We worked with Picture Build to design and build our backyard pergola and modern concrete patio, and we have nothing but great things to say. Honestly, I have been renovating houses since grade school (with my family) and Picture Build is by far the best contractor I have ever hired. They were communicative, respectful, speedy, and meticulous.

Verva worked with us to design the best pergola a Burbank permit could get us, as the city is very particular in its building regulations, and we wanted everything on the up and up. She spent days at the city building tweaking her designs to perfection, above and beyond anything I would have expected. Jorge is a hands-on project manager, cleaning up after his workers and checking on their work every day. Whatever we needed, he was always available, even after the last check was cashed. Picture Build was great! Their team was very professional throughout the entire project. They were flexible when we decided to make little changes to the project and always helpful with recommending the right plants and materials to use. I can't say enough about the team who was at our home working. Everyone was on time, polite and hard working. I am a believer that you get what you pay for....Picture Build might not be the least expensive company....but there's a reason for it. Their work is top notch far exceeded my expectations. Looking to renovate my backyard and install a new paver driveway, I consulted multiple landscaping and paver companies at the Pasadena Home Show. I met with multiple other companies who did not align with my vision, who did not reflect my needs, and gave me inflated quotes. I was then fortunate to connect with Gilian, the Marketing Director at the wonderfully designed Picture Build booth. Gilian's warm and knowledgeable personality instantly drew me in! "Step into my office!" she said with a warm welcoming smile. She asked what I would like to do with my yard and actually listened to my ramblings! Soon after, I met with Design Manager - John Durso and his new hire Anna. John is an incredibly talented and outstanding creative Landscape Designer and really blew me away! Within an hour of our first consultation, John presented a sketch for my backyard renovation and new paver driveway that perfectly captured my vision. Unlike the other companies who failed to understand my needs or budget, John listened intently to what I wanted and respected my budget from the start. His optimistic can-do attitude truly made my days feel brighter whenever we worked together.

After finalizing the contract and approving the designs, the project officially commenced. To ensure a smooth transition, a comprehensive design walkthrough and handoff meeting was conducted in my backyard involving the design team, John and Anna, and the Project Manager, Jorge Flores. Although I was initially hesitant about the transition after having built a good rapport with John and Anna, Jorge put my mind at ease. His profound knowledge of landscaping, and reliability in handling the day-to-day work with his team were exceptional. Jorge demonstrated tremendous patience, confirming design details with me and taking the time to clearly explain aspects and options, and even used spray paint on the ground to provide a helpful visualization of the plans. Together, we successfully navigated a small issue that surfaced post-demolition, ensuring no action was taken without my discussion and approval. Afterwards, John and Anna were looped in to formalize the changes to the conceptual plan and the minimal associated cost, which I was happy to approve.

The professionalism and skillfulness of the entire team was evident throughout this project. In addition to their great work, I deeply appreciate the dedication and energy everyone invested, and I truly value the connections we built along the way. I would especially like to extend a special and heartfelt thanks to the paving team. Their performance was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. They worked tirelessly, to produce results that are both spectacular and exemplary. The quality of their craftsmanship is remarkable, I absolutely could not be happier with how all the pavers all turned out!

Picture Build exceeded our expectations! We had been referred to them by family friends who couldn’t say enough good things. The whole process was great! Dana and Jorge were patient with us as we picked the perfect flagstone, drought tolerant plants, and lighting. The lighting really made it all come together. We can’t wait to use them again for our next project. Would highly recommend Picture Build.

We had an incredible and great experience with picture build. They were very professional and the pricing was very reasonable. The crew were kind and very patient with me and my wife, we are both retired and George the crew chief was patient and very kind. I would 100% recommend the organization to everyone.

Picture Build was an excellent landscaping service. They responded quickly to our inquiry and connected us with an amazing design team who created a beautiful plan for our backyard. They were also transparent and clear and affordable in their pricing scheme and the team that completed the installation was fast and did extremely high quality work. We love our new backyard (we were replacing a pool) and can't wait to see the plants grow! Pictures are before and after.

