Gary is my Go To Guy when I need anything done around the house or yard. If the work is outside of his scope he always has a good reference that I can use. I am having a bamboo problem fixed by one reference right now, plus more yard enhancements, had my roof and gutters done just a couple of months ago, and had my exterior trims & doors done just prior to that. I've used his services now for at least 8-10 years.

Let's talk a little about Gary Faith Cinstruction, all work is completed for what we hired GFC and we could not be more happy. They went above and beyond what we asked for and what our initial scope of work.
Gary and Chris are amazing to work with. My wife and I are stoked at the level of expertise of this company. Could not be more happy to have stumbled across GFC. After talking to 7 or 8 other contractors we had nearly given up hopes of finding someone who would execute our vision. Everyone else wanted to sell us cabinets that we didn't like.
So some things to keep in mind and the initial meeting, Gary let's you set the level of involvement, which was very important to us. We had the options of finishes or giving them the general direction of which how the finished product should look. My wife ended up wanting more higher end finishes which obviously cost more, well worth the end result because we would have to live with it. Gary and crew would interject with their expertise on all aspects and giving us price range on our wishes, this was invaluable because even though we had lots of ideas we were kept grounded. Watching too much HGTV might not be the best thing to do before starting a renovation. My suggestion to everyone is to hire Gary and Company, pick out a color palette you want to work with, talk directly with Gary every step of the way. He can direct you in all aspects even if he can't provide the service or products, he has a huge network of suppliers that will give you contractor pricing. They will be open to letting you know if things need to be up to code, trust them when they tell you something. The whole team is professional and they are experts at what they do.
They are booked fast but worth the wait.

We contacted Gary, who was referred to us by a neighbor, to assess for any damage surrounding a garage door we are installing. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry, set up a time, and arrived early. Gary proved to be an extremely professional and knowledgeable contractor. We definitely plan to use him.

We are picky, and have a LOT of questions. Through it all, Gary, Chris, & team were there to work with us, and make sure we were left happy.

And this includes AFTER the project was completed. As we slowly started getting settled into the new bathroom, any questions or minor tweaks we needed, Gary worked with his to make it happen.

We hired GFC to do a significant home addition, adding about 750sqft. We extended the living room, added master bedroom/bath, powder room, laundry room, & patio over garage. Gary and his crew are very knowledgeable and hardworking. The pricing was very reasonable and fair too. They also worked quickly! Showing up each day on time and Gary does an excellent job getting any subcontractors lined up so everything keeps moving. And getting inspections scheduled. They poured new foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, stucco, drywall, roofing in 3.5-4 months. I would definitely recommend choosing Gary Faith Construction for any home improvements needed. You can tell they take pride in their work.

Gary is a responsive, detail oriented GC, with an ability to tackle small and/or larger complex projects. Gary's bid was competitive with other GCs as well as his deep knowledge base. He was willing to help us envision and problem-solve a variety of intermeshed, long-term projects that included maneuvering around the needs of an aging and occupied income property. Last and best point: his warm, intelligent, and energetic nature is hard to match! He's a pleasure to work with.

We contacted Gary to do our master bath/master bedroom remodel after seeing our good friends fabulous kitchen remodel done by Gary. He took the designs and took what was a basic track home layout and turned into the bedroom and bathroom of our dreams. We still walk in and can’t believe it is in our home. We contacted Gary Faith Construction to do a kitchen and laundry room remodel along with replacing all molding and flooring on the first floor of our home. Gary came by to do an estimate and clearly knew how to get the job done. He quickly turned around a reasonable estimate for the work and a contract that clearly layed out what would and wouldn't be part of the project.

Gary and his team showed integrity throughout the project. They would own and fix any mistakes or miscommunications that occurred and problem solve to produce a solid result in a timely manner. When we ran into roadblocks or changes in the project plan, Gary was transparent about the cost and timeline and typically provided options and listened to ideas to come up with the best result. Costs related to changes were reasonable.

Gary's employees and sub contractors produced quality work and were all professional and courteous. They worked closely with Gary to keep him up to date on the project status allowing Gary to manage the schedule and move forward.

The results of all their work is an incredible kitchen and laundry room that improve the layout, flow and warmth of our home.

Gary Faith Construction did an amazing job with our first-floor remodel. They handled everything from demolition to finishing touches, including gutting the kitchen down to the studs, replacing all electrical and plumbing, filling in our sunken living room floor with concrete, tiling the entire first floor, and replacing our kitchen picture window. Their attention to detail was top-notch.

