Roof Express is an excellent customer responsive business. They were attentive to details, workmanship and highly communicative. Their pricing was reasonable and with added benefits. We would highly recommend them for a professional, timely, and complete roof installation and repair. They provided two copper skylights at a reasonable price. Habib provided personal excellent customer service throughout the project. We greatly appreciate the efficiency and quality of workmanship by their crew. We chose to upgrade the roofing material and they provided a three ply application in white.

Extremely professional roofer. I had 4 groups of other roofers come to give estimates and check the condition of the roof. As you know, many of those were late, unresponsive to calls, or unclear about the project details, but it's a completely different experience in Abu and Habibi's case!

Abu and Habibi's team, on their first visit for an estimate, followed up actively and explained in detail what would happen. They are exactly on-time for every visit. They not only redid our entire roof but also replaced the cracked tiles and added three layers, completing the whole project in just three days - exactly as planned they told me, and the quality was exceptionally high.

I had a great experience with Roof Express which speaks positively to their customer service in general. Another roofing company had loosened a skylight on my roof by mistake while fixing a different skylight. I could tell it was drafty in the room with the skylight, but I didn't have a ladder or the expertise to know if something serious was wrong or not. Habibi came and told me he was happy to help me figure it out, no matter whether it was a small or big issue. He went on my roof with me and figured out that there was a control on the skylight that could be tightened, and went up on his ladder from inside the house to tighten it, solving the issue. I offered to pay to make the visit worth his time, but he refused, saying that if I was happy, he was happy. I will definitely be reaching out to Roof Express in the future if I have roof related needs!

I had a wonderful experience with Roof Express. Naveed was very easy to communicate with, always patient, and answered all my questions clearly. I even changed the shingle brand three times, and he remained understanding and helped me choose the best option in the end.

The crew was hardworking and efficient — several workers worked from morning till evening, finishing both the roof and gutter replacement in just three days. I was especially impressed that the new downspouts were connected directly to the drainage system, preventing water stains on the shingles.

Habib and his crew were very thorough and very fast. Job site was left clean and they made sure to be courteous of my neighbors and not block their driveways. (my absolute pet peeve!!!) they took care of the permit processing, and all I had to do was notify the tenants and sit back and have my peace of mind that the job was done and at a fair price. We used Roof Express to replace the 25-year-old roof on our Belmont home. They removed the old roof and installed the new one (Certainteed Solaris Pro shingles) in a single day. The job was done beautifully, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. We had some rot in the wood on a section of the eaves, and they did a great job replacing the boards and matching the paint with the surrounding boards. They were courteous, professional, and very responsive to all our questions and preferences throughout.

The project manager, Nav, and the owner, Abu, were a pleasure to work with. Their quoted price was excellent compared with the four other companies we interviewed, and they offered higher-quality materials. Roof Express replaced the roof on our building with a torch down roof - a 3 layer Modified Bitumen Roofing system. Since our building is a 2 unit condominium - 2 owners - we had an independent roof inspection done first to determine replacement or repair. We had no leaks but there were areas that looked pretty worn and the roof age was estimated to be 25 to 35 years old so we chose replacement. Got multiple estimates and went with Roof Express due to 1. Roof assessor (Habibi) was very credible as an active project manager with other projects going in SF (not just a sales guy) and easy to work with 2. Price 3. Reviews and ratings 4. 10 year warranty on workmanship. Glad we did as the new roof appears to be very solid and durable & meticulously applied, the crew was courteous and hardworking and were very thorough on cleaning up our property and our neighbors and the roof did not leak at all with the December rains. During the project, Abu, the owner came by and inspected the work which I liked a lot. A slight bump was the scheduling, they told us the work would start in a month and a week later they emailed to say they would begin in 5 days so we scrambled a bit to make it work. The building does have several skylights that they removed and resealed. Overall, I think they did great job and earned my 5 star recommendation.

Had a great experience from start to finish with Habibi, our roof replacement project’s manager. Habibi was very communicative and transparent with the scope of the project, pricing, and timeline. The team showed up on time to start the project, and got our entire roof removed and replaced in the one day, they came the second day to confirm everything is in place and did some finishing touch ups. Habibi also saw through to make sure the city inspector did a final approval. Roof Express made my first home project easy and worry-free.
