I needed help after frying a breaker (it’s Christmas and I’m running a bunch of electrical load). Genesis was responsive right away, and even though they didn’t have the part needed to fix my issue, they went out of their way to tell me what I could do to fix it on my own. I was able to track down the right breaker and swap it out, holiday saved. It’s great to know businesses still operate like this.

Genesis was great to work with. They returned my call quickly, took time to explain what was needed and help me figure out the best way to resolve the issue. Evan was a pleasure to work with and the quality was excellent. I will definitely be brining them back for my next project.

Coming home from Nevada on Hyway 80, I was cut off by one of their employees in a white sedan. He was driving while on his cell phone. It was way to close, like he was playing video a game. We will not be using them!

We recently purchased a home in Marin, and had to upgrade the main electrical service to the house from 50 Amps to a more reasonable amount. My dad and I had almost completed the entire project, but we had one last thing to address, which required about one foot of 1 inch flexible conduit, which is sold in 100' rolls at almost every wholesale electric and home improvement store. Trying to avoid purchasing 99' in excess, I called every electrical supplier I could find, then I began calling electricians, hoping to buy a foot off of someone, to which I got a lot of "No"s.
Drywall was slated to begin and I was running out of time. Then I walked by an E J Weber Electric van on my way to work and gave them a call. The admin directed me to Scott, so I called his cell, and even though he wasn't at the office, he said they had some and he could probably get me a foot.
Hours passed and I didn't hear back so I assumed it was another dead end. Then Scott texted me, he had a piece for me, no payment needed, and Dan would be waiting until 6 pm.
Dan was incredibly helpful upon my arrival and walked around finding items as we discussed possible solutions for my project. He also refused payment, and send me on my way with enough to complete my project.
If anyone is looking for a company filled with honest and genuinely kind people, this is it.

Kind of a ballsy move to drive a company car and block traffic in a busy parking lot because you don’t want to walk 20 feet. You had a line of 8+ cars waiting for you. Selfish.

I didn't end up using REF, because Hector was such a straight-shooter that he suggested my handyman should likely have a look at the issue first to see if my electrical issue was a simple solve (and thereby save myself some money). This was after he patiently talked me through the problem on the phone and suggested some trouble-shooting. I noted REF has expertise with old SF buildings like mine, so figured I would call them back if it was a more complex issue - but thankfully, just as Hector suspected, it was not. Will certainly keep them in mind for bigger electrical jobs in the future. Thanks Hector!
