Mike Lopez is the best in the business. He runs a great family tree service and his two sons Mike and Alex work alongside. The pricing was more than fair. Would pay them again in a heartbeat. Start to finish the guys did an outstanding job. From the setup, tree coming down, limbing, cleanup, consulting and they even helped us pull up stubborn Ivy and move a massive boulder. They were communicative, helpful and real professionals. I would trust them to do any job moving forward. I wont use anyone else. Use Lopez tree service if you want trustworthy, knowledgable pros at a great price!

Had an appointment scheduled for 9:30-10:30 for an estimate. Never showed or cared to call me for a delay of timeframe. I will go with another company that values the time of the client.

I was so happy with this company they were able to remove my dead tree during the storms. They came out and assesed my tree and made me feel secure knowing they could remove it before it would fall on my house. They also came back and removed the Stump! Great service and excellent communication.

Michael came out and gave me a quote. He showed up with his very professional crew, cut down my tree, and left the yard looking better than before he showed up. I recommend this company if you want the job done right.

We have worked with Mike for about 20 years. He is easy to work with. Does a nice job and cleans up afterwards. His crew is friendly and respectful. He is not cheap, but I believe it is a good value.

Hi all, I very highly recommend Lopez Tree Service (not to be confused with Lopez and sons tree service, whom I know nothing about). They are very prompt, professional, and do a great job, at a fair price. Mike always returned my calls and texts, as soon as he had a break. He works right along side his guys, so he can't always answer, but leave a message or a text, and he gets back to you soon.

Mike Jr came out to remove a tree for my mom in Carmel by the sea. They were very quick to set a date for the service to be done. The crew worked quickly and also cleaned up as if they were never there. We then had them come back to grind the stump for a fair price a few days later. A neighbor had some concerns when taking the tree down and Mike Jr spoke with him and resolved everything very professionally. I highly recommend Lopez Tree Service and Mike!

Lopez Tree Service took a tree down in my neighbors yard.. After they came in my yard to clean up the debris from tree and did such an incredible job of cleaning up. I've used them in the past to take down a tree with care and excellent service. I would highly recommend them.

We had the absolute best experience with Lopez Tree Service.
They went far above and beyond to help us, they were FAR less expensive than any of the other Tree Services we called.

On a Thursday night a large section of our very large tree broke off at 7:00 PM. It took out the fence, draped over a car, was blocking our driveway and part of the street. We called them the next morning and even though part of their crew was out of town they sent someone over to clean up the immediate mess, this was on a Friday.

The next Monday they showed up with a full crew to take care of the fallen section with the wood chipper. We knew the tree was compromised and had hoped to keep it until the fall, but Mike Sr. showed us what a true danger it was to leave it. The whole inside of the tree was rotted out, since it was missing 1/3 of it’s weight there was a high likelihood the rest of it was going to go, that section would take out our living room.

We agreed to take the tree down then and their but wanted to know if we could replace it with the same type of tree. A mature tree, a very large one. We had done some shopping knowing we would probably have to replace it even before it exploded so we had an idea about how much is should cost.

Mike got us a price for the new tree on Tuesday. We were able to pick the tree we wanted from pictures they sent us. Their price to replace the tree was 5k less than everyone else.

Mike and his crew dug out a hole for the new tree 2x the size of the box it was coming in. When the tree arrived 14 days from the date the original tree broke, they had their crew ready to unload and plant it. This was no easy thing. The tree is huge. When they were all done, in record time, our yard literally looked like nothing had ever happened. The Fence that needed to be removed was put back exactly the way it was, they took the time to move some of our plants so they would not be trampled, they cleaned up our entire yard, not just the area they were working in.

They were kind, professional and very caring. If you need any kind of tree service you will not be disappointed in Lopez Tree Service.

Excellent company, professional, on time and hands down the best tree trimmers we’ve ever had. Not only are they professional and considerate of the property they working at their hard working, fair priced and go above and beyond for the customer. They are also considerate of the neighbors driveways etc. I was shocked at how quickly they got the work done and the clean up was better than anything I had anticipated. Lopez Tree Service (father and son) stepped up at very short notice to take down and remove a dead tree from my mother's home in Pacific Grove, CA prior to an imminent severe storm. They showed up at the home within 2 hours of contact to assess, and then within 2 days to take the tree down. They removed the stump, leveled the ground, and took away all of the pieces of the tree, leaving my mom's yard pristine! We recommend them highly and will definitely call on Lopez Tree Service again, should the need arise. Folks, Lopez Tree Service is the real deal.

I’ve used Lopez Tree Service for quite a few years. They are competitively priced and have the knowledge & expertise to handle any kind of job. They did a great job cutting down an old decayed oak tree that was entwined in electric wires. After they were all done, the area was left spotless. Plus they were able to save some ferns that were growing on the tree!

I am a Property Manager in Monterey, I use Rodiguez for all my needs as they are the most responsible and responsive in the area. There have many times where they worked with me on a price we both were satisfied with! Every time I call they are able to address my issue right away, if for whatever reason they can't do the job I request they find me someone who can!
