I called Golden State Mechanical yesterday after my AC stopped working. Another company had already told me the unit was completely done and needed to be replaced, so I was expecting the worst.

Albert came out quickly and was originally just supposed to give me a quote. Instead, he took the time to actually look at the unit, diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed in about 15 minutes.

I honestly couldn’t believe it. No upsell, no pressure—just straight honesty and solid work.

This was easily one of the best service experiences I’ve had. I’ll definitely be using Golden State Mechanical going forward and recommending them to anyone who needs HVAC work.

I am a repeat customer , but decided to leave review this time. I have always received consistently great service. Owner and employees are very professional and knowledgeable, and have always fixed any problems or issues with my AC unit. I recommend this business.

My family member bought a house that had recently had a new coil installed with a 5 year warranty. The coil was installed incorrectly causing a leak in the roof. The following summer, the problem was discovered and Golden State refused to do it correctly. They wanted to charge $90 per hour plus labor and "truck" time to come out and fix a problem they created. Exactly what people fear when they call a repairman!

They saved us from having another horrible day with no air!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable gentlemen. Reasonable pricing. We are calling them out once it’s time to service our heater and keeping them on speed dial for our cooler!

The owner, Albert Rodriguez, personally installed a Daikin mini-split system. He was quite knowledgeable and amiable and did an excellent job and the system performs perfectly! I am highly satisfied with the professional service.

I called to set up an appointment and was told they would be here the following day between noon and 3:00 p.m. I waited until 3:45 and called the office and was informed that she would find out why they hadn't come yet. 5 minutes later I got a call back, the crew was still at another job and would not be coming. So if I hadn't called, would they have called me? Better communication and customer service would of been appreciated. I would of understood if I would have been informed. I was offered another appointment but refused, who knows if they would show up or even call me again. Tonight it is expected to get into the thirties and I have no heat.

They helped get my heater running like was supposed to be. Called them and were quick to respond and come every time. My heater would turn on when it wanted to. Albert fixed what another guy from another company couldn't. He made my family and I feel like we were not going to be let down and taken care of until the job was done. They kept on having to come to find the right time to catch the problem, coming multiple times.

I called Albert with a question about an apt to have my cooler looked at. He said he was on his way. He helped us cool down. I was very impressed with promptness and a caring attitude. I will definitely be keeping in contact as I will need a new unit. Thank you Albert. -Melisa

I called Albert last week, got a very good estimate, he started as planned and he and his assistant Carlos finished within the time frame he suggested. The removal and install of the HVAC equipment were dealt with in a professional manner and I am very satisfied with the price and overall process. THANK You to Albert and Carlos!!!!
