San Jose Tree Service & Landscaping has helped me with multiple projects, most recently by removing two large, problematic trees and a few small, volunteer trees in poor locations. The outcome was excellent, and the team was prompt, proficient, and professional.

Second time I've used San Jose Tree Service & Landscaping and again did a fantastic job and reasonably priced. I needed a backyard clean up after all the rains from winter plus trees pruned. They promptly communicated with me after requesting service via on line, set up an appt working with my time line, everything done by phone & email. Outstanding company and employees and I highly recommend.

I recently had both tree trimming and backyard landscaping done by San Jose Tree Service. All their services are high quality, but I was especially satisfied with the large landscaping project they did for me.

From the estimate provided by Robert to the design consultations with Noe to the labor done by Jose and his team, I was continually satisfied with and grateful for their professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness. Whenever I had a question or concern, Noe responded quickly and patiently made sure that I had all the answers I was looking for.

I had them renovate my entire back yard and add artificial grass, quartz pebbles, a stone walkway, a paver path, base rock areas, and a concrete retaining wall. The job took two weeks, and each day, Jose and his team arrived on time and did excellent, diligent work. It was easy to communicate with both Jose and Noe whenever I had questions or wanted to make changes to the landscaping.

In the end, I was very impressed and happy with how clean and beautiful they made my backyard look. It's now a much more pleasant area for my family and my dogs to hang out it in. I am grateful to Robert and his team at San Jose Tree Service and would happily work with them again in the future for my tree trimming and landscaping needs.

As a result of the major mid-March 2023 storms, my large Redwood lost a number of limbs, some of them still hanging several months later. I contacted 4 Arborists to gather their opinions, and obviously get a quote from them. Robert Apolinar came to see my tree within 2 days of calling him. Of all the 4 arborists I consulted, he was the most knowledgeable about what the Redwood needed. His quote was almost identical to the other 3. To be totally transparent, one large local tree company was slightly cheaper than all of them, but by only 10% of the total cost.
The team at San Jose Tree Service was phenomenal: friendly, very professional, and very efficient. Most importantly they did a fabulous work at properly trimming my giant (90 feet tall) Redwood which is now extremely well balanced. Previous arborists, trimmed the inside of the Redwood leaving the edges bushy and full hence creating tremendous amount of weight on the branches which eventually lead them to break in heavy winds.
San Jose Tree Service is an arborist that I highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

They removed a dead tree and replaced it with a new one. The team did swift work and were clearly highly skilled. The workers were courteous and cleaned up the whole area afterwards. Robert, the arborist, who prepared the initial quote is very knowledgeable. He was helpful in training us how to care for all of the trees on our property and also with suggesting which type of tree we could replant in this location.
I did get two competitive quotes. This company was a little below the midpoint and I'm nearly certain they provide the best service.

San Jose Tree Service Inc - This service is amazing from start to finish. Talking with Karen for appointment and billing to have the professional tree personnel coming on site to give this property a safe and healthy trim on all company trees . An arborist Robert , will come out before to assess all your trees. And then the professional tree personnel will come out and take one tree at a time. And clean behind them. Robert and his crew did great work trimming our very old oak trees.
They also did some landscaping for us a few years back. We are very pleased with their work, crew, cleanup, and the finished product!!!

Very happy with San Jose Tree Service & Landscaping for a tree planting in our front yard. They were very responsive, answered all of my questions with very clear, informative, and understandable answers, and were very flexible, kind, and patient when we had an issue with prior tree stump removal by a different company. Highly recommend!
