We found Justin Coppola of Ocean Beach Arborists from his great reviews on Yelp and Next Door, and so glad we did. We contacted him for several projects, and were incredibly satisfied with his work. He has over 10 years of experience in arboriculture, and has been a licensed arborist for over 8 yrs. He was very responsive, and all communication was excellent. We had him remove a sprawling, scraggly cedar, which had been blocking our view and bothering us for over 15 years, ground the stump, took out another tree that wasn’t healthy, trimmed back our neighbor’s tree which was hanging way over our patio, and did a beautiful job trimming some magnolia trees in front.

Justin was incredibly knowledgeable, the trimmed trees looked great, he and his team worked extremely hard and diligently, didn’t damage anything in the yard, and cleaned up well afterward, hauling everything away. We would absolutely hire him again, and in fact we did just contact him for another consultation. Absolutely recommend!

OB Arborists provided fast, professional tree and stump removal for a reasonable cost. The team was skilled and hardworking, but at the same time concerned about doing a good job and not rushed. I was very happy about the project and intend to use them for any future tree work.

Called several tree trimmers on a Saturday morning, OB Arborists was only one to return my call. Justin fit me in same day for estimate, booked job to trim 4 trees the following week. Excellent trim job, trees look beautiful, just a bit smaller, more compact and neat. OB Arborists brought out the chipper to deal with the cuttings and cleaned up quite nicely. I would definitely call Justin again and recommend OB Arborists for your landscaping needs.

Ocean Beach Arborists did a great job trimming my jacarandas. Justin came out and reviewed the trees and asked about my specific concerns. He prepared a clear scope of work and fee proposal. His crew working under Brian arrived as scheduled. Before beginning work, Brian reviewed the plan for the removal of all major branches. He and his crew did a great job balancing and cleaning up my four jacaranda trees. I can’t wait for spring when they flower!

These guys were absolutely wonderful! They arrived on time to the minute, the gentlemen who did the tree trimming were all very polite and friendly, they worked quickly and removed a giant rubber tree plant that was about 40 feet tall. They got the job done in about an hour and a half and left everything clean and perfect! I highly highly recommend OB Arborists!

Justin at OB Arborists did a phenomenal job trimming and removing needles from our Black Pine so that it can be treated for spider mites.

He responded quickly to my initial inquiry, clearly explained what would need to be done and at what cost, then followed through with great communication throughout.

Justin recently came to our home to trim a very large podocarpus tree and an overgrown juniper tree. He did an excellent job, not only trimming the trees, but making them look so much better. Justin is very easy to work with and his prices are fair. I highly recommend Ocean Beach Arborists.

Justin and his team at OB Arborists did a terrific job working on a 60’ pine on mine and my neighbors fence line. The tree trimming team exceeded both mine & my neighbors expectations and the clean-up was terrific.
