I use Cornett for all of my home and rental properties' plumbing requirements. They are reliable, the work is good, and always fair. While these words may sound ordinary, "fair", "good" and "reliable" are difficult to find these days.

While the plumber seemed satisfactory, he could not get a drain clogged from the kitchen and said I had to get it jetted. I called to make the appointment to get it jetted and the secretary/manager was very rude to me. She would not listen to what had to be done and sure enough was going to send a plumber to do EXACTLY the same thing that did not work the first time of which I was charged $175 for a clogged kitchen sink that remains a clogged kitchen sink. The secretary/manager also claimed I threw a bunch of grease down the drain - which I did not. I previously told the plumber it was black sludge. Thus, not only was she rude and ignored the problem, she tried to shift blame to me. I called another plumbing company that was professional and kind on the phone and scheduled the jetting for the next day.

These guys are great! Fast and reliable. Roger was able to find and fix a couple of plumbing issues for us pretty quickly, and for a fair price. I will always call Cornett, now!

We had a clog in our toilet that has turned into a problem. Every couple months we would have a back up. We would call random plumbers to fix and everytime we would get a huge run around even before a snake was put in the drain. Roger from Cornett came and fixed our problem in 20 minutes. He did a good amount of forensic investigating about what the problem could be while giving us advice on how to get the problem fixed. Looks to be we have a slope in our sewer drain making it difficult for waste to clear to the city. Roger was so helpful, nice and very well educated in plumbing. What a breath of fresh air to have a plumber come and get the job done. We highly recommend Cornett plumbing and ask for Roger. The bill was very reasonable and they showed up before their antisipated arrival time. A+ service and highly recommended

Charged 125 to provide a quote without telling us ahead of time that that would be the "service fee." Had a loose tile under my toilet that I suspected was the result of a leak and called asking for a quote. They insisted on sending a guy to see it in person and said nothing else about a charge for giving the quote. When the plumber came, he said it'd be 250 to break the seal on the toilet! When we asked to think about it, he charged 125 for just showing up to provide the quote.

Having a service fee is one thing, but having a service fee without telling someone ahead of time is something else altogether.

Wayne is awesome. I called them out before asking if they worked on heat pumps. When he arrived to give me an estimate, I found out they don't work on the pumps. He declined the estimate fee. Instead he referred me to another local company that does such work. And I'll take the referral because their previous drywall referral was awesome too. Cornett is nice, family run. Professional but not pretentious. They are our gotos for plumbing. Highly recommend.

We have a 1950's home with a original floor furnace in Gardena. Cornett Plumbing was only one we could find that would work on our furnace. Dave and the staff were very friendly. Made a appointment on Monday for a Tuesday morning time. They called Tuesday morning to let us know the repair was arriving within the hour. Dave found out the failing part and noted that the previous repairman made some non standard repair before I owned the home. After the repair, Dave ran us through the steps on pilot light process and followed up call the next day to see if furnace had was working fine. Highly recommend Cornett Plumbing for working on your older furnace.

Have used Cornett Plumbing twice now for two separate problems and I can not say enough good things about them! They are prompt, polite and professional. I had Roger and Mark take care of our issues and both were outstanding. Definitely our go-to plumbers!

Owner/manager and staff have terrible customer service. The man who they sent out to address a clogged pipe was so unprofessional I felt unsafe with him at my home. When I complained to the owner regarding his behavior and the fact that they had not fixed the issue they charged me for “resolving” he told me they would send someone different out but would charge me full price again. Wow. How they are still in business blows my mind.

I have not reviewed the wrong company. Cornett Plumbing and Heating in Torrance is a terrible company.

Great understanding and very informative over all loyalty runs in this company. I have recommended this company to my Friends, Neighbors and clients they only had good things to say after hearing them. The best plumbing company in the area hands down.

We had a hot water heater malfunction at our rental and Cornett got our favorite plumber, Roger, out within hours. The problem was fixed that day. Roger gave us the best advice on what was needed with his years of experience. Office staff answered phones quickly and were helpful.

Total bullies! Twice now I have had negative interactions with either a worker or the owner of this business. Both times it was the same man. I have called to complain once but no one called me back.

The first time, I was already making a turn down my street and he got mad and honked his horn, flipped me off, and went 45 MPH down our street.

Just now, I was on a scooter and he was coming out of the Ace parking lot. He wasn't looking and almost pulled out in front of me, so I honked. He then sat there for 5 minutes glaring at me to try and intimidate me.

Had a situation where the heater wasn't turning on, plumber/heater guy came and never checked filter and just said you need a roofer to replace the vent and left $185 .....I called another plumber, they came changed the filter, did a whole system check and replaced the roof cap for $350....and got the system running. I feel that the $185 for someone who obviously didn't either know how to fix or didn't want to fix seems a bit steep.

Insanely awesome customer service.
Had an issue and the maintenance person instructed me over the phone on what to do to temporarily fix the problem until someone could make it out. They actually call you back when they say they are going to.

We had Kevin from Bob and Marc Plumbng install our sewer liner. It only took (1) day problem solved! You guys are the best!

There was a group of your workers taunting and intimidating the people walking around Manhattan Beach today. I thought you should be aware.
