I'm not a costumer but I do have something to say. As I was driving this truck came flying towards me they didn't stop until they were a feet or 2 from my car (85848) me having my kids in my car was scary.

Waterproofed planter boxes, built a steel planter and a steel frame for shade canopy, installed custom rock/stone walkways, installed urbanite hardscape, planting and irrigation system, built a custom movable structure for an outdoor kitchen, installed appliances, mosaic work, new decking, and more. All work top-notch. Great crew, excellent communication, fair pricing.

We worked with Dana, Jorge, and Fidel and their crew, and are very pleased with the results. They installed a beautiful paver driveway with stairs and artificial turf for us (turf in the front and back yard). We've already received many compliments from passerbys about the lawn!

Brian Godley (Picture Build) did a fantastic job on our landscaping, and was a pleasure to work with. When we moved into our first house last year the front and backyard needed a total makeover (half-dead lawns courtesy of the drought), plus the driveway was ugly cracked asphalt. We hired Brian (after faithfully checking his references) because he had totally re-landscaped two houses in our neighborhood and we could tell by how they looked that he did real quality work. He explained the different types of hardscape—gravel, mulch, artificial turf—and created a design plan for us. He very patiently went through several re-designs until we settle on what we wanted, which turned out to be a mixture of artificial turf (which we had wanted from the beginning) and drought tolerant plants in mulch. We had originally wanted to replace the driveway with concrete and requested some pretty brickwork like almost all of the houses nearby had. Brian suggested instead that we go with pavers, saying that they would really make the place stand out. He was so right! Ours is the only house with pavers in the neighborhood and it looks really terrific, we’ve gotten tons of compliments on them. He helped us select a color palette that matched the house which was had just had repainted. The workmanship on the driveway as well as a double pathway we had him do out front shows great attention to detail, you can really tell someone took the time and effort to do it right. I love plants and flowers, but I almost love the stonework he did more! Both front and back gardens turned out great. Instead of a regular square of lawn with plants around it, in the front the artificial turf looks more like a wave, an accent among the plants in the mulch. In the back, we wanted to look out and see an expanse of green instead of brown, and the artificial turf gave us that. (Before you do a project like this, you say “fake grass,” but by the end, you’re telling everyone it’s “artificial turf!, don’t you know?”) We even had him put in a hard curb on front of house, because for some odd reason it didn’t have one. He finished the job on schedule, which was fantastic, since so many jobs end up running over the deadline. He used high-end materials, and it shows. We are very happy with the results, and highly recommend Brian and his company Picture Build to anyone who wants to turn their current garden/driveway into something really special to be proud of and to be happy to coming home to every day.

Brian Godley and his crew were great to work with. We couldn't be happier with our pathways and driveway. We got a fair price, great service and a perfect 'no hassle' install from folks who were all very professional. Highly recommend them.

My house was built in 1925 and the brick patio was original. Over the years, settling and the fact that the house is on a hill (with a great view!) had taken a toll on the patio. It was uneven to the point that people easily tripped.

Picture Build came in, removed the old bricks, saved them, leveled the patio, and used the same bricks to replace the now-leveled patio. As part of the job, Picture Build added steps and planter boxes. They removed odd hardscaping that had been added over the years and made the patio a destination area.

Once I could see how beautiful this patio was coming along, I asked them for ideas for another patio on the other side of the house that seemed to be constantly muddy. Their suggestion was artificial turf. Again, another lovely solution. No more mud, and constant greenery that makes it easy to clean up after my dogs.

Ryan is a professional amazing designer. He turned my backyard to a top modern model home . He is full of knowledge in landscaping and hardscaping. He wasn't like any other designer who would sign off the contract and move on, No. Ryan was on top of my project throughout the job duration. He would show up almost everyday just to make sure the project was done correctly even though it wasn't his responsibility. At times he was involved in hardscaping to make sure everything was done as he expected. The 3d design was the actual carbon copy of my current backyard. He did an amazing job. He was extremely prompt with any question or concern. He even responded to my text or calls over the weekend. Extremely professional and honest person. I admire his honesty and dignity. Thank you Ryan for making my dream backyard come true. I have and will refer Ryan to anyone without even thinking twice ! Prior any job start he provided the standard cost with upgrade options. There was no hidden charges. No word can express my gratitude to Ryan. Thank you for being my designer looking forward for future projects.

Carlos Masonry: Carlos you are the most trustworthy professional masonry I have met in my life. He extremely knowledgeable, neat humble person to work with. He is a very skilled and neat masonry. He has a magic trick with his neatness, When you check his job site you see the project is fully completed beyond my expectation without leaving any trace of dust or dirt. You are just amazing!!!!! You are priceless masonry. You are worth to be rewarded for your professionalism. I don't remember a day where he didn't have an answer for my concern or question. I remember how he put his full effort and time to meet his and my expectation in his work. Any company would wish to have a masonry like Carlos. May god give you full strength and health you deserve the best.

