Interwest Electric was recommended by a colleague for electrical work. Frankie quickly responded to my call to install a 40A L2 charging circuit in my garage. The estimate was reasonable, and the work was finished quickly and professionally.

We had Interwest Electric do a couple different projects for us, including installing a doorbell, replacing some old wiring, and installing ceiling fans. Every time someone has come out, they have been friendly and professional. The prices quoted have been fair, and the work has always exceeded expectations. Recently, when we had the ceiling fans installed, one of the fans we had purchased was defective. Frankie was kind enough to wait for me to run to Home Depot to get a replacement so he could install it that day. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and will continue to use them as often as we can.

We had an electrical issue that needed to get fixed prior to installing a new appliance. We had Interwest Electric come out and employee was prompt, quick, and fixed issue perfectly. Polite, knowledgeable employee. Would recommend!

Jalen came to my condo to install 3 light fixtures, a ceiling fan, and a bathroom vanity. He took his time and carefully installed each item, and did it in under 2 hours. He did a great job and I was impressed by his work. Best part was he was super friendly and nice! Very helpful and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend him and any electrical work I have in the future, he would be the first person I call! 5/5 stars.

The Interwest Electric team is amazing! They were prompt, profession and I had great communication throughout the entire process. The crew did an excellent job installing my new ceiling fans and new electric outlets throughout an older house I just bought. I was very impressed and highly recommend this company. Go with Interwest Electric-you won't be sorry.

I'm not sure how to review them, because they were so friendly, but not as knowledgeable as they may seem. We had an issue with our electric hot water heater not working. They resolved that, but also moved our solar system from 240v to 120v, there were two breakers previously. I asked him if the solar was working, he looked at our power meter and said it was going backwards, so we are making power. We lost a couple weeks of production because of it.

I also lowered my review by a star, because their estimate for a panel upgrade was $1k+ over our other estimates, and what we were told by our electrician friends.

I gave them a star for showing up on short notice, and resolving our hot water heater issue.

Update: I was called by the owner. He seemed a bit manic, going between a dismissive "whatever helps you sleep at night" regarding my rating and "I will fire the guy responsible" regarding his guy telling me something about a solar system that, he admitted, they know nothing about. I hope he doesn't fire his staff over this, because lack of training isn't their fault.

I added an image of the before and after for the solar breaker. There were two 40 amp breakers, and that was replaced by one 20 amp breaker. It seems like a very obvious thing to have changed, and noticing the big breaker missing was the reason I asked if the solar was working. I eventually used a voltage tester on the main solar line to learn it wasn't working, something they could have done easily at the time. He had one in his pocket.

Had the owner called to apologize and said he would talk to his guys so this won't happen again (regarding them asserting anything regarding solar systems), I probably would have changed my rating. He talked more about his rating, than he did improving his business to prevent this type of thing from happening.

I'm lowering my review to 1 star, because my wife an I were both creeped out having owner look me up and call me just to vent over an online review. There is a lack of social awareness. I don't know how them being a "small business for 35 years" matters to me. I was looking for an honest electrician, not a charity. Hopefully this will make sure they take their customer's complaints seriously in the future.
