We own a 1957 Home in the East County and one of the first upgrades we did was getting proper ventilation in the Master and Guest bathrooms. They are whisper quiet and really help keep the moisture down when showering especially in the winter when the mirrors used to fog up and the walls would be literally dripping with condensation. A+ job

We had SD Bathroom Fan installed three fans for the bathrooms. All three bathrooms had different requirements and they provided the best solution each. Specifically the half bath downstairs required installation of ducting in the ceiling with exhaust ventilation hood on the exterior wall. The wife was worried about cutting drywall and exterior stucco for the installation and how it would look when done. Once the installation was complete, everything looked like it has been part of the house the whole time. They were even able to matching the exterior paint color since I did not have any around. All the bathrooms are now moisture free and no spray necessary to clear the air. Highly recommend talking to Robin and his crew.

San Diego Bath Fan replaced the original (1958) fans in our master and guest bathrooms. Our old fans recirculated the air after passing over a heating coil... which didn't do anything to eject the steam from the room. Even with the window open in our master bathroom we still had wet walls hours after showering.

SD Bath Fan installed a 190 cfm Panasonic in our guest bath and an "in-line" FanTech unit in the master with two exhaust inlets (one over a low-ceiling in the shower, the other over the toilet). The in-line fan is over 300 cfm and is secured to the framing up high in the attic to keeps noise in the bathroom to a minimum. Both fans are whisper quiet and look really nice. Each has a decora-style push-button timer switch to run the fan for up to an hour.

Robin and his crew were courteous and prompt. After patching & painting the ceiling, they cleaned up thoroughly. Our new fans do an excellent job of controlling the moisture in both bathrooms.

What a huge difference a really good bathroom fan can make! We had San Diego Bath Fan install four bathroom fans in our home. Three are located inside the showers and the other is in the bathroom ceiling. The ones in the showers have a light as well. No more mold. No more damp ceilings. No more peeling paint. Our home was built in 1919 with only windows for ventilation, so it was no easy task to cut through tile or match the ceiling texture. SD Bath Fan did an outstanding job. The scope of the work was explained in detail to me before they got started. Everything was returned to its original condition. The workers are very neat and tidy. They don't oversell. They also have the electrical experience to run power to a switch, or in the case of my daughter's bathroom, a timer. I would highly recommend this company for any of your bath fan needs. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I had a very disappointing experience with Shugarman's Bath. While the installation was done very quickly, in less than 1 day, it was rushed through and resulted in a poor experience. The pre-installation instructions said to have the shower curtain you'll be using available so they can put up the tension rode at the correct height and when the installer arrive, he and I had a specific conversation about the shower curtain where I confirmed that the one in the bathroom was the one I was going to be using for the new tub. The installers left several hours prior to when they told me they were going to be leaving so were not there when I got home and discovered that they had thrown away my shower curtain and left my front yard a mess, littered with shower curtain rings. I immediately alerted the company about the mistake and they said that my shower curtain had already been disposed of and they could not recover it and only offered me a $100 credit for replacing my shower curtain, liner, and rings, without any consideration given to the time and energy it would take me to replace them, nor the mess that the team had left behind. My bigger concern is what other mistakes they made while they were in a rush to leave my job early, more serious potential structural issues, which I guess I wont find out about until the new bath starts presenting outward issues. Even if there were no bigger mistakes made in the rush job, the poor handling of the issues I have already encountered means that I cannot recommend Shugarman's Bath to others looking for a bath remodel.

We recently had Shugarman’s Bath replace our old tub with a walk-in shower, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The project took two days—exactly as promised—and the results turned out even better than we expected.

Last week we had a tub to shower conversion done in our main bathroom.
Mom is 91 and we needed things placed where she would feel safe and secure. Billy our installer did a great job! He and his assistants ( Ricky & Bryan ) were very kind, courteous and respectful. Billy was very patient and helpful with the exact placement we needed for the handrails to work best for her. ( Ex..letting her step in and sit on her shower bench to get handrails right where she needed them. ) He explained to her patiently how to turn water handle for cold to hot, how to raise shower head on the slide bar and to easily remove handheld shower head. Also expressed the importance of not trying to use the handheld shower head for a handrail! Which she has repeated to me " handrail yes, showerhead no " :)
Billy was easy to talk to about any concerns we had and gave input to ease / or eliminate them. They also kept things covered and clean throughout the process. Job well done guys!!