This was our third project at our home with Picture Build. Once again, we were not disappointed! What was a problem because of the flooding from excessive rain we keep experiencing in our backyard has finally been controlled. It was tested last week when almost two inches of rain fell in 24 hours. The new wall with a culvert and catch basin worked perfectly. Also the new drain in front of the wall is perfect to eliminate all the water that fell in my backyard. In addition, it looks great. Daniel, designer, Paul, the project manager and Shaka along with Shaka’s crew did a fantastic job. Like the our Picture Build employers that worked on our previous projects, they couldn’t have been more professional and extremely nice. Thank you Picture Build!!

We had an amazing experience with Picture Build! Our home is new construction and we were looking to complete our front and back yard in entirety. The first conversations we had with the Picture Build team included discussions on designs, costs and timeline. The team was easy to work with and aligning on the design didn't take much time at all - we had previously meet with a few companies who didn't do the due diligence of making sure our yard was what WE wanted so the efforts made by the Picture Build team were much appreciated. Also they are reasonable AND affordable in terms of cost! The company is fair in the work that they do and how they conduct business. During the design phase and first few walk throughs, Brian the owner of Picture Build joined the team and provided great insight into our yard and design. Jorge was our project manager during the entire process and he made sure everything was not just taken care of but that it was to our liking - he is easy to work with and really went the extra mile!

Once we got going, the Picture Build team sent different teams for the different areas of our yard - this included a custom putting green, a half basketball court with newly poured concrete, custom garden boxes, planting, putting in synthetic grass, lighting through out the front and back yards and pavers in both the front and back yards. The crew was great! Picture Build does a great job sending the right people for the right job - the pavers team was exceptional for example in putting together the front walkway, setting the pavers and make sure our paver design was as expected. The experience was the same for all other areas of our landscaping - a team specializing in concrete, a team focused on synthetic grass and putting greens, etc.

Overall an excellent experience with a team that is professional, courteous, on time and has a reasonable price! I would highly recommend them and would use them hands-down for future projects. Many thanks to Jorge and the Picture Build crew for making this experience a great one for us!

I want to give 10 stars if I can. I had a pool built along with landscape done by PB team and it was an amazing transformation. The entire process is seamless - from design to post-completion walk-through. The entire project was completed under 2 months. The various teams from PB were synced so well with their schedule that there was not a day wasted. My husband and I came in with no idea on permit processes, materials, design, or equipment needs, and PB team took care of them all. Our designer, Dana, helped us narrow down what we like and sourced the materials at the most reasonable prices for us and modified our design to match our vision. The craftsmanship of the construction team is superb!!! A special BIG THANK YOU to our project manager, Paul. We ran into various items and decision-making points and Paul's experience became so valuable. Paul is also very resourceful offering us the best solution - not only affordable but also esthetically stunning. Paul is our to-go person whenever we have any questions. The pool team is also very professional, courteous and on-time. It was such a wonderful experience working with PB team. PB team deserves 10 stars!!!!!

We got off to a great start. Design consultations with Anna were collaborative and inspiring. She listened carefully to my ideas and addressed all of them in her designs. She then arranged a project kick-off walkthrough meeting with the Picture Build project manager to ensure everyone was on the same page. Once the project was complete, Brian scheduled invaluable weekly post-project quality assurance visits during which he made sure I understood how everything worked, confirmed project results matched my expectations, and ensured my satisfaction with every detail.

Throughout, from initial demolition on day #1 to final installation of all hardscapes and plants, the Picture Build crew worked tirelessly and cooperatively. They never missed a workday, they always showed up on time, and they never complained, even in challenging conditions like excessive summer heat, surprise rainstorms, and when neighborhood mosquitoes became particularly ferocious. Team members consistently kept me informed about progress and timelines, answered my questions promptly, and accommodated changes without hesitation. When unexpected issues arose, Picture Build went above and beyond to address them to ensure everything turned out right.

Picture Build has done a great job for our backyard project. We did a full renovation for our backyard involving hardscape, pool and landscaping. We works with Pb’s designer John. Who was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The whole crew works very hard and did fantastic job to complete our project on time without delay. Additionally, Picture Build provides great after sales support that they have replaces many dead plants and fixes couple of minor issues 6 months after!