From start to finish, communication was clear, and they kept us in the loop throughout the entire project. The only minor hiccup was a delayed window, but they handled it professionally and kept us updated. The team was incredibly efficient and always cleaned up the construction site at the end of each day. They were also very responsive to our questions and concerns, making the entire process stress-free.

We just wrapped up a large home remodel with Gary and his team that includes a kitchen, bathrooms, and multiple other updates like paint and flooring. We are very happy with our experience with his team and so glad that we decided to go with Gary for this project. We would 100% use Gary again for future projects. Here are some highlights --
- Gary himself is extremely organized and responsive. He stayed on top of all kinds of dates and timelines and the whole thing was very efficiently managed. Thanks to this, our project finished ahead of schedule.
- Gary's crew was consistent and predictable, an all around great group of people. I was impressed with their workmanship, timeliness, cleanliness, friendliness...the list goes on.
- We trusted Gary and his team to work on our project while we traveled for 3 weeks. The Internet will tell you not to do this, but they did a great job while we were gone and we came home to amazing progress.
- Gary uses subcontractors that he has worked with for years and also do an amazing job. I was especially impressed with Randy/Ideal Cabinets, Laura/Rock Prefab, and Miguel Herrera who did the quartz fabrication. Amazing work and really easy because Gary managed all the timelines, material pickup, communication, etc.

Based on the different quotes we got, Gary's was right about the middle. I felt the cost was totally worth the experience and the outcome.

Finding a contractor can be a difficult and scary process; you hear horror stories about people taking your money, doing sloppy work, not being on time, etc. Gary and his team were an absolute dream and I would recommend him to anyone. I really couldn't be happier - he was consistently on time and always available to answer questions. He was beyond organized with his pricing, change orders, and even helped with some of the design by giving me some construction insight. He was helpful every step of the way; doing my renovation actually ended up being enjoyable - something I never thought I would be able to say. If you are looking for a skilled, well-priced, professional/nice contractor, Gary Faith is your guy.

We loved working with Gary Faith Construction! They updated our tandem garage parking space into an actual useable bedroom (raised flooring, ran electrical, poured concrete, installed doors/lights/windows, rerouted dryer vent, painted, etc). It was a great experience working with Gary and his contractors. He checks in frequently, responds quickly, and will add/update anything as needed. He made the construction process painless and it was completed earlier than expected!

We just completed our fourth, and largest project with Gary Faith Construction (GFC) and we are thrilled with the outcome! The project was big - a full home remodel and new construction of an Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) and a second two-car garage.
As we have come to expect from GFC, we were extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality, the detail and accuracy in the quote, and the expertise, experience and craftsmanship of the team. Gary demonstrated a deep understanding of our vision and provided valuable insights that greatly enhanced our original plans while helping us stay on budget. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. Communication during the project was seamless and well supported with pictures which really helps make everything clear. All of the trades (framing, concrete, electrical, tile, cabinetry, plumbing, wood flooring, stucco and more) were well coordinated and the results speak for themselves - a beautiful new enlarged, more functional home and a new garage and ADU!
As with our prior experiences with GFC, the project was completed on time and on budget. Gary and his team's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction make the remodel and new construction process as painless as possible while delivering an incredible result. We highly recommend GFC!

We started with a sewer line that needed to be replaced, which left us with a hole in the floor. We decided to tear two bathrooms down to studs (and while we were at it replace our 1950s hallway cabinets). Gary's team gave us a 6-week schedule that he beat, and he had workers here every day getting it done. He's a great communicator and is very knowledgeable about construction and building codes, so he kept things moving while keeping us in the loop the entire way. His teams' attention to detail and quality workmanship is very apparent in our finish product. I highly recommend Gary Faith Construction!

We had a wonderful experience with Gary and his team for a remodel of the front of our house and the primary bathroom. They were prompt, dealt with all our concerns, interfaced professionally with the city and our engineers and minimized the time delays caused by unforeseen conditions. Do not under any circumstances trust Nautilus General.

Nautilus was contracted for a courtyard remodel, roofing and patio remodel worth hundreds of thousands in San Diego and has proven to be incapable of delivering on time or on budget.

Thankfully, everything has been carefully documented on camera for the past few months for future litigation if needed. Save yourself the trouble and don't give them the opportunity to fail on their promises.
