I was referred to Yehuda by Idan @ Reactic Restoration (who was also trustworthy and did great work) after a neighbors condo leaked into ours.

Yehuda and his crew (we had Chato and Oscár) did quite a few different tasks for us. Painting, removing popcorn ceiling, floor installation, ceiling fan install, vanity/backsplash install, outlet install, and toilet install.

We are very happy with the results and would recommend Nova to anyone.

Yehuda is a great communicator, very responsive with calls, texts, and email. His estimates were precise and itemized clearly. He answered all of our questions and concerns well and went into detail to explain things so we could understand and know what to expect.

Chato and Oscár were great craftsmen. They were polite and friendly. One of the most surprising things was the great care they took to keep things clean. With part of our home in disarray, it was great to have the mess isolated and spreading.

I thought they had good attention to detail, did precise work, and my wife and I felt like they really wanted to make us happy with the result.

We'll definitely keep recommending them and give them a call next time we need some work done.

We retained Nova Builders for the interior repairs (new insulation, drywall, texture, primer, paint, carpet repairs) in our home after water intrusion related damages. Yehuda came highly recommended to us from a colleague. We couldn't have been more satisfied from the work. Yehuda was not only prompt in the initial consult, providing quotes, but followed through to complete the work with great quality and attention to detail. Yehuda and his team (Oscar, Juan, Max) didn't cut corners and went above and beyond to make sure customers are more than satisfied. Few examples: 1) They textured the entire wall (even though initially planned for just the affected areas) to provide a seamless finish; 2) They applied extra paint coats (beyond what was initially agreed) to provide a rich texture after our feedback; 3) They accommodated us on time despite another project running on delayed schedule. Yehuda visited the project on almost every day to inspect and attend to any feedback, so we had the peace of mind that things were on track. A job done and delivered with exceptional quality! We had mold in a bedroom. Yehuda and Nova Builders replaced our roof, rebuilt the bedroom (including a closet) after the mold remediation was done, and then installed a French drain.

Nova restored a gutted part of a room in my house back to like it had never happened. Nova took the time to explain the process and communicated well throughout the process. I am happy with the results as well as the process that got to those results. Based on this job, I would work with Nova again.

Gutter overflowed last winter, wall and floor in the room got soaked. Another company, Reactic, tore apart the wall and floor and dried everything out. Reactic recommended Nova to get everything back to the way it was.

Nova came out quickly and assessed the job. I'm a rookie homeowner and, having never contracted for work like this, it took me a while to get comfortable with the cost. But the price Nova charged allowed them to work deliberately over 4 days to get the project done with quality. Done the right way because the results are good as new, at the same quality or better as the original work done on the house 10 years ago.

Nova took the time to match paints, find matching wooden baseboards (they had to go all the way to a Lowe's in Concord IIRC). Carefully applied and finished the mud, primer, paint, etc. Cleaned up after themselves.

Now that I’ve worked with other vendors, I appreciate the quality of Nova’s work as well as how they interacted with me.

I had a very good experience working with Yehuda and his team. We had a water leak due to which the drywall in our living room had to removed and cleaned up. We couldn't keep it that way for too long. Yehuda was able to accommodate us and put up a new drywall and get everything done in a short timeframe. After some difficulties with other water, mitigation services, I was able to find an excellent water mitigation company called reactive. They recommended nova builders to reconstruct my daughters bedroom and the basement. They were fairly priced, efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I was thinking about adding a Gazebo to my backyard but wasn’t sure if I would be able to afford it in my budget. My father in law recommended I contact Nova Builders. They did an amazing job on my new gazebo! They worked with my budget and were extremely professional!

Yehuda and his team were super professional, fast, flexible and friendly! They installed beautiful hardwood floors downstairs after a flood and repaired all the dry wall damage. They also redid our stair case.

A little over a year ago, a feeder pipe to the sink burst in my ADU. I was outside and heard a "whoosh". When I opened the door to the ADU, I saw that the entire floor was covered by about 3 inches of water.
After reporting the incident to my insurance, I started the process of demolition. It involved the kitchen and connected living area of the ADU and the adjoining bathroom.
Now the reconstruction. After several other bids, I referred to Yehuda Blum and his company Nova Builders, and we decided to accept his proposal. An important second step in the process was a gentleman he hired to go over every step of the reconstruction and submit the cost to the insurance company. The cost came up quite a bit higher than the insurance estimate. However, the inspector had done such a competent job of detailing all the aspect of the reconstruction that adjuster accepted his proposal.
As to the actual reconstruction, Yehuda has excellent workers. He also personally inspects the work done to make sure that it is up to his standards. We also felt that he was extremely considerate in trying to keep the cost within budget or better.
Finally, he stands behind his work. Months later, when I discovered that the bathroom sink was leaking at a joint, I called and within a day or two he sent one of his workers to repair the problem.
In a nutshell; we were extremely satisfied.

A good friend referred me to Nova Builders . I had seen their work and was very impressed. I have a tricky kitchen layout that I wanted to remodel and Juda had great ideas on how to accomplish that. It was certainly a pleasant experience working with Yehuda and his folks. The process and pricing was communicated clearly, and the execution was crisp and clean as well. You don’t have to give much inspections and they will help you clean up the stairs and trash; you don’t really need to be home and watch to know they are doing a good job. Can’t ask for more.

The estimator Tried to tell me that I needed to sign a contract before they did the estimate and it would require that I sign over all insurance money in advance when a claim wasn't even approved . This is highly illegal and can be reported to contractor state license board. He couldn't even look me in the eye when he said it. He likely thought bc i was a woman that I would believe him. You never sign anything until scope and price is agreed as a standard practice. This is a dis honest contractor and beware of using them. I asked how much would he charge just to do the estimate first and he said $4k to do the estimate.
What an absolute scam artist!
