The Mr. Electric team showed up on time, went right to it, and in one hour the rest of my morning was mine - free of any worry that my electrical panel and a fried light switch was on the fritz.

From start to finish, Cris the owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the work involved in adding a wall power outlet to my bathroom. I had received a few other quick quotes via calls/texts which were lower, but left me concerned about additional costs or issues that may come up after the work was started.

Cris accompanied and assisted the electrical technician who did the work. So I felt reassured that I was in good hands and that the work would be done properly to code. The work area was left very clean and the work was completed in an efficient manner. I also asked them to install a light fixture I had purchased and they took care of that very quickly.

I called Mr Electric to have a row of lighting installed. They came out on Saturday (my only day off), were very professional and gave me a discount with a preferred customer advantage plan.

I called Mr Electric because I experienced a power outage in my house they came right away called it an emergency but did not charge me for an emergency call, that was really reliving. They said it was a breaker and replaced it right away the whole “emergency” was solved in a matter of hours. They were responsive, fast and thorough great service overall!

I called around a bit looking for an electrician to install an outlet in my floor so I don’t have to drag cords to the wall for my living room lighting. Mr Electric answered the phone right away and was able to come out next day even during the holidays. Omar was friendly and knowledgeable I was also very impressed by the cleanup afterwards and how he was able to seamlessly hide the outlet.

I finally made the switch from gas to electric and bought myself a Tesla. The home charger was expensive (I went with level 2) and called Mr Electric to do the install. They were overall great, came the same day to give me an estimate the price seemed reasonable so I went ahead and signed their work order on an iPad the gentleman had. They told me they could start the work the next day, that was unexpected but nice, as I am excited to be able to use my home charger finally. Once they finished the work they provided the permit information and all. I was very pleased and my charger is now in my garage working perfectly. Thank you Galen and Cris for prompt and professional service, that isn’t always the case and it is much appreciated.

I had a bad outlet problem for which I contacted few companies and Mr. Electric of San Jose was the first one to respond on a Sunday. Cris communication was clear and super quick. We agreed upon a time and Cris came along with a technician named Galen. I called them on a pretext that I already had the problem diagnosed by a handyman who concluded that the problem might be either with the circuit breaker or the line itself. So, 20min into the diagnosis, technician Galen went to speak with Cris and both came back with an estimate of the repair. The estimate was way over my expectations but while I understand they have the freedom to give whatever estimate they want and I have the freedom to deny proceeding forward, things started getting worse when Galen started shouting in my home explaining what diagnostic fees means (according to him diagnostic fees is to enter my house and not actually figure out what the problem is). Argument continued for sometime and when he started being rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, I asked them to leave. Cris on the other hand has been a true customer oriented small business owner and tried to apologize for the technician's behavior. She also did not want to charge the diagnostic fees given the bad experience with technician.

So, if not for the technician, I would definitely consider working with Cris again.

This company is great, they helped me when no other company I called could. I have been trying to install a few outdoor/indoor sconces on my patio, I called a couple of electricians they said that the way my townhouse was built they could not be installed. I was determined so I called Mr Electric & they came out the next day and explained that it would be a difficult install, but not impossible. In two days they had all three sconces up and running. They weren’t even expensive either, I was very impressed by them. If you have a hard or seemingly impossible job don’t give up like I almost did, give them a call.

The team of Cris and Galen at Mr. Electric were great! Prior to the whole house fan installation Cris was very communicative in setting up the appointment and providing an update on timing for when they would arrive. During the installation Cris and Galen did a great job to repurpose an old house fan register, working with the challenges our house provided. Would definitely recommend them and plan to use their services in the future.

Galen from Mr. Electric came out to install an EV charging outlet in my garage. He was courteous and friendly, and took plenty of time to discuss my questions and various options for the installation. He was very clear about what the costs would be, including which specific aspects of the installation would affect the cost the most. We discussed various safety concerns and he came up with an approach which made me more comfortable. He got the work done in a couple of hours and I'm very happy with the result.
