I have done business with Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning since I moved to Tehachapi in 2002. Dan and his employees have always done a great job and have always been honest. This company is the BEST. They helped us when I really needed them. My husband was out of the country when our heating unit stopped working. They went out of their way to get a new motor and install it quickly. They were very reasonable and professional.

Dan and his team are very professional with their work, honest, and just great people all around. They came to upgrade my thermostat and knowing they have knowledge of ventilation systems I asked them to check my bathroom vents because I was having extreme mold growth in my newly built home, they found that when the house was built the stucco people had stuccoed all of the vents shut. They removed the excess stucco for me, and it stopped the mold growing in my home. This saved me money and a headache! I highly recommend them when looking for an HVAC company.

Moving into a new house this summer, I turned on the A/C and found it didn't do much cooling. They came the next morning. Unfortunately the compressor had to be replaced because all its Freon (yes, Freon) had leaked out owing to lack of maintenance by previous owner. I elected to replace furnace at same time, because it was near end of life. They made an appointment to do the install 9 days later, which seemed VERY prompt to me, and they kept it. The work took just about half a day, they hauled away the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves. There was one glitch with a seal, and they came out next day and fixed that. Dan Isbell, the owner, responds very promptly to text or voicemail.

After a very different experience with another company at my previous house, I give Advanced 5 stars for fast response, competent installation, and follow up. Of course this was a major purchase, but their price seemed reasonable. Their warranty policy is very generous: they cover labor for as long as the manufacturer covers parts.

Great to work with! Dan was very quick to respond and came out quickly to put together a quote for installing central A/C. As soon as the equipment arrived, he worked to get me scheduled for installation and got the work done in 1 day (I already had ducting throughout the house, however). Definitely recommend!

After many years of using window A/C units we decided that it was time to get central air. Frankly, our summers have been pretty hot the last couple of years and the downstairs window A/C just was not hacking it. I called a good friend of mine as he is local garage door contractor for a recommendation. He instantly said Advanced Heating and Air as they replaced a unit in his home. Dan came by and checked out our furnace and informed me it was too old and couldn't be used with a cooling unit. In for a penny and in for a pound I told him. I had done quite a bit of research on line on costs and was pleasantly surprised at the very fair estimate Dan gave us.
