I cannot recommend Funtes Builders enough! They did a massive backyard project and interior work for me.

As a general contractor, they exceed all expectations. From start to finish, they were very professional, always delivering top-quality work with unmatched attention to detail. What impressed me the most was their dependability and diligence – Walter is a true problem solver who takes on challenges with ease and finds smart solutions. One example is my deck where they installed every single board at a particular time in the morning with similar temperature over a course of the week so they all expand and contracted together. Also the transition between deck and pavers is impeccable.

Timeliness is another strength. Their response times were quick, and they were always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. Not only are they highly skilled, but they’re also a pleasure to work with – helpful, good-natured, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Having done enough remodels, I am safely say that it is hard to find someone with such strong work ethics, I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience and would like to recommend Funtes Builders for their professionalism, skill, and a great team.

Miguel built an ADU unit for us in Los Altos and despite the strict city rules, with his knowledge and skills he was able to get pass all hurdles we faced in the duration of the project. Miguel is very very skilled, knowledge, punctual, honest, easy to work with, flexible, very reliable and responsive and resourceful. His quote was also very reasonable compared to other quotes I received and he did not try to squeeze every penny out of me when it came to additional work. He has a great team for plumbing and electric that work to the same standards are Miguel. Miguel is a wonderful person to work with who has great ethics and I am so lucky to had found him for my project. Despite his very busy schedule, he will date responds to every call of mine and comes and fixes minor things that happen with the ADU. I highly recommend Miguel for any project you have as he is an asset and will absolutely do a wonderful job!

We have worked with Bueno Builders for almost 20 Years! And after creating not one but two homes for us, we consider tham a part of our family!!! The first project was our beautiful Brand New Parisian style townhome in downtown Los Altos on 2nd street. Bueno Builders did amazingly detailed carpentry all around the duplex, especially the gorgeous open kitchen as well as the 3 beautiful bathrooms. The home was stunning and their work is PERFECTION! This is a lot coming from a household of perfectionist :). The second Home was a 50 year old ReModel in Los Altos Hills which Bueno Builders helped us turn it into the most charming French Country Home. They solved problems which everyone said its impossible, they were kind and positive after long days and stressful situations, and again they worked with such perfection that I have only seen rarely in Silicon Valley. We also remodeled a home in Carmel Valley with other builders so we very much have experience with other builders, contractors and crews.... In our second Home, Bueno Builders did several projects for us a decade apart. The first being a magnificent remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms, redoing all the inside doors, and even some remodel in the master. A decade later, they transformed our old and tired outdoor space into the most cozy and elegant French/Italian Style patio. Again tough stressful constraints, and never once experienced anything but positivity and creativity from Bueno Builders!!!!

I would like to give this company a 5 star rating but communication with Vanessa and Gerardo has been non-existent after the final payment was made and very limited during bathroom remodel process.
The remodel was done to my specs and initial conversations were very productive. I had specific needs for a disabled access bathroom and shower and final job was exactly what I requested, workers were friendly and clean and willing to work around our access and use of attached master bedroom. I would happily give the remodel a great rating because we are still excited every time we see and use our new bathroom!
I just requested a final billing statement, for tax purposes, many times over the last several months without so much as one response from the owners. All emails, texts and phone calls went unanswered. Maybe this review will get a response.

We've brought in Carlos/Geraldo for several projects, and they have been great each time. From complete Master Bedroom/Bathroom remodels to refinishing drywall in our "gym" (converted part of the garage) it has all been done to great quality and value. I recommend them without hesitation to friends and family and can't be happier we've finally found an honest and reliable contractor.

The largest project to date was an update to a 1970s bed/bathroom. Basically a complete gut job that moved plumbing, electrical, installed wall/ceiling tiles (huge 4'x2' on the floor), added several new windows (shear walls updated to code), wall hung toilet, pocket door, new floors, baseboards, moldings, you name it, we did it.

The master suite is completely unrecognizable and we get compliments on their work all the time.

We worked with BlueJay Nest construction to remodel two small bathrooms. They worked quickly and diligently to get the job done and we were very pleased with the results. The crew was hard working and prompt and Vanessa and Gerardo did a great job managing the project. It was our first remodel and we had a lot to learn and several missteps in the process but Blue Jay worked with us in good faith to address issues. Highly recommend them for remodel needs.

We needed a quick remodel of our bathroom so we could list our house and found Bluejay on Neighborhood. We called after hours: Vanessa and Gerardo visited us the very next day, gave us a quote hours later and then completed the remodel, start to finish, in about two weeks. After hearing our preferences, it was so easy: they shopped the tiles, vanity, fixtures, shower doors, medicine cabinet, lights, fan, and paint and then brought the samples to us for selection or approval. Besides the flawless communication, what really impressed me about Bluejay was their crew. They showed up on time every day and worked diligently. As you would expect, there were different crew members for demo, tile, plumbing, electrics, etc. And even though the project was completed so very fast, the quality was still superb. That's why we couldn't be more satisfied and are willing to write this glowing review.

Vanessa and Gerardo were very swift in getting us a quote and were very professional and could meet us at a very short notice. Vanessa was able to answer all our questions patiently over multiple meetings and calls despite being extremely busy. We highly recommend them.

Great store for all your Do It Yourself work!

Went there to check out kitchen cabinets. The service I got from their in store designer was generally good. But he also showed racism comments about competitors and labor workers.

Took bid on Water heater replacement. The service rep was excellent with options and suggestions. Did not hire as I received several bids. $$$$ was the main, but I'm an HP member, shop here weekly .