We are thrilled with our new walk-in shower from Shugarman’s Bath! The installer from Shugarman’s Bath (Dillan) is such an amazing young man and a tireless craftsman who obviously takes his work and work ethic seriously. A couple of minor issues arose during the install, but Dillan immediately apprised us and made excellent (but not short-cut) recommendations to ameliorate them nicely. Dillan made sure we not only understood everything, but that we were happy along the whole way. We never felt rushed or pressured. Another thing we really appreciated: we only have one bathroom, so whenever we needed to use the toilet, Dillan had to stop whatever he was doing to accommodate our needs. That no doubt made his job much harder, but if he ever felt frustrated, he never ever showed it. He was an absolutely delightful professional. We admired not only his obvious skills, but his consideration of our needs and the importance of keeping our tiny space as neat and tidy as possible (for safety and for esthetic reasons), not only during the install, but also at the end of it, which our neighbors also appreciated. We can’t thank Dillan enough for being such an excellent worker and human being!

Shugarmans installed my guest shower a few years ago. It was time for some touch up so you guys sent over Dante to complete the work. Dante did an excellent job. His work was perfect! He respected my house upon entry (took of his shoes when he saw I didnt have mine on), cleaned up his job site, and finished almost to the minute of his estimate.

Shugarman's installation team of Chuy & Richard recently completed removal of my 45 year old bathtub and replaced it with a stunning walk-in shower with state of the art fixtures and plate glass sliding doors. Chuy & Richard were meticulous in their work. They took pains to carefully check their work and they made every effort to clean up after the work was completed. From my first contact with Norma, the sales representative to the final sign off with Chuy, I consider Shugarman's Bath to be the apex of bath remodeling contractors. Great experience in dealing with all aspect of Shugarman's Bath, including a very thorough point of sales presentation from Adam, along with the product installation from Jorge (along with assistance from Bryan and Brandt). Everything was delivered and completed as promised. The finished product was better then I expected. Jorge is conscientious in explaining all aspects of the installation, along with doing clean and professional work. Additionally, he identified some existing plumbing-related issues which allowed me to get those item repaired, instead of ignoring them and having them become issues later on.

We hired Shugarman's to replace our tub and shower with a new walk in shower. From the initial appointment to the finished product they were very easy to work with and responsive to any questions. Brandt did the demo work. He was personable and courteous. He cleaned up the area nicely when finished. Brandon, the installer, was friendly and informative. He helped with suggestions on the placement of some items.He also helped with information to repair our plumbing problem. Overall, we are very pleased with our new shower and very happy that we chose Shugarman's.

We decided to upgrade the original shower stall in my dad's 54-year-old home, and after researching companies with great BBB ratings and reading positive reviews, we went with Shugarman's.

The demo and installation team, Christian and Jaret, arrived early and did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were efficient with demolition, cleanup, and the actual installation. Christian kept us updated throughout the day, even notifying us when the old shower was removed to show the condition of the area. He pointed out that the home had “good bones,” as there was no mold or water damage—everything looked practically brand new. Christian and Jaret managed to complete the entire project in just one day.

There was a small hiccup during the process. Initially, the designer had suggested a pivot glass shower door, but I was concerned about the placement of the toilet. The designer assured us that it would work, but once the installation began, Christian and Jaret pointed out that the pivot door wouldn't fit because the toilet was too close. They recommended sliding doors instead which was how the original shower stall was. Thankfully, Shugarman’s was flexible and allowed the swap to the sliding doors. Since the shower stall was smaller than usual, the doors needed to be custom-made, and we’re currently waiting on that.

As a bonus, Christian went out of his way to buy us a shower curtain from Home Depot and Jaret installed the curtain rod we already had. We really appreciated this extra effort from both of them.

In the end, my dad now has a beautiful, modern shower that has completely transformed the space. We’re very happy with the result and the service from Shugarman’s.

we had a wonderful experience with Shugarman’s when redoing our en suite shower! the original shower was from the 70s and in desperate need of repair- from quote to demo to installation Shugarman’s was professional and easy to work with and made the whole experience smooth and easy. Would def recommend them to anyone looking to have their shower or bath redone! Our team (Nico, Adrian, and Tony) were the absolute best.

This past Monday we had our bathtub/shower converted into a stand-up shower. I cant express how impressed I am with the quality of work and how professional our installer ( Ivan) was and is. I received a fallow up call today on how the shower turned out and i actually requested Ivan to be our installer for further projects that we will have. The Shugarman's process went so well that after our first shower installation we signed up for a bathtub/shower installation in our other bathroom right away. It was fun to work with our salesman Erik. Our installation teams (Jaret and Christian, Shane and Michael) were friendly and courteous.
