I called Ethan Brothers Plumbing & Gas about a clogged kitchen sink. Over the weekend, I spoke with someone who let me know I could save some money by waiting until Monday, which worked fine for me. On Monday morning, I got a confirmation call to get my address and set up the appointment for later that day. Not long after, I was updated that the plumber, Miguel, was on the way. When Miguel arrived, we discussed my concerns and he got right to work on the sink. He worked steadily, keeping me informed on his progress. Once he finished clearing the clog, he showed me that the water was draining quickly and smoothly. I was really impressed with how thoroughly he cleaned up, making sure the floor and the area under the sink were spotless. It looked like no one had even been there. I’m very happy with the quality work and reasonable price.

I even had a plumbing emergency, and they were able to come out and fix everything just a couple of hours after I called. Their quick response was impressive. Later, when I needed to extend a pipe for a new septic system—which required some digging—this team was great at explaining my options. Miguel worked together with my septic crew to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend these plumbers for anyone in San Marcos looking for reliable and knowledgeable service. Did good, quick, work. Weekend was no extra cost. Diego was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Only issue with Roto Rooter is it sometimes seems a little pricier. But the work was good.

I had a hot water heater installed into my house over 3 weeks ago and had requested a paper copy sent to the address in which I live so my land lord whom requested such paper could keep for his records. Ive spoken to 4 different employees about this matter without any solution even from a manager. I will never recommend this company and will share my story with as many people who will hear me

Let me start by saying my mother is on hospice and is bedridden. I called Rotor Rooter to come out and unclog her toilet in the master bedroom. They found it necessary to put a camera down the pipe to see what the problem was and they found a collapsed line. They said I would have to move my mother out of the room and it would take approx. four days to complete the job. This was a BIG job to correct a clogged toilet. I called for a second opinion with a different plumber and they fixed it in less than an hour with a snake. I would NOT recommend Roto Rooter. Beware of this company!!!

This review is mainly for Brandon. Brandon Gross at Roto-Rooter was prompt, extremely professional, and thorough. I was having drainage issues in my backyard, so I called Roto-Rooter for landscape / French drain clearing of roots. Brandon promptly adressed the issue and identified a secondary issue which requires additional equipment, that they are coming back tomorrow. I wish we had more people in the world with a focus on customer service like Brandon.