Brian owner of picture Build: Man of his word.. Brian= 100% Customer service satisfaction. During big projects there are times where you obligated to contact the owner of the company to share your concern or questions. Brian never hesitated to contact me right away and resolve any issue or concern which arose. What I admire about Brian is he is a great listener. There are times I had called and spoken to him for over 20 minutes continuously without a single interruption. All he did is listen to my concern and responded with professionalism. Brian is about customer service. I could've maybe found and chosen a cheaper company but I decided to go with Brian because of his service. There are many companies out there who might be able to complete the same job but not service. Almost every company at the end of job completion will leave and your calls will remain unanswered. That's not the case with picture build. Even a year after job completion there were some issues which I had to contact picture build. They were extremely prompt and took care of the issue right away. I remember Brian showing up right after project completion to proceed with job walk through and notated everything that didn't meet his expectation and made all the necessary changes. Brian keep up the great work with amazing service. What makes your company picture build stands out is your service. Thank you for everything. PictureBuild did a fabulous job redoing our landscape & hardscape for a 7 unit apartment building. From their design plan to the finished project, all went smoothly. George was very professional and answered any concerns. Everyone that walked by gave positive comments to their work.

Donovan and Pedro have been doing the landscaping maintenance at my restaurant for a little over a year. They have been fantastic. Very helpful, always on time and they make sure I’m happy with the job they are doing. Donovan is always asking if I am happy with the job and I always am. From the beginning when Daniel came to give me the estimate they have been true professionals. Oh, and the price is right!

We had a large backyard project that we were looking to get done before rainy season, or the SoCal equivalent of that 😏. After getting quotes from 7-10 contractors, we landed at PictureBuild & we are glad we did! The quote was one of the more competitive quotes and we ultimately connected well with Daniel, who initially came in and assessed the scope of work.

The crew was here on the day they said they’d start working and early too! That was consistent throughout the 2.5 week project. Jorge was our Project Manager and was very communicative and thorough about asking us exactly what we wanted so there were no surprises. The only surprise was that we ended up having to pay ~15% more than the original quote due to addt’l grading + added concrete that wasn’t initially quoted.

Max and his crew working the project were amazing! Super friendly, respectful, & detailed in their craft. We were legitimately sad they wouldn’t be over daily after the project was done. Kudos to that crew!

All in all, the backyard turned out even better than we had imagined. The whole team was professional, respectful, and honest. I would absolutely recommend them.

My husband and I are first time homeowners of a hillside property. When we bought it there was an undeveloped side of the property that we had a dream of turning into useable space. We researched businesses to make this dream reality and chose Picture Build in part because of a review that talked about the way they handled project problems since all projects of this scope have issues arise. We were fully sold when we met the owner, Brian, and discussed how he runs his company.

Our project started with one of their designers, who had a gift for seeing our not fully formed ideas and negotiating different opinions between a couple. Then came 4 months of hardscaping, including hillside terracing, walls, stairs, beautiful paver craftsmanship, wiring, irrigation, and a water feature. It wrapped with landscaping. All of the teams who came to work were so professional and thorough. Despite all of the moving of dirt and chaos, the project site was always cleaner at the end of the day than before we started. And any time we had questions or concerns, our project manager was there to help.

Now a little over a year from the start of the project, we start every morning sitting out here looking at the amazingly mature gardens and watching the birds who come to feast on the flowers and drink from the fountain. Everyone who has been to the house remarks on the beautiful space. We highly recommend the team at Picture Build for your project.

I talked to Brian about getting my backyard done within my budget. He came over the next day and gave me the quote and worked out the plans based on my ideas. We scheduled the weekend after and it was done within 2-3 days just like he promised. I was surprised how well it turned out! I had talked to 2 other people before, the prices given to me was much higher. Picture Build offered the reasonable price for my needs and the job was done very well, very high quality! I got a lot of compliments on my backyard!!! Highly recommended!

Our front yard had deteriorated badly in recent years due to the drought and deer population. Our terraced yard had been held in place by ivy that was dead and the hillside was starting to erode. Brian from Picture Build met with me to discuss our options. Drought and deer tolerant plants were a must for us, as well as some way to hold the slopes in place. We had met with other landscaping companies before, but Brian made new suggestions that appealed to us (e.g. a granite rock wall where we couldn't build a retaining wall due to utilities easement, among other things). We decided to move forward.

The next step was meeting with the design team from Remarkable Gardens. The ladies were very nice to work with and produced a design that we were very happy with. Brian then provided a budget and plan that fit nicely into our expectations.

The Picture Build crew were all courteous and professional as the project moved into the execution phase. I'm home during the day, so I was present for most of the work and tended to ask a fair amount of questions. The crew were always willing to talk with me and never made me feel that I was being intrusive. We did have some change orders along the way - some expected, some at our request and some unexpected but not considered by us to be unreasonable. There was a point near the end of the project when we were not clear on the status of some loose ends. I called Brian to discuss these issues and within 24 hours it all had been addressed. My impression of Brian is that a top priority was our satisfaction of the outcome of our project. Also, about a week after the project completion, the irrigation system malfunctioned. We contacted the project manager, Brandon, who sent out a crew to fix the problem (caused by the high water pressure we have). They installed pressure valves and it's worked perfectly since.

We are so pleased with the final results. We get so many compliments. I wouldn't hesitate to use Picture Build again and would recommend them highly to anyone.

Picture Build was hired for a complete overhaul of our property. New driveway, pavers, steps, irrigation system, new turf and new plantings. They did an awesome job, finished on time, and on-budget. They completely transformed our property. From the planning to the installation, all went smoothly and the follow-up service from George was excellent. Would highly recommend this company.
