I used Golden Oak for the first time as my regular tree trimmer was unavailable and I was under a deadline. I have to admit I was a little nervous going with a new company, but Golden Oak was not only super responsive (they came over and gave me an estimate the day I contacted them, and were on the job the next day!) but also did an excellent trim. I can really see the shape of my tree again, and everything is even. Two of my neighbors complimented me on the work immediately. Highly recommend Golden Oak!

Juan and his team were great. They have been trimming my trees for years. I decided to leave this review finally because Juan took on a job at my house that turned out to be much more than he expected but he stuck to his original price and took care of it. That means a lot to me. Most would have up charged or walked away.

Juan & Golden Oak tree service crew are tops! Trimmed & shaped several trees in our yard professionally & explained every step to us. They left the yard tidier than it was before they started. Highly recommend this company.

Complete disregard for the ordinances.
Lack of care where falling branches landed to harm driveway and hillside.
They need fines and perhaps license revoked.

Crew was professional and so kind to my son. Positive experience all around. I would recommend them to anyone who needs fast and efficient work on their trees. They worked around my kids trampoline and playset.

This company is inconsiderate and violates constuction and noice ordinance laws. It is 6 am and they are dumping and unloading. This has happened for months. Make sure to utilize a good company aware of the laws.

This company is great. I had a tree emergency and Juan came out within an hour of my call and provided a quote. His team was out here first thing next morning and knocked out the work quickly. The crew and reps are highly professional, courteous and efficient. They have their own trucks and don’t sub-out the work. I plan to hire them again and again.

By far one of the best services I have received in the past few years. Jason from Golden Oak Tree Service. showed up only an hour after I called for an estimate. His price, availability and attention to details of the project convinced me to accept right away and have him start the project the very next day. His crew surpassed my expectation and did an amazing job while following all the safety measures. I have already scheduled them for another property of mine. hands down the BEST!!!!

About 8 months ago, I asked for quotes for trimming a giant ash tree in the back yard. The Golden Oak Tree Service quote was right in the middle of the pack but they were the most reasonable. We had some financial issues that popped up and we were waiting on a neighbor to replace the rear fence, so we postponed it. The tree then was rather barren as it was very hot.

Fast forward to last week. Our refinance went through, we are prepping for a new roof and need to get the tree trimmed because it is thick with dead branches and tons of greenery due to the rains. I called around to see about getting new quotes and talked with Golden Oak about my previous quote. They came out to look on Monday about an hour after I called them, and despite the difference between the barren tree and the full tree, the old quote of 2250$ was only increased to 2400$. They were off to Malibu on Wednesday for brush clearance after the recent fires and had a single day window for Tuesday. I accepted.

They were on-site at 745am the next morning and got to work. Crew of 10-12, with climbing gear and a big truck with a chipper. Not only did they do an impressive job, they did it quick and with little issue. They trimmed a few large branches that were overhanging powerlines and other neighbor's yards, and followed requests to not top the tree (since it was shaped properly already). I am extraordinarily happy with their work, and their communication, their speed, and safety. They even brought the invoice to a separate location for payment when I was unable to be at home the next day. Will definitely be using their service again.

They handled several huge trees with care and professionalism, and we were so impressed we had them back the next day for brush clearance on our hillside. Great communication, fair pricing, and a big crew that worked hard both days. They even managed traffic on our narrow street to keep things running smoothly. Highly recommend!

George and his crew came on time and they were very thorough. They removed everything that I asked them to plus more, cleaned up and left my backyard spotless. I Highly recommend Golden Oak tree service to all.

I just spent $1500 removing an illegal dump of garbage mulch from Golden Oak Tree Service.
The request was for wood chips via Chip Drop and they claimed to be Roy's Trees. They dumped palm tree waste and blocked a public road and my car--creating a safety hazard and terrible inconvenience for me and the elderly disabled neighbor further up the street. There was no access to my driveway or her house around the massive mounds of organic waste.

It took two full trailers to remove the bulk of it and company who hauled it away said it was approximately 6 tons of palm tree waste that should have been taken directly to the landfill. Even now--there is still more waste (at least one ton) that could not fit in the second trailer load.

I reached out to Alex Sandoval who delivered the mulch and he claimed that he could not find anyone to help. The next morning he said he had actually passed off the delivery and my address to some other unknown company so he could meet a deadline.

The pile of mulch tore off the front bumper of my car when I tried to drive alongside it because there were thorny branches buried in the pile. I still have garbage mulch in my driveway. He still won't help me resolve this issue. They are unprofessional scammers trying to avoid disposal fees.

We had a wonderful experience with Golden Oak Tree Service. They were working on our street and we asked for an estimate. Juan came over and gave us a fair estimate. He not only delivered everything he promised but he went above and beyond. I can honestly say that they really made our yard look trim and neat. His crew pushed back all the overgrown trees and also removed a huge dead tree. Juan did not like how our Robelini palms looked and had his guys shape them amazingly. Golden Oak came in with a large crew that knew what they were doing, right equipment and finished the job quickly.
We are very happy with their work and highly recommend them.

Daniel did an amazing job. We had many trees that we needed to remove in order to build a new wall. Daniel and his team quickly removed all the trees and roots for a good price, and after only 1 day of giving us an estimate.

Highly recommended. Worth the rate, resealable price and the job was done professionally. The palm tree that was cut down was above average size too, but they had no trouble handling it. After, the workers cleaned everything up immaculately. Daniel is very easy to communicate with and very polite. Would use this service again.
