A2Z just completed our kitchen remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Communication with our team, led by Dror, was excellent throughout the project. They were super-responsive, often answering our texts or emails within minutes, and were completely transparent about plans and schedules. It was clearly important to them to earn our trust and confidence, which they did from day 1. Eduardo, who was working at our house nearly every day, was excellent from both a technical and artistic perspective, worked extremely hard, and was always friendly and accommodating. He offered a number of design and construction suggestions that invariably improved on our design concepts. The tile backsplash was our design and fairly complex to install; Eduardo did a beautiful job (see photo). When our butcherblock countertop fabricator/installer, a contractor not associated with A2Z, made errors that delayed the project by nearly 2 weeks, our A2Z team did everything possible to make up the lost time and finish our kitchen by the end date they had promised. There were never any surprises or hidden costs; in fact, when challenges popped up, they came up with and carried out elegant solutions, at no extra cost to us. Our kitchen is gorgeous, and we will happily hire A2Z again for any future remodeling in our home.

We remodelled our bathroom recently and our experience with Dror and the A2z team has been nothing but fantastic. Right from the start Dror was upfront, transparent and extremely thoughtful about what our needs were and what would make most sense. He helped us think through a variety of options even if it meant the scope of work would be less. His team - Chuy, Jose and others know their work and take pride in delivering great customer satisfaction. And the results speak for themselves. We are very happy with their work and glad we chose A2Z remodelling. We have found a great partner in them for future remodelling projects.

My husband and I have been involved in several construction projects, both commercial and residential. Our experience with A to Z has exceeded every expectation. Our project manager, Meir Barr, was super responsive, friendly, professional, and has a deep well of expertise. He even ran interference with our HOA and neighbors, which was above and beyond. We did a substantial remodel of our condo. It was done quickly, professionally, and to the highest standards. They worked within our budget and made excellent suggestions to reach our design and functionality requests. They eliminated every frustration with how the condo worked and went consistently over and above. I strongly recommend using them.

t is not often that I take the time to write reviews but with our outstanding experience with our recent project with A2Z Remodeling, it was called for. Dror Postiner, our project manager, was extremely attentive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the entire project. We stayed connected through text, phone and in person communication. It was reassuring that we could get a hold of him and he would respond without delay.

He was able to transfer our “concept” for an update to our family room into exactly what we had in mind. This included removing the existing fireplace façade, wood burning stove and worn floor and replacing with a gas fireplace insert, modern fireplace surround and new flooring. in addition, we had our outdated kitchen countertop and backsplash replaced making a transformational difference in the appearance of the room. Dror personally guided us through the process of selecting porcelain slabs for the countertop and fireplace surround as well as tile for the backsplash. We obtained high quality material within our budget.

The team professionally and efficiently completed the project without creating undue disruptions that allowed us to stay in our home while the work was underway. The job site was kept clean and made safe at the end of everyday which was very important to us as we have an 18-month grandson that likes to explore! The crew let us know when they would be coming and the days they would not be. They took great care to not damage our kitchen cabinets, appliances and floor that would not be replaced. It was like they treated our home as if it was theirs.

The job was completed in less that 4 weeks (about 17 days on site) which was within the estimate that Dror provided. He provided a detailed scope of work describing what A2Z was responsible for and what we needed to account for, e.g., hard surfaces, finish paint, family room flooring, kitchen sink and faucet. The agreement included the overall cost broken down by progress payments. There were no hidden cost surprises with the original scope of work.

Overall, we highly recommend A2Z Remodeling. From planning to implementation and completion we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work, cost and most importantly the finished product. It has increased the appearance and functionality of the interior design enormously.

We chose A2Z to remodel our laundry room, bathroom, kitchen, as well as replace old galvanized water pipes, upgrade electrical, and a few other minor improvements to our house starting in March 2022. The entire team was great to work with, same crew every day, always professional and pleasant to talk with. Amazingly, the project was completed on time, and the only change orders for the budget were the result of requests by my wife and I. Had a couple common quibbles, i.e., there were some nails around perimeter of house, pocket door was a little askew, but Dor and his team promptly addressed everything and made certain that my wife and I were happy and fully satisfied with all aspects of the project. Definitely recommend these guys for any work you may have on your house.

Dror and his crew from A2Z made my home dreams come true! We had a pretty big project renovating both bathrooms, kitchen, all new flooring, adding a bedroom, and demoing a fireplace. We are first time owners and this was our first remodel. Dror was really knowledgeable about all the codes, timelines, what needs to be done, and so much more, which made us way less nervous about the remodel. Him and his crew were very professional, communicative, and worked really hard to get everything done on time and within our budget. I’m recommending A2Z to anyone I know that’s thinking about renovations!

