We moved to the Bay Area just over a year ago after purchasing our new home, and we were thrilled to find W and W Builders Group. They came highly recommended, and we can confidently say they are one of the best teams we've worked with.
Our project involved a major remodel, including a large kitchen, parts of the living room, master suite, and multiple bathrooms. From the start, Gil provided invaluable guidance, putting us at ease with his expertise. With their extensive experience in large projects, nothing seemed too complex for them to tackle.
Communication was excellent throughout. Noe, our project manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with—always honest and proactive. He kept us informed with frequent updates and made sure everything, from materials to timelines, was meticulously tracked. Every change order was transparent and handled efficiently, making the process smooth and stress-free.
As for the workflow, W and W Builders run a tight ship. From design to demolition and final touches, every step was carefully planned and executed. Their team ensured no time was wasted, and everything was done right the first time.
The quality of their work is outstanding. They pay close attention to detail and delivered results that matched the vision perfectly. Gil’s eye for precision was clear throughout the project, and the entire team worked to uphold the highest standards.
We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend W and W Builders Group for any remodeling project.

We completed our 900 sq. ft. addition about three months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with W and W Builders Group and Magen as our project manager. From the start, we received excellent design suggestions and valuable guidance in selecting finish materials, making the entire planning process much smoother.

Like any large project, there were a few bumps and delays along the way, but overall, our expectations were met, and we are extremely pleased with the final result.

    Highly recommended!

W and W Builders did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our home in the Los Gatos hills. The house is nearly 100 years old, with walls that are far from straight, but they handled everything brilliantly. Not only did they completely transform our two outdated bathrooms, but they also skillfully addressed the challenges of working with such an old structure. I've worked with many tilers on other properties, and Armando is hands down the best. Gil kept me well-informed throughout the project, and the entire team was punctual, even stepping in to fix mistakes made by our previous plumber. I highly recommend W and W Builders for any renovation project!

W and W Builders Group did a fantastic job with our condo remodel in Los Gatos. They coordinated the 3D kitchen design with Albert’s cabinets , who also impressed us with their beautiful, modern cabinets. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, throughout the design and construction phases, Magen, our project manager was always there for us—promptly returning our calls, answering questions, and getting the job done exactly as we wanted. It was a great collaboration. They paid close attention to our needs and concerns throughout the entire project. We couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend W and W Builders Group!

My parents just finished an extensive renovation on their San Francisco home, and they had such a great experience with the W and W Builders Group team! The crew was incredibly patient, transparent, and guided them through every step—from design to completion.

With all the horror stories out there about shady contractors, we’re so grateful we chose them. Their 2,800 SF home is now completely transformed, inside and out, and it looks absolutely stunning.

Huge thanks to the team for making this such a smooth and rewarding process! Five Stars!

‏Can’t say enough good things!!! W and W came in, got to work, and never slowed down. No drama, no surprises. Just a solid crew that actually cares about doing a good job. They deserve this review and so much more! Highly recommend them for any high-end master bathroom remodeling project.

We recently completed a full home remodel with W and W Builders including our kitchen, bathrooms, full electrical and repipe, new windows and doors, flooring, and paint with Magen as our project manager, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
My husband and I are very detail-oriented and needed guidance throughout the design phase. After meeting with several contractors, we chose to work with Magen Peretz because of her warm demeanor, creative design insight, and thoughtful approach.
Magen made smart refinements to our initial plans that simplified the process and helped us stay within budget without compromising our vision. From start to finish, she and the entire team were punctual and communicative. The craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, and the project was completed on schedule.
If you’re looking for a team that excels in both design and execution, we highly recommend W and W Builders. you won’t regret it.

We had a massive double-trunked Douglas Fir fall on our home, destroying the north end and cracking our 8x12 glu-lam beams. It was a structural nightmare that required a total reframing and a new 4,000 sq. ft. roof.
We hired W and W Builders Group to "put Humpty Dumpty back together again," and Magen and her team were nothing short of fabulous. From recommending an excellent architect and HVAC specialist to completing the complex roof reconstruction, they handled everything with precision and worked seamlessly with me and my designer.
    Why we recommend them:
    • Reliability: They delivered on time and on budget.
    • Communication: Excellent updates throughout the entire process and addressed any and all of our questions/concerns.
    • Professionalism: The job site was kept clean, and the crew was incredibly respectful.
We were so impressed and satisfied that we’ve already hired them again for a full primary bathroom gut and remodel. I’ve recommended them to all my friends and neighbors and recommend them to you —you won't find a better team!

