We contacted Volta HVAC & Appliance Repair to diagnose a problem with our washer. We called them on a Sunday and an appointment was set for Monday. David was our technician, and he texted ahead of his timely arrival. He quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended replacement vs. repair of the washer. He was professional, knowledgeable, and we appreciated his honesty.

James came out to fix our older dryer. He really knows his appliance repairs. He diagnosed the problem quickly and ordered the necessary part which came in quickly. He installed it and our dryer is working perfectly again. James is excellent at repairing appliances. No reason to buy a new dryer which probably isn't made as well as the older ones when you can call Volta and James to come out to fix your existing dryer.

Our Viking refrigerator/freezer went out the weekend before Christmas. Of course I had just made a trip to Costco for an upcoming family party and we now had no cooling in freezer or refer. I called Volta on Monday and James came out that evening. He diagnosed the problem, ordering a fan and new circuit board. He promised to return with parts in a few days, his office stayed in touch with us, updating progress and he was back on Friday. He spent a couple more hours installing the parts and cleaning mechanical parts and coils. We watched the temp slowly drop and by Saturday morning it was perfect. We feel his price was fair and he was neat, punctual and courteous. We will definately call Volta again.

Last Sunday, I called and left message regarding my refrigerator not working properly. They called back shortly, and sent a repairman in few hours. James showed up, checked the problem, gave a reasonable estimate with details, and worked tirelessly. He fixed my refrigerator and cleaned up the area. He was so courteous, efficient, very smart, and trustworthy. I also am awed that he showed up in short notice, especially it was on Sunday. Volta is trustworthy & does excellent work. I am their customer for life.

My dryer failed to start over the weekend. When I looked up Volta, they were able to send out James the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and returned in 2 days with the parts. He was efficient, diligent, and tidy. Cleaned out the whole unit. Good as new. It was awesome. Thank you James!!

We had an issue with our condenser pipe in the AC unit. David came by knew exactly how to solve the problem. We were worried that we’d have to pay so much to fix it, but he gave us a fair price and he got to work the same day! It took him a very short time and our AC condenser pipe stopped dripping, and he fixed the root of the problem by replacing the pipe and clearing the clog, we are so grateful for his service. I definitely recommend calling them for your HVAC needs!!!

Impressive and efficient service from Volta! I contacted them on Monday morning when my AC wasn't blowing cold air. They promptly scheduled an appointment for the same afternoon, and true to their word, David arrived on time. His expertise shone through as he thoroughly explained the issue and proposed a solution for the fix.

In just about 30 minutes, David had the AC purring like a charm and blowing refreshing cold air once more. I'm thoroughly satisfied with their work and professionalism. For any future HVAC and appliance repair needs, I won't hesitate to call Volta again.

Reached out to Volta to have them look at our AC system which failed during the recent heatwave (July 2024). I actually managed to fix the condenser issue myself but went ahead with the appointment so that they could review my fix and identify any other issues. David was extremely courteous and helpful, and tidied up the work I had done. He tested everything and also gave great advice on keeping our AC system, our refrigerator, and our dryer running at maximum efficiency. If I ever needed AC help again, I would go straight back to Volta and David!

this company should be your first and last stop for appliance repairs. James was friendly and got to work expediently in finding the cause of my freezer issue. he was efficient in the repair after giving me the repair cost. he checked out the rest of my freezer to make sure everything else was good. I really appreciated his service as well as, how the company communicated with me. I highly recommend this company.

Heater stopped working. James came out shortly after (same day), replaced our heater's gas valve, and got the unit back in working order within a couple hours. Will use them again for HVAC or other appliance needs.

This company has been a life saver for all our appliance needs over the last couple of years. They always schedule the technician within 24hours and the issue is resolved at the same visit. We have had the chance to work with James for all our appliance issues and have been very satisfied with his work. Refrigerator was not cooling. James came the next day and quickly identified the problem was about the compressor. He had it replaced immediately on site the first visit, saved my whole refrigerator of food. He even let me know that the manufacturer offered free compressor replacement saving me money on the part. Great service at reasonable price. An awesome trustworthy local business in TriValley area.

Story is much too long - basically, washer stopped working properly.
I attempted to have 2 other companies repair, no luck.
Reached out to Volta late morning today (Sat). Was able to have technician show up w/in 90 mins (wow!)

david was very thourough on diagnosing furnace issue, and pinpoint the real parts with issues. he came back twice to make sure it wil perform and explain in detail about the repair work. the response is fast and scheduled on time. technically it is great work.

James was great! We were having issues with our furnace/HVAC unit. We contacted multiple companies that either did not know the issue or were charging thousands. James from VOLTA was friendly, professional, and quickly identified a fix for much cheap! Highly recommend!

I can see why this company gets good reviews. When our washer went down, I looked up every appliance repair shop in our area. I read reviews, but at the end of the day, I went with the one that responded repeatedly and in a timely fashion. Volta and James, consistently let me know when they could come out, and then when they were on the way.
I had looked up the repair on YouTube and I could do it, but it would take quite a while as it required the inner/outer door to be removed to access the latch and then take the other side apart to access the lock.
I showed James the washer and let him get to work. About 45 minutes (or less) he let me know the repair was done, using our current parts and that they warranted the work.
Very nice guy and he knew exactly what he was doing. I can't say enough about this team. Definitely recommend.