We worked with A2Z Remodeling (Dror, Eduardo, and crew) on a kitchen remodel and couldn't be happier with the results. We used to have a small, dark, closed off kitchen. The team removed two load bearing walls, added beams, repaired walls, painted the walls with lime wash paint, moved a laundry room, installed new cabinetry and countertops, and refinished the floors. Eduardo was the day-to-day lead of the crew, and he was super detail oriented (and extremely enjoyable to work with). We didn't have any unexpected change orders and the project was more or less on time. We're extremely happy with the finished project and would highly recommend A2Z to friends and family in the future!

We recently purchased a new home in Berkeley and wanted to do some remodeling before moving in. After two not-so-great remodel experiences in the past, we were a bit nervous. However, working with A2Z was an absolute dream. Dror Postiner was our project manager and he was just amazing to work with. He was extremely mindful of the timelines and went above and beyond to get us everything we wanted in the home. His entire crew was very reliable and very nice to work with.

We did a kitchen remodel and multiple smaller projects around the house. Some of the design elements were a bit ticky but Dror creatively navigated them and had some great suggestions. We were quite satisfied with the quality of the work and materials. We did have to make some changes and thankfully they were able to accommodate them in a reasonable fashion. So we did not have to change our move-in date.

Most importantly, Dror was always available for any questions/concerns/suggestions. Super transparent, professional and responsive. Something pretty hard to find in this industry.

I cannot recommend Dror and his team enough. We had a stellar experience with them. And would be our go-to if need any more services in the future.

Thank you Omar, Yves and Dror for their awesome teamwork, our project was able to be completed within 3 months. Our garage conversion project is pretty intensive, including new roof framing, new shear wall, bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. We had previously worked with a few general contractors and none of them were like A2Z who will always be there working on our project. In my past projects, I was so tired of those contractors who show up for a day and then disappear for another week. Thank god, Omar, Julio and Egar will always be at the jobsite first thing in the morning.

In addition, I really want to say thank you to Omar, our foreman - he has great workmanship and pays a lot of attention to details. Our house is 70+ years old, there were a lot of “surprises” behind the sheetrock. He will always ensure that the final product is visually appealing. He keeps the jobsite clean, and he will make sure his work meets our expectations. Omar is very humble and very dedicated to his job, we are very lucky to have Omar and his team working on our project.

A2Z is also very knowledgeable about all the local codes, timelines, and what needs to be done. The team is very professional, communicative and easy to work with. I’ll definitely recommend A2Z to anyone I know who’s planning a renovation!

A2Z Remodeling did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. We interviewed many potential contractors, and Dror was by far the best project manager at listening to our ideas, answering our questions, and presenting a clear and thorough bid.

We replaced all appliances, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures; and we upgraded our electrical sub-panel. Dror estimated a 6-7 week project, and that is exactly how long it took. Our project team was led by Eduardo, and they were a pleasure to have in our home, 6 days a week, 8-9 hours a day. They never missed a work day, they kept the work area very clean, and they consulted us on every detail.

We are sticklers for the details, and the workmanship is perfect. Every cabinet is level, every door is aligned, every tile and grout line is even. Our kitchen is not expansive in size, and Dror ensured that our cabinet choices maximized every centimeter of storage space.

We will definitely work with A2Z again, and we are already dreaming about how we could renovate a bathroom or two.

We had a great experience working with Meir as our project manager on a bedroom and bathroom remodel. We’ve done many other remodels but Meir and his crew were among the best with great attention to detail and diligence. But most importantly Meir really worked hard to make sure we were kept aware of all the little issues that inevitably pop up and he always had a solution for us.

When a couple of things didn’t work out as planned he immediately made sure they were made right and he didn’t nickel and dime us for change orders. Every concern was immediately addressed and Meir was always available to talk and present a solution.

He was also very patient with us as we changed our mind on things and reduced the project scope.

The new bath and bed look great and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

I would definitely hire A2Z again and that’s not something I can say about other contractors I’ve worked with.

We hired A2Z Remodeling for an expansion to our existing detached ADU with new foundation, framing, roofing, and interior finishes. Yves and Dror were great to work with and had guided us through the entire process. The final outcome exceeded our expectations, and it looks even better than we had envisioned!

A2Z had a dedicated, hard-working crew on-site every day, fully committed to delivering to meet our expectations. We did had some hiccups getting materials and appliances delivered on time, but they worked around those delays and still finished the project on time. I'd highly recommend A2Z and will be using them again for any future projects.

We contracted with A2Z Remodeling to complete the unfinished first floor of our house. We added 800 sqft of living spaces: 1 primary bedroom with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom, a half bath, a large family room, and a brand new large staircase connecting the 2 floors. We also had to relocate and upgrade the electrical panel, do a foundation earthquake retrofit, add skylights to our existing bathroom, finish our 400 sqft garage, remove a load-bearing wall, and update the entire HVAC system throughout the 2 floors.

