JLQ did an incredible job with building and mounting a custom HVAC return register with acacia panels as well as drywall repair and repainting. It's incredibly difficult to find anyone willing and able to do this quality of work in Palo Alto.

Jose responded promptly, scheduled the work expediently and communicated clearly. The job was completed efficiently and competently. Very pleased with the work. It was a relatively small job but needed a contractor rather than a handyman.

We lost power on the upstairs floor of our house. We called JLO construction among other electricians in the SF area and Jose was the first to respond. He went out to our house almost immediately, and needed to troubleshoot extensively but found the issue and repairs were completed within 24 hours. Highly recommend!

Jose replaced my back door which was leaking water into the house anytime it rained and he installed a roof gutter that siphoned away water splashing. JLQ is very attentive to detail and getting it right, very friendly to work with. They also came back to fix minor painting.. Lots of rain this year and bottom line is, no leaks now.

Jose did a great job at my house for installing front door and vanity. He arrived on time. Very easy to communicate. He showed his expertise in carpentry. I recommend to work with him.

Jose and his crew were great! The mudding/paint project they did for me was top notch - clean, safe and the results looked great. If that wasn't enough, Jose's timeliness and responsiveness was what had me sold. I called him for a small project on Sunday, and he showed up the same day to assess the project. The same night he sent me a quote for the work, and he started Monday morning. JLQ is my new preferred general contractor going forward!

Jose and his team did a amazing job to help us remodel the fireplace to become a beautiful TV wall. Jose responded promptly to our request on Thumbtack, met with us right on the second day, and discussed many details to let us know how they plan to proceed with the renovation. The team completed the work very efficiently and took care of all the details.
Sometimes Jose may be too busy to reply in text messages, so making a phone call is the best way to communicate with Jose. Overall we really like the new TV wall and would recommend Jose to everyone!

Jose came out right after a bad storm caused water damage inside. His estimate was reasonable and fair. Jose and his team do an excellent job. They are honest and trustworthy. Jose was willing to do whatever was needed to save our crown molding. THANK YOU AGAIN JOSE!!! Their work was excellent and everything looks GREAT. The schedule an appointment for an estimate and didn't show up and didn't pick up my call at the time of the appointment. He texted me that he was in Oakland and 1 hour away as if to suggest that I should wait for him. We rescheduled for the next day and he did the same thing and did not show up , did not call but this time did not respond . I don't know how this company has good reviews I think they probably pay for it. If this is how they handle intake imagine how they would take shortcuts working on your house

I worked with Jose and team to redo my small patio space. His team did an amazing job. His team worked quickly and efficiently. Communication was great and I'm extremely happy with the final result. I would definitely work with Jose again. Before and after photos attached.

Jose and his crew did an excellent Job of picking up where I had left off with another contractor. One I had to let go of for not doing such a great job on a different project. They did an excellent Job with custom window install. He communicated really well and was easy to work with. The job I had for him was not an easy one the windows had not been perfectly measured and each one was a custom fit.They were all custom hand made wood windows. I would use them again for a big job in a heartbeat. He pays attention to detail and there are no surprises. He let me know when there might be a chance that something could arise that could cost more. My house has stucco on the exterior and the stucco guys he works with did a really good job as well. It’s a very old house and you can only differentiate
new from old really close up. I’m very happy with the quality of the work and To finally get this project done. 13 windows! They did a good job with clean up too. The crew was respectful in the house and outside.

This is the neighborhood sheet metal shop. Great people who always greet you with a great smile🙂.. They're always ready to take on whatever project i throw at them. They've been here quite a while and they know their stuff. They also service HVAC systems along with air handlers and A/C units. Dallas gets the job done. I've been going to these guys since i moved to the sunset three years ago and they never fail to disappoint. A great asset to the neighborhood!! Keep up the good work guys we appreciate it...
