We had a project to repair water damage (rotten wood) to an over -the-garage deck and fix some drainage issues (due to the fact that our neighbor, after 20 years decided he didn’t want underground drainage pipe on his property). The deck had a fiber glass coating and we decided to have the deck hot mopped and tiled in travertine stone. Eli gave us a detailed quote for the project. They started on the project very quickly and finished quickly ( about 3 weeks) Hexagon had workers at the house every day and on one occasional stayed very late. We are very happy with the job that Hexagon did. Water was drained back through the crawl space of the house and down to the street gutter. The travertine stone looks great and the tiling work was exceptional. They even applied a protective coating to the stone which I understand is important for stone maintenance. Eli kept in touch with me every step of the process and along the way some of the details were worked out with me. Positive experience here and well worth the spend. Even though Hexagon’s qoute was higher (partly due the drainage work which not in the other quotes), the extra was worth it to have the job done professionally, on-time and quickly executed. Hexagon is the real deal, we do not have hesitation to recommend them.

We had such a good experience with Hexagon. Eli is so personable and does fantastic work. Most of all he is reliable! There were no questions as to what he was doing and when. He communicated with us the whole way through. We already referred him to our neighbor. From the time we met Eli to the time both ours and our neighbors roof was finished it was only one week. I whole heartedly recommend this company. Say hi to Eli for me!

Update:
I change my mind. They came out to install a new hot water heater for us less than a year ago. There were about 5 guys here. It took them 5 hours! They were not plumbers. That was clear. The pipes have been knocking every time we shut off the hot water. We were not able to address the issue for months due to some personal issues. We had a plumber come today to check out what the problem was. He looked and let us know that none of the install was up to code. There were about 7 different things that were done wrong. We are very lucky that nothing happened because our water heater is on the second floor. I’m sure he would guarantee the work but why would I call him and his “crew” out again? I’m very disappointed. I would think he would want to keep a good reputation. He’s a very nice guy. He just needs to hire people that know what they are doing.

I will say that he did bail us out when our rain gutter was falling off during the wind and rain last year. He was here in an hour taking it down and didn’t charge. For that I am impressed with his customer service.

Working with Eli was fantastic. Very professional, timely and did what he said. Didn’t have to chase him down like I did with other contractors in the past . This is a one stop shop . I highly recommend his contracting work to anyone that needs a true professional. The work done was excellent.

We recently entrusted Hexagon Construction to do a variety of repair and remodeling work around our house and I’m pleased to say that the results exceeded our expectations!

After meeting with a myriad of different companies, we chose to move forward with Hexagon because of the owner, Eli Vankin. He took the time to listen to what we were trying to achieve, then designed a plan to meet our goals within our budget and timeframe.

Our project included: 1) attic insulation removal/upgrade, 2) pantry shelves design/installation, and 3) laundry room redesign. With each project, Eli and his different crews worked diligently to complete the jobs to our total satisfaction while staying within a reasonable 30-day timeframe.

Hexagon (and Eli) deserve 5-stars all around. We’ll use them again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest, top-level construction firm with wide ranging expertise!

We had been considering solar for our home for some time and I had done in-depth research, taking bids from multiple companies. Ultimately, we selected Hexagon primarily because their owner/principle, Eli, took the time to meet with us several times, walk us through the details of the project and answer all of our questions (sometimes the same questions more than once!).

Eli is very knowledgeable and thorough, his patience and dedication to getting us comfortable with the work they would be doing, the steps/timeline involved, costs, materials, etc. etc. is a testament to the importance of knowing your customer and providing actual customer service.

The job itself went smoothly and Eli’s crew were also knowledgeable, respectful, and professional while at our home.

Also, to note, barring a couple uncontrollable weather delays, once started, the end-to-end process from prep to installation, inspection, and permission to operate, followed the timeline that Eli laid out upfront. This is of key significance to me because in dealing with many contractors/projects over the years, often, the timelines provided can be overly optimistic and/or not fully thought through, so that fact that Eli gave concise estimates and actually delivered on them, that goes a long way in my book, separating Hexagon’s capabilities and trustworthiness from the rest of the pack.

I Hired Hexagon to complete my exterior remodel and It was the best contractor experience I have ever had. Eli took on stucco, paint, completed projects in mid flight and every step of the way we discovered changes to the scope and Eli made adjustments, and was fair and professional. His team was excellent and professional. At the end it was discovered I could save with energy rebates and we upgraded the solar too. I cannot be happier with all aspects of this project. My house roof (20+ years old) recently had an entire pitch/section of roofing material missing after these wild CA winds January 2025. During this time, I was stuck working very long shifts helping with the local CA fires and was not able to be in-person at my home to handle the newly damaged roof. Hexagon Construction, and specifically Eli, worked with me to make sure the roof was repaired, water-tight, and shingles matched/blended right into the existing roof that remained. Even though my repair was smaller in comparison to much larger jobs Hexagon Construction handles, Eli made me feel like my repair was just as important and just as much of a priority to him and the company. The last huge rain and wind in the high desert revealed all kinds of leaks in my roof. I knew, I had to get it repaired before the next rain to come. I had no clue where to look. I had called several roofing companies, and they never followed through. They were very flaky and a waste of my time. I am not sure how Eli got my number, but he called me and after I interrogated him on the phone, trying to determine if he was worthy enough to come see my property he had all the right answers to my questions. I scheduled an appointment and what a blessing! Eli is honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Eli explained the process and was there every step of the way. I had his company Hexagon repair my roof and with no regrets. His crew did amazing work, and I am so grateful that I found his company. The roof work was finished a day before the rain and absolutely no leaking! The solar company I had damaged over 100 of my roof tiles and went out of business, shame on them. Thank you Hexagon for bringing peace and no worry back to my home! I will sing your praises and thank you so much for your honesty and your quality workmanship. If you need solar use Hexagon a roofing and solar expert. They understand and will not damage your roof. Roofers should be your solar company, solar companies are not roofers.