It was important for us to find a contractor who had many years of experience and worked on similar projects. We didn't want a company that would be figuring things out along the way. We interviewed about 6 different contractors and architects. A2Z stood out from the get-go. Dor was really responsive and punctual. He walked us through other previous projects they completed and, within a few days, he provided a comprehensive and itemized quote. After a few back and forth, we signed.

We then started to work with their architect and their structural engineer to finalize the plans. It took a few months before everything got approved due to the city of SF but Dor always kept us updated throughout the process.

Dror took over the project at the start of the build phase. We were able to live in our house throughout the entire project which was a huge plus for us. The crew showed up every single day, always on time, and they always showed a ton of respect and care. They always asked and gave appropriate heads-up time before shutting down the power or the water. And they always made sure to keep the job site secure and safe. It is was more than appreciated as our daughter turned 3 year old during the project.

Omar was the foreman on the job. He has been so amazing throughout the entire project. He was kind, professional and very talented. You can really see that he and the rest of the crew care a lot about making sure the client is always satisfied.

It was our first time going through such a big project and there were a ton of decisions that we had to make. Dror and Omar always took the time to explain/show our options and helped us make the best decision. They never tried to rush us through the process.

AMAZING WORK! The A2Z Remodeling team did an amazing job with our 1926 home. We had work done on a bedroom and a bathroom. Both rooms were taken down to the studs, the electrical updated, etc. In the bedroom it's great now to have plenty of light and outlets! The bathroom though is Wow! We kept the cast iron tub, moved the window, updated all the tile, added lots of lighting and more. Dror was the project manager and very engaged. Eddie was on-site most days. Both paid great attention to detail and wanted to make sure we were happy. They asked lots of questions, gave advice, and worked with us to create a customized and beautiful bathroom. Thank you!

A2Z remodeled the downstairs living room, kitchen, bathroom, and family room of our house in Rockridge. The result is beautiful and they were professional the whole way through. Dror was our main point of contact and helped us to think through build choices, manage permits, and has been responsive even now that the build is done with touch ups and follow ups. Jose and Eduardo were our main on site folks and were very kind and respectful during the build. My son especially became buddies with Jose which was cute.

All in we were thrilled with the job and have hired A2Z again because of how great they were. The transformation of the space was exactly what we wanted. They weren’t the cheapest but they were pro and we are happy with the results.

They converted our garage into a beautiful ADU. Given how stressful renovation projects can be, we appreciated how straightforward they were about timelines, costs, and tradeoffs. If things came up that were unintended, they communicated quickly and never made changes unless we explicitly signed off.

They were very responsive and went above and beyond where they could (e.g. helping to build the murphy bed that needed to be drilled into the floorboards).

The team made sure we were satisfied with the work at every stage.

We had our kitchen remodeled and we couldn’t be happier! It is beautiful!! Our contractor, Jim Mylett was the best!
He shows up on time, works hard all day only taking a little time for lunch. I watched him several times and he takes pride in his work. His workers follow his lead. Jim likes everything done right and boy does it show. People love my kitchen.

Mylett Construction led by Jimmy Mylett did an excellent job on the interior of our home where we had needed significant improvements that were long overdue. Mylett Construction was meticulous, careful, attentive, courteous, and professional. They were good listeners and asked very good questions to fully understand my ideas and what I envisioned. I appreciated the exchange of insight as they helped me understand the pros and cons of my wish list, the associated choices to make, and how to approach each major phase of the project. Peace of mind is very important to me, and I really liked how they were approachable and answered questions every step of the way and accommodated our schedules and special requests when possible.

Their decades of experience and expertise were evident, and we are now very happy with our improved upgraded home. We highly recommend Mylett Construction!

Jimmy and his team are exceptional at their craft. We had Jimmy do various projects such as installing a sink and cabinet, new flooring and painting.

Prior to each task, Jimmy asks what we are interested in accomplishing and then purchases the products for installation. Meticulous is the way I'd describe his workmanship.

Mylett Construction rejuvenated a long neglected second story patio. Work included removing and replacing existing patio and repairs under patio to the garage. Old patio railing was brought up to code and now looks modern. Jimmy did an excellent job explaining the options for the project. He provided updates as the work progressed. I'm happy with the professionalism, workmanship, and the quality of the work.

Mylett Construction did interior work on a condominium unit. The work required painting the entire unit, new vinyl flooring and heating panels. Jimmy recommended the best flooring options. The unit had some deficiencies that Jimmy discovered and corrected. The space was kept neat during the project. I'm grateful for his efficient workmanship and the quality of the work.

Jimmy did an additional remodel of the outdated kitchen and bathroom. Both areas were demolished and completely transformed into modern contemporary rooms. The kitchen work involved new cabinets, back splash tiles, countertops, sink, lighting and appliances. The bathroom work required a new bathtub/shower with glass door, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, lighting, tiles for shower surround and floor tiling. Jimmy and his father communicated helpful advice on design choices and offered solutions to problems. I was happy with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. My renters will enjoy living in this beautifully renovated condo.
