Servando was excellent and efficient! He quickly diagnosed a faulty repair from a previous homeowner on the AC drainage line, documented everything thoroughly with pictures and clear explanations. Very transparent, knowledgeable and much fairer price targeting the actual issue than competing quotes that were trying to upsell unnecessary full line replacement.

When I purchased my home, I quickly discovered a long list of neglected issues that needed immediate attention. It was clear the house hadn’t been cared for in many years. One of the most urgent problems was the heating system—specifically, a dangerously faulty electric ignition that could have caused a fire.
Servando came out to assess the situation and immediately impressed me with his professionalism and respectful communication. He clearly explained all my options and helped me make an informed decision. I ultimately chose to replace the heater and also added an air conditioning unit.

Servando and his team completed the entire installation in just one day. They worked efficiently, wrapped the area for safety, and left the space looking clean and much improved. Later, Servando returned to help with the filter and even cleaned the entire duct system.

What stands out most is that even now, long after the initial job, I can still call Servando and he treats me like a valued customer every time.

I purchased 2 Daikin units for my upstairs and downstairs which turned out to be defective and not covered under warranty since unbeknownst to me my HVAC company bought them ‘off market’. We needed to get our furnace replaced and I’m glad we found Made Simple! Sonny was very knowledgeable and pricing was good. Jorge did a great job replacing the actual furnace. Communication was also very prompt. Overall, had a great experience with Made Simple and would highly recommend!

I was so grateful that Made Simple Heating and Air picked up the phone at 4:15 pm after I called at least 10 heating repair companies in the San Jose area. Cesar called on a technician to see if he could fit me in at the end of the day. WIthin 15 minutes, Svando drove to my home in San Jose to repair my 12 year old Bryant heater that failed to turn on today. My home was a chilly 58 degrees. Quickly the heater was checked, pilot light was on, so Svando checked the thermostat. A faulty wire did not connect the signal to the heater. Luckily, extra thermostats were in the work van so we picked one and the heat was back on. Excellent, fast, and reliable service. My home is nice and warm! I highly recommend Made Simple Heating and Air!!!

Servando and Cesar have gone above and beyond to help us out. They replaced a furnace and added AC to our home shortly after we moved in. They helped us understand all the options since we were new to this. They also upgraded us to a slimmer AC unit at no additional charge so that it would fit better in our alley. They've continued to help us out with questions after the initial installation. Overall we would recommend them strongly and look forward to continuing to work with them!

Some people think the most important part of an HVAC system is the Heating and AC, however, any company can provide that. Where Made Simple separates themselves from the competition, is their service and the $aving$ they deliver. XMas eve when everyone's power went out in the Bay Area, the Made Simple team responded to our distress call, and got our 4 mini splits back up and running the next day. They also came back out a couple of times to make sure our WiFi dongle was properly connected. Now we can monitor the temp in the house from out of town, and preheat before we arrive home. Between the savings from temperature control, AND the rebate they were able to find us, we couldn't be happier with Made Simple and the units they installed. That's right, a rebate we weren't expecting, was a great way to start 2026!

We had Sonny come over and give us a quote on replacing our existing furnace with a heat pump. They quoted a fair price and they were able to get the installation done within the week. Overall, we had a great experience with this company and with Sonny, and I would highly recommend this company

I cannot recommend Made Simple Heating & Air enough! After dealing with two other companies that charged us a ton of money, guessed at the repairs, and failed to fix our AC after multiple visits (even during a heatwave), we finally found Servando and his team through Thumbtack.

Servando Fregoso Vargas and his partner Jose were absolutely fantastic. They came out the same day, diagnosed the issue quickly, and replaced our thermostat line in about an hour and a half. Not only did they provide a free diagnostic, but their price was very fair and reasonable compared to the big names and small shops we’d previously worked with.

Both Servando and Jose took the time to educate us about the issue, were incredibly kind, and treated us with respect throughout the entire process. Now, we have a perfectly working AC, and I’m relieved to finally have a solution that wasn’t only effective but also cost-effective.

I couldn't be happier with Made Simple Heating and Air. They installed a heat pump system including ducts and vents in my 1919 built house. Sonny who first came to my house to discuss the project, addressed my concerns clearly and respectfully. Top notch service was also provided by Cesar who handled all administrative logistics with ease, even taking the lead on my rebate applications. My almost 20 year old heater furnace has been working , but not completely reliable'
Made Simple came to check it out. Servando and his assistant Jose inspected my system (HVAC all elements) and gave me a full explanation including photos and videos of what the problems were. They did clean up and fix some parts that improved the reliability temporarily. I have proceeded with the company to apply for rebates with the amazing help of Cesar Diaz and if those rebates go through, I can proceed with complete new installation for new HVAC system.So far I have received excellent service and customer care.

Grade=A, Great company. I checked CHATGPT and Yelp for the best HVAC company with low cost and Made Simple Heating showed up. I did a request for quotes from top 3 vendors and Made Simple Heating tied for the lowest cost. Of the vendors, Made Simple Heating was most knowledgeable and most helpful, especially related to available rebates. My high opinion of Made Simple Heating was confirmed by a state sponsored third-party testing company for HVAC who said that Made Simple was one of their top 5 vendors. Made Simple is large enough to offer a wide range of services and small enough to offer personal services that larger vendors do not offer. Best of all, Made Simple helped me get a $7,500 rebate that the other vendors did not offer with the necessary help to meet the rebate filling anticipated deadline. They did all the extensive paperwork to submit the rebate paperwork, which is a great level of service.

From the start, I was impressed with Made Simple Heating. I was able to talk to one of the co-owners regarding my unique needs. He sent a qualified sales person the next day whereby other vendors required 1+ week lead time. I had a unique need of wanting to use a particular Honeywell thermostat whereby other vendors wanted to use their preferred thermostat. They granted my request. Beyond my immediate HVAC needs, the sales rep recommended a great electrician for another job I had and recommended a great window AC for my Man Cave.
