As designers, collaboration and communication are everything and this team is excellent on both fronts. We've had the opportunity to work with North Bay Construction on more than one project. They're organized, responsive, and thoughtful in the field, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

They coordinate well with our team and trades, maintained a clean and efficient site, and delivered high-quality work. I’d absolutely partner with them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Ray Cox construction did me terrible. He put up new tile, but never fixed the leak and he broke my shower fan. I’ve tried to contact him but he’s not returning my calls. Horrible businessman!!!!

Francisco at Nabi has done an amazing job managing complex earthquake retrofit projects at various properties in the Bay Area.

Watch out for this contractor. They buy your property info from local governments and then send you a letter incorrectly suggesting that you need their services for an earthquake retrofit requirement when your property is exempt. Not cool. I can only imagine what their other shady practices are. Suggest using a different contractor.

We have dealt with several seismic contractors in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Their in house engineering and construction crews work together to find solutions not change orders. Excellent communications and paperwork. Highly recommend.

We completed several projects with Nabi including a six unit soft story project, full electrical box upgrade and floor pavement/reinforcement. They are professional and went the extra mile to complete the project with higher quality. Highly recommended.

I reached out to Nabi Construction regarding a soft story retrofit for my buildings. Amir came out to inspect my properties and answered any questions I had. He and his team were able to show to get this issue soft story mandated work taken care of. This was an issue that has been stressing me out for quite some time; so to be able to have this issue finally resolved has been such a relief. We contracted with Nabi Construction to do the seismic work for seven (7) of our income properties in San Francisco. The work was performed as contracted, and on a timely basis.

They are a professional team. The management team was always available to answer any questions we had regarding the project. The construction crew completed the project as agreed, and left the property CLEAN.

As a property manager for many condominium complexes in Oakland, I have used Nabi Construction & Engineering for structural concerns encountered in maintaining our properties in a safe and stable manner. My dealings with NC&E have all been positive, cost-competitive, and completed on time, every time. My involvement has been primarily with Amir Nabipour as it relates to Oakland's Soft Story Seismic Stability Inspection Report analysis. His support staff has been very professional in obtaining the certificates of compliance from the City's building department and evaluating any number of structural/balcony podium concerns which have come up. I would not hesitate using this firm, nor recommending NC&E for all of your inspection, design, and building needs.

Current did a whole home remodel for me back in 2019. I had originally contacted David in 2017 to provide an estimate. Anyone who has done a project of this scope can imagine the challenges of hiring a general contractor especially in the Bay Area. I compared the bids of several contractors and, after much review, discussion and thought, decided to proceed with Current. And I'm happy with my decision to do so. David and his team were very easy to work with. Communication was key - when a decision was to be made or issue to be solved, David was forthright with the information and options. He was in constant contact via text, email, and weekly meetings. His crew was very professional, respectful and friendly. It is quite obvious David only hires the best. We were living onsite during the entire project. But I always trusted the persons who were onsite. I never doubted their integrity. Needless to say, with a project of this size, I'm happy to have it behind me. But, if I were to do it again, I would hire Current.

David Breslin(Co-owner) is a true professional. I met him while walking past one of his soft story job sites located on Fillmore St in SF.
Shortly after that, I hired him to seismically upgrade my four story building, also in SF.
He’s very busy, but it was worth the small wait.
David was on site everyday. He discovered weaknesses in our 1904 building that I hadn’t thought of and was a delight to work with. His team was very professional and left the house in a clean state at the end of the day, everyday. David’s response time was almost immediate, which is hard to do when ones business is in high demand.
The job is now completed and David and I are still in contact. He continues to follow up.
This is one quality company and I would hire David to do more seismic retrofits if I owned more buildings.

Mike remodeled (down to the studs) both our kitchen and master bathroom, and we are very happy with the end results for both. As he does a great deal of the work himself rather than subcontractors, we were able to deal with him directly on everything and to know who was responsible for what. Mike communicated promptly with us, showed up when he said he would, and consistently responsive to our questions and concerns. He was flexible with scheduling his work when we needed that. I HIGHLY recommend him for these kinds of remodels and am more than willing to talk with any prospective client of his about the work he did for us in more detail (ask him for my contact information and pictures).

Mike worked closely with us to remodel our bathroom and kitchen. He was very attentive to our ideas and made sure everything was in order before he began. When we had supply issues, he was flexible and came back to finish as the last appliances arrived. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
