Henry, the founder, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, ethical and and helpful, and goes above and beyond to treat customers like family and give them the best quality of work and advice possible for their situation. We found CP&LC, a Diamond Certifed company, through a referral by San Jose Plumbing, another excellent Diamond Certified service provider. Permits may be required by your City for electrical work, yet Henry and his team can take care of that for you, provide a fair estimate, and even handle emergency situations, so give CP&LC a call. You will feel very blessed to have Henry and his team taking care of your electrical needs.

Henry and team are absolutely amazing. California Power and Light is at the top of my list for all electrical repairs, upgrades and renovations. In the last seven years they investigated and repaired/replaced panels, sub-panels, old wiring, circuits, outlets, lights, and more for multiple rental properties that I manage as well as my personal home. During this time Henry provided honest and helpful recommendations. There has been no job too small or too large for Henry and his team. I trust California Power and Light to do quality work at an affordable price.

I highly recommend Henry and California Power and Light. Several very old sub panels at my apartment complex needed to be replaced to satisfy new property insurance requirements. Henry was very familiar with my request as he had done several other similar jobs. He met with the local city before the project to ensure a smooth permit process, completed the work, and met with the city again for final inspection. And due to his good relationship with PG&E, he was able to easily coordinate with them as needed. I also felt that the cost of the job was reasonable. I super appreciate Henry's knowledge and professionalism as he helped me begin to navigate this new insurance world.

He leveraged his contacts with PG&E and the city, coordinated everything that needed to happen, and moved incredibly fast.

Not only did he arrange the response right away, he reworked his company’s schedule to get a crew to our house the very next day. From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this.

Beyond the technical expertise and speed, Henry was simply great to deal with. He communicated clearly, stayed calm, and brought a sense of control to what was otherwise a very stressful situation for our family.

Installing Solar with batteries backup is a complex choice. After talking to many vendors (if you've been there, you know how many choices you have), we decided to settle on TN Electrical and Solar since they offered the best prices but also the most transparency in terms of what they offered. Unlike many other shops, they do everything in house.

Working with Nhi has been very straightforward, she always answered any question I had in usually a few minutes.
Nhi has very extensive expertise in the field, and Sony (field director who oversees the installation process and follows up with inspection) is a pleasure to work with as well as being very talented.

My system consists of 10 panels with 2x Tesla Powerwall 3, everything was installed in a single day. The team worked through scorching heat to make sure everything was done in time and minimized disruption for us.

I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to do solar, or if they want to upgrade their system.

After signing a solar and battery contract with a different company and waiting 4 months with no work done, I gave up on them and found TN Electrical and Solar. From first contact to final inspection took literally one week.

I was amazed by the turnaround time, having wasted 4 months with the other company. The work was not only done quickly, it was done methodically, neatly and correctly. No corners were cut to save time. And the cost was lower than the other contractor. A large team of installers (8 or 9) worked in parallel to get the job done.

TN Electric and Solar installed solar panels and two storage battery packs in October. And I cannot be happier. It was a very pleasant experience. The installation was flawless with a group of professional, efficient and courteous installers led by Sunny. There was a little hiccup (low voltage power went out and doorbell and thermostat stopped working), but Sunny put them in order in no time.

In addition, Hanh (owner) took care of everything including the permit and PTO application and followed up with PG&E to make sure that PTO is issued asap.

Pricewise, it was more competitive than any other contractors I talked to. Schedule-wise, it was also the best. Once I signed the contract, it was done within a week while other companies talked about at least a few months long lead time.

I would wholeheartedly recommend TN Electric and Solar to anyone interested in solar and battery storage.
