They came it charged $150 cause they said I used drano.
BEWARE BAIT AND SWITCH OPERATION .

We've been customers for year. Always reliable & competent, and every service person, without exception, has been very NICE.

I'm highly disappointed with Al-Garcia plumbing. They were the installer of my shower plumbing and the diverter valve gets loose over few times I use it. One of their plumbers came out 2 times to "fix" it. The first time, he said he needs a new part...for a practically brand new installation! The 2nd time, he "installed" it, but took most of the part for himself, even though I told him to leave it. Therefore...this is theft. After 3 attempts, I still have the exact same problem, even though they charged 2 times to fix it and stole 1 expensive part. Disappointing and terrible. In the end, I figured out what the issue was and fixed it myself...and I'm not even a plumber!

Called early this morning because our hot water heater cut out. His team sent someone out within a couple hours. Turns out the interior of the tank was leaking and was destroying the board. They were able to find a very similar replacement and have everything hooked up and running by 3pm. The team was very professional! Happy I made the call.

Al and his team did an excellent installation of a Noritz tankless water heater. The previous heater, 15 years old, was providing only intermittent hot water. The new unit works great. Al's team also previously resolved a serious blockage in our plumbing. We highly recommend Al Garcia plumbing to fix all your plumbing needs.

Al Garcia Plumbing’s installation of a new furnace for us exceeded all of our expectations. Ours was a very big job to correct an improperly installed furnace, requiring all new ducting for a two story home and adding a missing air return. Wonderful experience with this company. The initial
Plumber came out and took our horribly corroded faucets apart and diagnosed the problem. Both defective faucets combined with hard water. After receiving four new faucets under warranty from Delta, Al Garcia sent two plumbers who promptly removed the old faucets and installed the new ones at a reasonable price. Thank you!!

Al Garcia's Plumbing ALWAYS comes through with the best service. We have used this company for our HVAC and plumbing needs for the past five years, and they are always quick to respond. We trust this company wholeheartedly.

I have used this company over the years and they always did a great job at an affordable price.
I had them come out to change the water filter under our sink (body glove) and to change the faucet I just bought for our instant hot water heater. We have a faucet in place, it's very old and loose on the counter.
The plumber said he didn't feel comfortable changing it as he didn't think it was compatible with our water heater. I totally understand that and was appreciative he didn't want to install something that didn't work.
BUT...I called both the hot water heater and faucet companies and found out it is compatible. I called back and asked for him to come back to install it. The woman who answers the phone said she would relay the message and get back to me. She didn't, so I called back the next day. She stated she hadn't heard from him but would call me back.
We went on vacation for a week and no call.
I called again...this time asking for a manager. She (same woman) said she could help me. She put me on a brief hold then said, "he doesn't feel comfortable installing it since he thinks it isn't going to work". Even though I explained it will. She said "he won't do it". I said, ok I guess I need a new plumber and she said "ok".
So yeah, I won't be calling them again.
I guess they are busy enough to turn business away.

After their response…I’d like to make it very clear. I called both companies (the instant hot water heater and faucet company). The instant hot water heater doesn’t manufacture faucets. The hot water heater company stated that any faucet that has a specific valve is suitable. The faucet company said that the faucet I purchased has this valve, so it’s compatible.
The technician said we needed the faucet made for this heater. There is NO faucet made for this heater. When we asked the tech about what we should purchase he gave no further guidance.
I would have happily returned the faucet and bought what he recommended, but he couldn’t do that.
If this could have been rectified, there wouldn’t be a need to post this poor review.

Al Garcia’s Plumbing is my go to plumbing company. The service is excellent from the receptionist and scheduling to the problem solving and repairs. I have relied on Al Garcia’s to do full inspections, and simple and complex jobs at multiple properties. They are helpful, honest, and they explain and show me how they have repaired gas leaks, water leaks, toilet repairs, fixture replacements, etc. The billing is precise with job description.

We've used Al Garcia's Plumbing a few times for flushing our tankless water heater, cleaning out root clogs and leaky toilet seals. They are always on time, knowledgeable, courteous and pricing is fair. This last visit we dealt with Alfonso and his partner and were very happy with them. I would hire Al Garcia's Plumbing again.

I was calling around looking for a plumber to replace two faucets at my mom's house using fixtures I had already purchased from a big box retailer. Most companies insisted on sending someone out just to quote the job—at a fee—before committing to anything. Thankfully, I’ve seen that movie before and wasn’t falling for it.

Enter Al Garcia’s Plumbing. They gave me a clear, upfront quote over the phone, no games. Francisco and Eric arrived on time in a well-organized, fully stocked plumbing truck. They came prepared with all the necessary tools and even brought in a grey tub like the kind used by restaurant busboys—super practical. As they dismantled the old faucets, they used the tub to collect debris and parts, keeping the work area spotless.

They finished the job promptly, were extremely pleasant to work with, and the end result was flawless. I now have a trusted plumber I can count on in the South Bay. I've already referred them out a few times and am genuinely thrilled to have found a reputable, family-owned business that takes pride in their work.

What can I say? My wife and I were overwhelmed (and uninformed) about repairing our air-conditioning system. As first-time home owners, this was unfamiliar territory.
After talking about budget, timing, etc... We reached out to our realtor, who recommended Al Garcia Plumbing.
A good/great recommendation is GOLDEN!
It's nice to call a company and actually get a polite, human voice that answers the phone.
Al Garcia was never late in scheduling their estimates, call-backs and service.
And guess what?- Their estimate was lower than 2 other local/independent businesses in the area.
When you need a referral- trust your realtor! :-)

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Professional, polite, great work ethic, and neat. We've had them do a couple of large jobs in past year (Mainline water replacement & Mainline Sewer replacement). They even did some things outside of the scope of work (at no extra charge)! In a word "Outstanding!"

FANTASTIC! I came home from a Thanksgiving trip to a toilet running with what turned out to be a broken handle. It's the day after a holiday. I call at about 12:30pm. I'm told to expect a plumber between 2 and 4pm. At 1:54, I am called and told the plumber would arrive in 25 mins. Exactly 25 mins later, said plumber arrives. He diagnoses and repairs the problem. Despite what must have been a busy time, he walked me through the details of the repair and asked if there were any other issues needing his attention before he left. I am thrilled!: Problem solved, no muss, no fuss and all at a reasonable price. Thank you, Al Garcia. Al Garcia Plumbing forever!

I can’t say enough about this company and its team of well equipped, well trained professional plumbers. We have a new sewer line all the way to the city right of way and it’s the last 15+ or - feet in that right of way that have been inundated with our neighbors ficus tree roots. They used their basic snake to somewhat free up the flow but then they brought out the big guns with a super powerful hydro-jet that really ripped out the root blockage which they confirmed with a scope that was traceable from the surface! Great job guys we should be good for another year before we have to go deep to replace the whole pipe and city connection.
