that I would pay an additional $175 this was supposedly a discount because they were already here at my property. The service tech that was here stated I did NOT need my Pit pumped. I believed him, after all, we put ALL our trust in the professionals and in companies that should be providing HONEST and Professional Services. Well, I was wrong as the tech left and the Pit was NOT pumped. NOW, CPS wants to charge me for BOTH.. They agreed to do ONLY the PIT for $200 which is still MORE than what I would have paid for. I think $590 should have covered BOTH in the first place. I was told after speaking with Daniel that there are NO service trucks for tomorrow 10/21/25 in my area and that I would need to check back daily. This is completely unprofessional when a job was NOT completed as originally asked. Will call to see if CPS does this right. If not, I will be taking additional actions.

Great job. Technician came in and got to work. Excellent work no hidden fees. Extremely happy with their Service. Definitely recommend.

The company is amazing! The staff is very knowledgeable. Gabby answered all my questions and helped me decide what service I needed. When I needed to make changes that was done easily. I knew when the workers would arrive and just what they would do. The workers also explained exactly what they were doing and what they found. I didn't have any questions after they left.

The customer service was great, they were very transparent with their pricing, and they quickly resolved my issue which involved locating and pumping a septic tank as well as hydro-jetting a clogged sewer line.
-
Alee very kindly informed us that our septic had been cleaned a year ago and that we were good for now. She could have easily taken advantage of the situation and scheduled an inspection which would have cost over $300. This company is very honest and we have been loyal customers for many years. We have been extremely happy in dealing with this company and hope to continue for many more years.

The guy that pumped our septic left oil spots all over the driveway.
However, when I brought this to Alee and Gabby’s attention they provided a super quick response to fix the issue. I can’t overemphasize how great their customer service is! -
Great customer service. On time, price quoted, very efficient service. Gabby was in constant communication from beginning to end. Highly recommend this company. Technician was professional as well.

On Christmas Day 2025 (Of All Days), our drainage was backing up from my septic tank. I called CPS and ALLI responded (on Christmas Day ??) They sent out a technician the next day. I forget the gentleman that came out at 6:00pm in the pouring rain and drained our tank, and got us up and going. Thank You Very Much. They are an obviously a dedicated and professional company.

They have fast service and do great work. Living in the mountains it’s hard get someone to come up without an appointment several days out. I got service in less than 24 hours every time I’ve used them. They are my go to for septic pumping.

California Pumping and Sanitation has been great to work with. Alee helped me out, she and her team provided vac truck services and other hazardous waste assistance for my projects. They were professional, helpful, and extremely reliable. Definitely recommend, they’re my go-to moving forward.

I’m leaving this review based on a very frustrating and drawn-out experience. My family has used this company for close to 30 years, which makes this situation especially disappointing.
I called on Sunday around noon to schedule a septic pumping as soon as possible. I was given an appointment for Monday between 12–4 PM and told I would receive a call before a driver was dispatched. I never received that call. Around 3 PM on Monday, I followed up and was told a driver would still be sent out and that the service would be $345.
A driver finally arrived after 5 PM. At that point, it was explained that the service involved two septic tanks and that an additional chamber / water (secondary) chamber was not included and would be an extra $200. While the driver was on site, Ali called sounding urgent to confirm the additional charge. I spoke with my father-in-law (this is his home), and he agreed to proceed.
That night, the driver accepted $400 as a partial payment toward the additional chamber and told us someone would return either later that night or early the next morning to finish pumping it. The next morning, my father-in-law did receive a call and was told someone would be coming by sometime that day.
No one ever showed up. There was no follow-up call, no voicemail, and no confirmation. We waited all day Tuesday assuming they were coming.
At this point, multiple septic access points were left open in the yard, including two septic tank access lids and the secondary chamber access, while we waited days for them to return and complete pumping. This made it impossible to properly close the system, level the soil, or restore the area.
As of Wednesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 2:20 PM, more than an 2 hours after my most recent call with the office, the additional chamber still has not been pumped. Despite repeated follow-up calls, no driver has arrived and no clear confirmation has been provided. Leaving the system open for this long has become a legitimate health and sanitation concern for the household, and my father-in-law is understandably worried.
When I called again today to ask if anyone was coming, I explained that both my father-in-law and I were upset, not to argue, but because we had partially paid and the work was still incomplete. During that call, I was repeatedly told “I don’t want to argue,” even though I was calmly explaining the situation and the inconvenience.
At one point, I was told no one could be dispatched because calls supposedly weren’t answered, which doesn’t make sense since my father-in-law did speak with them Tuesday morning and was told someone would come.
Eventually, after I asked if anything could be done for the inconvenience, Daniel acknowledged the situation and discussed adjusting the remaining balance. While I appreciated that, the work itself remained unfinished.
Given our long history with this company, this experience has been unnecessarily stressful and disappointing. Clear communication and follow-through would have made a huge difference -
California pumping & sanitation is by far the best company I’ve had a pleasure dealing with. Ali and Gaby are very pleasant and professional. I was kept up to date on the drivers ETA and work progress. The whole team effort was fast, professional and efficient in completing the job at hand. Highly recommend to everyone. This is gonna be my go to company from now on.

“I had a great experience with Eder. He came out to drain my septic tank and was extremely helpful from start to finish. He had a great attitude, great communication, and he took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He gave solid advice and made the whole process stress-free. Eder is the kind of worker every company needs — respectful, hardworking, and professional. I highly recommend requesting him on my next appointment. Thank you