My disastrous experience with Golden Gate Mechanical started on when they sent me an invoice (by email) out of the blue relating to a condo that I owned in Palo Alto. Upon further investigation, it turns out that the HOA had called them out months earlier regarding roof leaks. GGM had some bizarre theory that maybe the roof AC condenser for my unit was at fault, so they turned the condenser switch off on the roof, turned the thermostat to off in my unit (the HOA let them in), and removed the batteries from my thermostat. Of course my AC unit wasn't the problem and the leaks continued all over the building until they were properly fixed by roofers. Nevertheless, GGM sent me a $212 invoice, months later, for their "service" of wrongfully disabling my HVAC system, which I had to restore and reprogram later. Then things got worse.

I replied to the unexpected invoice (CC'ing the HOA) saying that the HOA called GGM out and the HOA is responsible for roof leaks in the building, so the HOA should pay this. Nobody responded and more than a month passed and I assumed it was resolved. But then I tried to sell my condo and GGM sent a bogus payment demand to the escrow agent. If they still wanted payment from me for the shoddy work that I didn't want or ask for, it's strange that they would contact escrow rather than contacting me first. I instructed escrow to ignore the bogus payment demand, but I decided to pay the $212 myself anyway, since my (former) HOA was partially at fault for calling them out and not paying them.

I'm giving GGM a poor rating both for the incompetent "fix" which actually made things worse, and for sending a bogus payment demand to the escrow company rather than just telling me that they hadn't been paid. I'm glad that I won't ever have to deal with them again.

Very unprofessional. I made an appointment for a home estimate on bathroom repair. Jay from Elite Master did NOT show up or call. When I reached out to him, he stated he didn't even write are appt down. He was scrambling for words and hung me up the whole day. I Do NOT Recommend at all. Business conducted poorly

We recently used Oakridge to install new under-floor support, subfloor, and flooring in one bathroom, and to do a more extensive remodel of a second bathroom. Roman and his team were responsive, courteous, and communicative throughout the process, as well as being quick to troubleshoot and doing quality work in a timely manner. We’re very happy with the finished product and will definitely use them again!

In September, I purchased a home with a completely non-functional detached garage. It had no power, no lighting, and no working doors, so I needed everything from electrical wiring to new doors/openers, outlets, lighting, and a security camera installed. After reaching out to several companies and receiving a wide range of estimates, I decided to go with Roman at Oakridge Construction.

While Roman wasn't the cheapest bid (nor the most expensive), he was by far the most transparent, detailed, and professional during the quoting process. This was my first time hiring a general contractor, and he set an extremely high bar for any future work I take on.

Throughout the entire project, Roman was consistently communicative, sending photos, videos, and updates as each stage progressed. My partner and I hadn't even moved into the home yet and were abroad for a week and a half during the renovation, and Roman kept everything moving smoothly without us ever feeling out of the loop.

A few unexpected issues came up, as they often do with older structures, but Roman approached each one with solutions, honesty, and a commitment to doing the job the right way with quality materials. It was clear he takes pride in his work.

Whether your project is big or small, Roman and his team are reliable, thoughtful, and truly care about delivering a great result. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again and highly recommend Oakridge Construction.

I recently had Oakridge Construction install a backup battery system (Anker Solix) with a dedicated sub-panel at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

From the very beginning, Roman and his team were professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained the whole process in detail, made sure everything was code-compliant, and the installation itself was super clean — the wiring and conduit work look perfect.

Now I have peace of mind knowing that my house is protected during power outages, and the whole setup runs flawlessly. If you’re looking for a contractor who knows what he’s doing and takes real pride in his work, I highly recommend Oakridge Construction Inc.
