Nick arrived this afternoon and installed our chandelier but it was not flushed to the ceiling. He indicated he could only use the original kit from chandelier instead of the recessed converter kit I had.

Nick agreed to return this evening around 5:45 PM with the proper material(s) he needs to make adjustment to the chandelier but he never showed up.

However, Nick called me at 5:11 PM and stated, he was running behind, due to an emergency he had on another job. He stated, he will back to my house at around 7:30 PM.

At 9:30 PM I tried calling Nick to see if he was coming but the cellphone he called me from was disconnected.

I paid ACE Store, as Nick requested and got shafted. He really appeared to be a nice guy.

I guess I will have to follow with the store in the morning.

Excellent customer service. Starting from the first phone call I made, to the service man that came out. Definitely recommend Ace Hardware and will use them again.

Tyler was friendly and helpful and did a good job cleaning the gutter and fixing the flashing on the garage. I will be calling again!

Tyler was quick and efficient! His work fixing a window and hanging a few things was exactly as requested, and done perfectly. And he’s a nice guy!

I wish my experience was as good as the ones I read. My repair had a lot of hiccups - the handyman was an hour late, they had the wrong address, and one of the repairs he said he couldn’t do (even though when making the appointment on the phone, they said they could). However, the repair was okay.

No discount was offered to me for all the inconveniences. That left me a bit more disappointed. And $185 just to switch out a faucet seems a bit pricey to me - I could see if he was able to complete both jobs then it’d be worth it. But 1 small job with multiple inconveniences is not worth that price.

I personally will not be using Ace Hardware for their handyman services for future needs. The tech was nice though and he cleaned up his area thoroughly.

Andrew was the person who did my work. He arrived promptly and was extremely knowledgeable ,friendly and professional. I would recommend this service and I will use them again. Love the store also, they have everything you’d need to do home improvement jobs and also gardening items, which is my thing! The guys that work in the store have answered a lot of questions for me and shown me how to do things that I knew nothing about!

Great service! Tyler and his assistant made quick work replacing my 2 toilets with new ADA compliant toilets. Cleaned up when finished. Thanks for the great service!

Tyler was very friendly and professional...he fixed everything...I have other jobs I will be needing done and I would like him to come back .

I think it’s a ripoff! $225.00 to put a new $40.00 smoke alarm in that took less than 10 minutes. I didn’t mind the $65.00 service charge, but the $120.00 for labor, I thought was a little much!!
I will definitely NOT be calling Tyler or ACE Handyman again

Thank you for assigning Nick to fix my sprinklers. He is very knowledgeable, professional and transparent, and was thorough in his troubleshooting so as to provide me an accurate estimate. He works fast, is organized and ensured I was happy with his work. I will ask for him personally from this point forward as he represents Ace Hardware well! For years, what set your company apart from the big box stores were the employees! Always friendly and remembered your name! And they seemingly cared about you, hence earning your trust. Nick has definitely earned mine.

Service tech was good, he came earlier for appt and made contact with us prior to arriving- we actually had the battery in the wrong way so we didn't need to change out the unit. We will use your services in the future if needed.

Patrick did a very good job. He was on time, very professional.

Tyler did an excellent job cleaning up another person’s attempt at caulking. He will also be scheduling me for repairing my back door out to the garage. He is very knowledgeable and cleans up after his work. A job well done.

I called Ace Handyman services and was scheduled with Tyler to mount a TV and check for a water leak under the house. Tyler was on-time, and got the job done, all questions were answered. Good news, I do not have a water leak and my tv is sitting straight on the wall. Thank you Tyler!

Called for service regarding a leak under the house. After finally locating issue. I paid the initial service fee that was to be credited towards the work done afterwards.

Never received another phone call, follow up or quote for the work that needed to be performed.

I WOULD NOT recommend this company for any kind of work related service. ZERO follow through and horrible work ethic. What a terrible way of doing business.

Needed assistance with a clogged shower drain and two grab bars. Excellent job although the shower drain remained clogged. I was not charged for the second visit to try to unclog the drain. Both service techs were kind and courteous. Special stars to Tyler!
