Prior to contacting Ace about my fence installation project, I'd already received two estimates from two well-established contractors. But I contacted Ace for a third estimate just to make sure I wasn't missing a better value. When Ace finally got around to getting back to me, I was directed to speak with a manager who was openly disinterested in me or my project. He asked me to send him photos, which I did almost immediately, including very clear descriptions in the file names. Next thing I know, he (or rather, the office manager) sends me an email with a so-called estimate that has nothing more than a single bottom-line figure—no itemization whatsoever. It didn't even list the linear footage. And on top of that, the figure they come back with is $9,000, which is d o u b l e the estimate I got from the two other companies who specialize in fence installations. Then on top of that, when I respond to disapprove of all this, it takes several days for Ace to reply, and it was the office manager and not even the manager who responded. And on top of that, the office manager gives me little more than a disingenuous "I'm sorry you feel that way," and when I call her out on it, she plays the victim saying "WOW," insisting she was being genuine when she apologized for how I feel. I told her "Wow" is my line in this situation. 😆 Update: Now read Ace's response—see how they keep playing the victim? Thanks for proving my point. You're the best. 😆

Ace asked Tyler if he could work me in today after I called yesterday for an electrical issue I had with a washer plug. He took a break from another job he was working on and came and fixed the issue completely. Appreciate the good work on short notice. It wasn't the first time I've used the Ace Handyman service and it certainly won't be the last. Good people here

Tyler did a good job and my solar panels are nice and shiny again. He was also able to replace a broken sprinkler for me. As always he was friendly and courteous.

Very personable and great customer service! I needed security doors asap and they were able to do it the same day I came in to request them to be installed! It truly means a lot that they were concerned for my safety and were able to provide their service right away.

Ace Handyman was easy to work with when I needed someone to make repairs to the bathroom. I put in a request online and sent photos via email. I received a call later that day to book an appointment. Nick came out and was fantastic. Very professional and got the job done. I will definitely use again.

Tyler showed up a little early if not right on time for my appointment. He was very clean, non-disruptive to what I had going on, kept the mess to a bare minimum, showed me the cause of the problem before he fixed it, and finished up in a short period of time leaving no mess for me to clean up!

I am disappointed in the Handyman management staff. I have been trying to get a qoute for a couple months but the do not return calls. I finally found the request a qoute on line which I used. Still no call back. I went in to talk to someone and was told a person would called the next day. Instead a man showed up while I was gone and left without leaving any info on who it was. I just want an attic door installed from my garage to my attic so I can have the 8nsulatuon removed and spray foam installed. Now they want to charge me $65.00 for a person to come out and give me a estimate. I have never paid a fee for a estimate before?? As it is probable a fire rated wall the access needs to be fire rated also. They are now saying that they think I have to get a permit to get the door installed. That is there job. I have used them before several years ago and the Craftsmen are good but this new management seems to not be familiar with code requirements. Looks like I will call a couple of other handyman to get my door installed.

Nick Peavy, did a very good job stopping the leakage from around the sink drain. He was efficient and knowledgable and a very pleasant fellow to talk with about our problem. The drain leakage was fixed by an ACE employee in August but we have had increasing leakage which culminated this week in flooding our cabinets. Nick diagnosed the problem quickly and went to ACE Hardware to get a drain and installed it. It was done quickly and fits well, with no sign of leakage. I highly recommend him based on our experience.

The two technicians were here on time, did a great job of installing my awning And took all of the packaging and other items with them when they left. Wonderful service!

I appreciated his attention to details. He listened and responded appropriately. Dealing with the installation of a large artificial Christmas tree went very smoothly. When he left the tree was in place, lights ( including the Angel topper) on and ready to decorate. Well done!

First time using ACE Handyman Services and it was overall a great experience! Brandon listened well to my request and was able to get Nick assigned to help take care of my washer waterline faucets to install the outlet box so that i have more space to push my washer back closer to the wall. Nick is great to work with! He made my day and got it all done quick! He is very personable, communicative, and professional. I will definitely be reaching out to ACE and requesting Nick for future home projects. I'm so happy with their deliverable.
