awful special order services. We ordered a Milgard sliding door through Home depot that was to be delivered to my home. Order went fine. Closer to delivery time of three weeks I called three times and the date kept changing until finally i was told last thursday that Milgard rep was telling the home depot rep that it had shipped and it would be there the next day (Friday). Home depot rep told me "they don't deliver to us on Fridays". I told the HD rep to please contact me as soon as it was on-site if it came on Friday. One week later (yesterday) i spent thirty minutes in phone transfer purgatory, got hung up on twice, got a busy signal for twenty minutes trying to call back and when I finally talked to the girl, she said "oh, its been here since last friday sitting in the south lot" When I asked why nobody had contacted me or was it being delivered, she just said "your order got lost in a system transfer" and "it was never going to get delivered to you, sorry" So I had a hole in the side of my house for an extra week, when my contractor could have installed it over the long week last week. No action on the part of HD to rectify or make right.

Absolutely the worst. Would never recommend.. Take a site visit and meet his entire crew that he doesn’t have. I recommend you don’t pay a thing until the work is complete and check your invoices closely.

Carreiro Builders did an excellent job for us when they completed a total remodel of a 4500 sq ft home. We were so impressed with their work that we chose them for another project and built our new 3,100 sq ft home more recently in 2018.

He is a man of high integrity and delivered both our projects on time and with excellent quality. When issues arose, as they always do in construction, he and his team provided common sense solutions and kept an eye on keeping us within budget.

Carreiro Team built our dream home in Windsor and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this once in a lifetime dream home. The team was always on the job, they were organized, paid attention to details, left everything clean everyday. Tom worked with us on costs and kept all subcontractors to agreed upon prices. The job was done in time, great help with permitting (someone was always here when Inspectors were scheduled). The carpenters, plumber, HVAC and tile subcontractors were especially wonderful. We could not have chosen a better team. To this day we have deep gratitude for the beautiful home we get to live in everyday and know it would not have happened without the Carreiro Team.
