Handyman connection helped us to remove an outdoor structure and dispose of it. The quote and comms were all quick over text and call and once scheduled the team did a clean job of removing the structure. There was a delay in removing the debris due to them having a trailer issue, but they kept me posted and eventually just cut down the wood to take it away in a smaller truck. Overall, while it took a bit longer, they did a great job of keeping me posted and finishing up.

I just want to give a HUGE Shout-out. Jake, Henry and Arlene and Liz. What an AMAZING TEAM!!! Great job all the way around!!! They all care about their customers and will get the job done!!! Great place and excellent people to hire!!! If you’re looking for an honest company that will charge you a fair price? Get the job done? Look no further!!! You found them!! Henry? I have a great overall experience with Handyman Connection of Mountain View. Ever since my original request for service, George has been very patient in explaining and answering my questions to clarify my doubts. He is upfront and professional. On the service date Richard came over and he’s also very professional and courteous. He’s very good at what he’s doing. Eventually he’s able to use the original lock of my sliding door with the pet door addition. I highly recommend their service.

Now the hard part: train my cat to use the door…

We were very happy with the work accomplished and the workers. They were professional, showed up when promised.
We were not happy with the communication with the main office. It was difficult reaching the person coordinating the project, and calls were not returned in a timely manor. The last day of the project was scheduled for a Thursday but I was not contacted confirming that Thursday was approved. It was and both workers arrived on the scheduled day,
The quality of the work and the workers were five star.
Billing was not communicated well. The first day we had two workers for eight hours and billed for eight hours. The second day we had two workers for four hours, and billed for eight hours. The final bill was not clearly defined as days or hours worked since the two workers worked half a day.

It's an extremely frustrating experience communicating with this company. It's not like one phone call as they said in the introduction. You call and they took all your information including first, last name, address etc. Then they assign a project manager who won't provide you a direct phone number for you to call. Then they ask you for your project details on the phone even an appointment was scheduled. Then they kept calling when you were not able to pick up. When you call them back, they absolutely have no clue who you are and what your project is about. I don't have time to waste playing phone tags with this company. Don't waste your time.

A couple of months have passed since I've had my broken cabinets repaired. Handyman Connections did an excellent job. The cabinets are heavily used and with the passage of time, their repair work is still solid. Good job, good people.

I had two pre-hung doors installed. Front door and kitchen to garage. The installer Louis was polite, professional, and a great commicator.

Both doors quietly close with ease. We love the installation.

You'll notice that on the front door (pictured), there needs to be touch-up around the casing, but I excluded this from the scope since we plan on doing this ourselves and painting the door.

I can’t say enough good things about “Handyman Connection of Mountain View”. They did an incredible job building a custom-made bench for my husband’s birthday, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. Their communication was clear throughout the process, they addressed every question or concern I had, and their professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. The final result is absolutely stunning, and they delivered it right on time. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone. Truly outstanding craftsmanship and service!

My experience with this bathroom remodel was frustrating. The workmanship was inconsistent, and several finishing details were overlooked. Paint was uneven, and the shower door was not fitted correctly. Customer service was slow to respond to concerns. Considering the cost and timeline, the outcome was disappointing and not worth the investment.

Dairain did a great job with the electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects. He checked with us on the options and worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner.

Kaminsky Care and Repair did several jobs for us recently. Job #1 - Our outdoor spiral staircase and upper deck needed a serious "facelift". There were many areas of rust that needed attention and the railings needed to be filled in where they had chipped. It definitely looks a whole lot better now! I just wish a little more care was taken to prevent dripping of the paint!
Job #2 - The lights for our patio cover needed to be connected to power. It sure is nice to have lights outside now.
Job #3 - Four lighted bathroom mirrors needed to be connected electrically and then hung. The power sources were readily available and required lots of steps, including a trip to the attic. In one bathroom, the wall had to be cut, which was then sheetrocked and repainted. Although the mirrors all look great, a little more care was needed to avoid sheetrock ending up in the sink. Now that the paint has dried, it could probably use a further touchup.
Overall, I don't have a problem with the work. However, their infrastracture needs serious help! Their business model sounds good on the outset, but does not work efficiently for the consumer. No one comes out to look at the job and do an estimate. I sent a series of pictures and gave an honest description of the extent of the job (as a non-professional). Our deck project was slated to take only 1 day (it ended up taking 4) and the "$100.00 of materials" was closer to $300.00). Once they send a worker over, they look at the job and have to first go to the store to get supplies. Yes, they bring back the receipt, but a markup is included. Jobs are estimated to take much less time than the reality. If work is not completed on the same day, it is not very easy to have the same staff member come back the next day. You need to be able to turn your own schedule around to accomodate theirs if additional days are needed. It definitely was frustrating at times working with this company. In the end though, I have new light up mirrors, lights outside, and a deck/staircase that is not showing many signs of rust.

Celso was great! We scoped-out the project together, agreed on a plan-of-action, and did a trial on one section of flashing. The result was not to Celso's standards and we agreed the original plan would not work. So, we changed gears and I asked Celso to just remove the rotted flashing, and I would either leave the foundation as-is or paint it. Celso was efficient, professional, and a great ambassador for Kaminskiy. I will definitely consider Kaminskiy for more home repair/care projects.

Ray Trejo did an excellent job repairing a wall for me. He was punctual, professional, efficient, and friendly. And, the job price was very reasonable. I will definitely be requesting Ray at Kaminskiy Care and Repair Handyman Services the next time I need wall repair, and/or other handyman repair services.

My HVAC system had been running frequently but the temperature still felt uneven. A technician came to inspect the system and check the airflow. They explained what they were looking for during the inspection. The entire process felt very organized and professional. After the adjustments and cleaning, the system performed much better. The airflow now feels more balanced throughout the house.
