Hired Shane to install recessed lights in all of our room. His team did a great job and even gave us a courtesy safety inspection as a bonus. I hope this review helps his company even just a little bit because it is hard to trust services with zero yelp reviews. Thank you Shane and team!

I have a very old floor table lamp that I received from my parents after they passed. It stopped working so I contacted Point Break Electric.
I explained the problem and texted close-up pictures of the lamp. I did find a similar table lamp at Lamp Plus for $150.
After reviewing the pictures and the details of my electrical problems, Shane recommended buying the lamp from Lamps Plus because it would not be cost effective for him to fix it. He said he didn’t want me to waste my money.
I didn’t have a lot of money to get it fixed so I appreciated the honesty & integrity of Point Break Electric letting me know that it would cost quite a bit more to fix it than it would to replace the lamp.

Shane came to my buisness, showed up professional with such a positive demeanor , and spilled an incredible amount of knowledge on me. I had 3 other companies out , and I chose Point break to come out based on a similar situation they had in one of their reviews. 3 other well know companies come out to troubleshooting my electrical issue as a half of my commercial
Buisness lights were out and a quarter of my interior outlets / power. These other companies couldn’t find the problem and still charged me a repair fee on top of the troubleshooting!! Saying “ohhhh it probably a bad breaker, let’s replace this 2 pole breaker “ and the other company saw burning and just installed a new main breaker and moved it to a spot that wasn’t burnt. “At time I was unaware you couldn’t do that “ . Also know these guys didn’t even come up with a solution to my problem. Point Break Came out and they were extremely quick, troubleshooting the panel and opening all interior outlets and just barely past an hour these guys found (2) different problems!!!! That these other people didn’t come close to finding, which shocks me because how well known these companies are and they charge so much. Probably because they send out there apprentices cause they are bigger company. But shane told me that my main breaker bussing got burnt and the previous people put a new breaker on another buss bar right above the burnt one, which he informed me you can not do period!!! And broke down the reason why you can not. And he was right because that breaker they installed got burnt not even a week later. Shane also found an open connector inside the lighting which was another separate problem! Point break repaired ny burnt panel and fixed my lighting situation and now everything works perfect!!!!
Don’t waste your time and money like I did. Point Break I would highly recommended for your electrical and electrical issues!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Shane, and team at Point Break Electric! You are a lifesaver! Our 22 year old electric water heater went out. When the plummer went to take out the old water heater, he noticed that the wiring caps were melted. Then when he hooked up the electrical it sparked really bad and he said the wiring at the water heater was not good and we needed to call an electrician. I reached out to a few local electricians, and one of the first business to call me back Point Break Electric. Shane got back to me right away , and after I explained our situation (that we had been without hot water for over a week and needed help with the electrical) he made a special trip down to our house at 9:00pm after working on a job almost an hour away from us. He assessed our situation and gave us a quote on a safe, cost effective, solution. We were so happy. He was also able to fit us into his schedule a day and a half later. Him and his partner rewired the wiring to our water heater and added a breaker box between the old wiring and the new. I can not thank them enough for helping us and making us a priority. I am so happy with the work provided and the customer service. I can't wait to take a hot shower!!! 😊

Shane was very knowledgeable and definitely went above and beyond explaining things as he was working on panel amp breaker replacement. He even checked outlets from house connected to breaker after replacement to make sure no future issues with actual wiring

Point Break Electric AWESOME! Shane is very easy to talk to. They changed out the hard wire connection of the old stove to the plug in connection on the new stove. They were quick. I had them comeback few days later to work on a junction box in the garage. I will be calling them back later for more projects. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS!!

After dealing with Shane and AB from Point Break Electric, I would never ask anyone else to do electrical work around my house. Called Shane for a popped breaker in a home I just bought and he showed me not only how breakers in the electrical panel were melting, but also how the bus bar was beginning to blow piece by piece. Shane stayed past midnight to get and install a new panel, missing time with his fiancé on Valentines Day! I also just had Shane and AB remove a couple of illegal electrical outlets installed by the previous owner and replace them with outlets up to code. They really take pride in their work and love what they do. On top of it all, they're a couple of really good dudes. Highly recommend!

My appliances were acting up, my washer outlet lost power, and I heard sizzle noises coming from the breaker box in my home. I sent out inquiries for an electrician in my area to 4 places, and Point Break Electric responded first and offered to set an appointment right away. Shane with Point Break Electric was great. He came to look at my condo’s breaker box, which I knew had at least one fried breaker, and Shane explained what was happening, what was needed, gave me options, and answered all my questions. My condo building was built in the 80’s and most of what was in the electric panel was from that time. Shane was very knowledgable and professional, and was able to set me up with an electric panel upgrade the same day. I really appreciate the help and I’m so glad I have a safe, updated electrical panel system that will last me decades.
