Georgi did a wonderful job cleaning all the ducts and the dryer vent very thoroughly. He carefully explained all the steps and recommended some potential add on services without being pushy about them in any way. He provided tips on what I could do myself in future to keep costs down as well. Amazing job will definitely work with Lowe's and hopefully Georgi again next year.

Juan came right on time and provided a 15 minute warning. Was a return visit to evaluate a dryer observation. He very quickly discovered that a bird’s nest was created between his initial service and today. Was a massive build up of ‘nesting’ material. He quickly remedied the situation and confirmed successful remediation and was off to next call

Georgi stopped by my house to work on the dryer vent, and he diagnosed what was the issue with my stackable washer/dryer. It was done in such a way that cleaning the vent was difficult, as getting to the back of the dryer was nearly impossible. He still tried cleaning out the vent from the outside the house. He did this and did not charge for the work as he said the work wasn’t completed. Very knowledgeable, honest man!

We had a heat pump water heater installed several months ago. The Building Efficiency team was excellent, did great work on the installation and completed it right around when they said they would.

Unfortunately, the water heater died within a month of the install, but the Building Efficiency team stood by their work and came back out to swap out the unit, covered by the warranty. We're hoping to get a heat pump hvac someday and will definitely be back in touch for a quote.

The entire project for a new heat pump HVAC, from system design to estimate through installation was highly professional; everyone was a pleasure to work with.

I've worked with David and team on three different projects - insulating our house, installing a whole house fan, and installing a new furnace and air conditioning - and have been extremely satisfied each time. The work is completed in a timely manner, the prices are reasonable (I did shop around), and team members are very professional and courteous, they have a great deal of expertise, and do high quality work. They also provide great post installation support. When our furnace recently stopped working the week before Christmas, we were in a bind as we were leaving town and could not leave our pet in a freezing home. David came out himself even though his schedule was full and managed to get everything working before we left. I would highly recommend these guys and we will continue to use them on our own future projects.

Stay away from this unprofessional outfit. We paid 18k in 2016 for a new hvac, heater, insulation and new ducts. HVAC is great but heater is undersized, insulation insufficient, installation defective. We complained at the time about cold air blowing thru the house, we had Bayren, channel 7, CPUC involved, and were called crazy, sick and everything else by David Hamburger, the owner. Now we found out that the heater is undersized and David claims statute of limitation of 4 yrs thus he takes no responsibility. A joke of a company, a joke of a system in which contractors increase prices as they know rebates are offered by the state/PG&E. Find an honest contractor and ignore rebates, currently offered for heat pumps and other expensive items.

David and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional and got our project done efficiently and effectively. Beto did most of the HVAC installation and does his work to a high standard. You can tell everyone cares about what they do and that they aren’t there just there to clock in and clock out. They really want to leave behind a working system that they can stand behind. We really appreciate all of their hard work and definitely recommend them.
