Marin County Arborists are excellent. Helpful, responsive, reliable. We have used them for tree pruning, tree removal, and preventative spraying, and other tasks.

Exceptional service - from the first conversation, through the onsite visit, to the work and the thorough cleanup. I was especially impressed that their lead supervisor has been with this family-owned company for 30 years and loves his work.

We are huge fans. Ken’s expertise, enthusiasm and diligence are outstanding in his field. The company’s work and attention to detail is excellent. And their prices are competitive.

Living in Marin, I have had lots of need for an arborist and have used several companies over the years. Ken and Marin County Arborists are, by far, the most professional and most efficient and highest quality tree maintenance and removal company in the Bay Area. And his crews always leave my property looking better than when they arrived.

Marin County Arborists did an amazing job today. Our home insurance requires us to remove 5 mature trees at the bottom of our garden. The owner of Marin County Arborists, Ken, clearly knows what he is doing and is a tree expert. Munro and his crew of 5 men arrived at 8AM and worked so hard and so well together. They had incredible equipment to facilitate the work. I could not be happier with this great experience and their fantastic work. Highly recommend.

Such a positive experience - had some questions regarding caring for the many pittosporum in our yard and received a ton of thoughtful advice before making the decision to have them trimmed. I felt they were very honest, truly concerned for the health of our trees, and really cognizant of costs.

The trimming appointment couldn’t have been easier for us - quick, kind service and another super knowledgeable person to answer my questions. Left our yard very clean. Couldn’t recommend these guys more - in a time when businesses are so busy, short staffed, etc and it can be hard to get a response or questions answered, they were unbelievable.

I have used Marin Arborist for about 12 years. We moved into a new home about 3 years ago and because of a friend’s recommendation we tried another service. That service tried to scare me into un-needed pesticide treatments and pruning and over charge us. How do I know I have a PhD in entomology and have worked in the industry for many many years. We quickly went back to Marin Arborist. Marin Arborist are fair, friendly, fast and honest.

We hired Marin County Arborists a few years ago for a significant project that involved the removal of one large, unstable oak tree and the detailed pruning of three mature maples near our home. I cannot recommend them highly enough—they exceeded every expectation.

I’m very happy with Marin County Arborists . Based on a previous job they did for me, I chose to use MC Arborist when I had to remove my valley oak.
The job took all day and they took great care making sure nothing other than the oak tree was touch. Very responsive, respectful and competitively priced.

Finally as we pass through this stormy weather I can relax instead of watching the trees outside my window wondering and worrying if the next big gust of wind will bring one down on my house thanks to these guys! They did an excellent job trimming back all the dangerous limbs and over growth I had and were extremely knowledgeable of the diffrent trees and how to cut them to keep them healthy. They were very courteous and really went the extra mile to be sure to move all my lawn decorations as to not damage anything which I really appreciated. I also really appreciated them being flexible with my schedule. Robert was super nice, friendly, down to earth, and really knew his stuff and came on time with a great crew. And they had no problem answering my laundry list of questions about the trees and the process. Well priced and just a great experience all around! I highly recommend this company! Thank you guys! 😊

I interviewed a couple Arborists in the Somoma area and picked Marin County Arborists after Robert and I walked my property to survey the trees I was worried about. Robert understood my concern to only reshape my very old olive trees to bring them back to a manageable size. We agreed to do a little work then and more a year later when we could see how the tree reacted.

It gets better…Roberto and Vilmer came to my house and did such a great job. These two have been to my house several times to work on my old Oaks, sycamores and Chinese Tallows. They even touched up some of my neglected fruit trees.

Bottom line is these three guys are my team to keep my property in shape and looking good. Five stars in the truest sense!

They are dependable, hard-working and very fairly priced and have never tried to upsell their services. Shout out also to Mauro who applied great care and an aesthetic eye to everything he touched or trimmed.

Hired Fernando from Armstrong Tree Service today. A great to work with. An expert team & quick too. I’d definitely hire them again for my next major tree pruning.
