The shaft of my food processor broke. This was the only place I could find it town to fix it. He fixed it for a reasonable price, while I waited. Definitely recommend for small appliance repair.

I have experienced nothing but friendly customer service from all of the employees who work there. On several occasions they have even donated items for different benefits that have been thrown to help rise money.
They are friendly, fast, and they know what they are doing! -
I GOT YELLED AT 😢
Called to see if they could help install a part on my washing machine circuit board
Was talking to an older man working there
He said they don’t do that ...... was in the middle of asking if they knew someone who could and he started literally YELLING at me to open the yellow pages and look
I will NEVER call them again !!! -
Dropped off my stand mixer and it was ready in an hour, better than new. Was charged $10 less than what I was quoted. Excellent service!

Evidently can't give you prices or tell you if a part is in stock over the phone. Can't imagine why stores are struggling in the age of the internet *sarcasm*. If you have the least bit of technical savvy, find the part you need and purchase it online with next day shipping. Save some money and avoid the hassle.

Steve is the most knowledgeable and honest small appliance repair guy you will ever meet! We drive from IL to see him!
-
I would give them less stars but I can't. Showed up about 10 minutes to closing time they had already shut down the store. What store seriously closes that early compared to their normal closing time? Won't be getting any of my business.
-
Grate customer service. Steve is very knowledgable and fixed what i need within a few hours . And lost of other neat things in store too look at. Ill be back anytime i need any small appliances fixed.
-
Recently went there for first time in years. Spoke with owner whose father used to run store. Needed a part for my shaver, which he had in stock. Very friendly and helpful.
-
Very helpful on the phone and carries the basics - nothing fancy. Most of the store is old toys/resale type items with just a small appliance part section. I paid 3x more than I would have online.

I needed a service guy that knew what he was talking about and not someone from the big box stores that didnt know his a** from a hole in the ground. Sterling and Steve bring personal service back to business like it used to be in the old days. They referred me to John and he had me up and running in no time! Thanks Guys!

I just wanted to know if this company repaired pressure cookers, or if they only did bigger appliances.
So I called them and I got as far as "I have a pressure cooker and" and I was interrupted with "what brand is it?". I then said "I'm not sure but I just wanted to know if you repair........" and was interrupted again with "I can't answer any questions until you tell me what brand". So I started again with "can you tell me if....." But could not finish the sentence because he talked over me and again said "I can't say anything until I know the brand".
I think this was the rudest man I have spoken to in the USA - he would not even listen to my question - he just talked over me and would not let me talk. -
Was looking for part for my stove, store owner was grouchy old man who told me I would never find the part I need w/o the model # of stove which I did not have because it had been removed by previous owner. The store isles were full of collected die cast metal cars not appliance parts. The next place I went they found the part # I needed and ordered the part. Unless your looking for collector cars don't waste your time.

Absolute disgrace to Crestwood would NOT recommend them.
I just called to see if I could get a price on a part for my washing machine, he cut me off and proceeded to tell me no he wouldn't unless I was there with cash in my hand to put down a deposit. I said I only need a price and he started yelling at me, when I stated I was a customer and you don't speak to me like that he hung up on me. Hope he doesn't treat his employees or family this way. -
Called to see about getting a new broiler element. Wouldn't tell me if they had one in stock and that I would have to come in with the model number. Decided to call around instead of making the drive there on a maybe. Called Appliance Parts in Arnold and they confirmed they had the part in stock. Heading there tomorrow to get it.

I call this place to see if they have a part in stock for my stove. He says u have to come in with your model number and serial number? I said I have those right here. He says you have to come in? I tell the guy in 45 minutes away and really don't want to drive there if he doesn't have what I need! He says ok I don't know what to tell you. Kinda messed up they can't tell you if the have your part over the phone!

Over the years I have taken a number of small appliances to them for repair. In every case, they have been able to resolve the problem and have done so in a quick manner. I think their prices seem very fair, as I surely don't have the expertise to even diagnose, much less solve the problem. Will keep returning.

Took my kitchen aid stand mixer we in to be fixed. Could not be happier when I brought it home and tried it out. Will definitely be recommend Crestwood Appliancesto everyone I know.

They didn't stock the part I needed for our washer. Took a week for it to come in. I could have sourced elsewhere but decided to spend locally. Nice selection of metal toys and some older dishes and small appliances.

I drop off a blender there for my workplace and was told that they did not need the motor for them to check it out. Only for them to call me the following morning to tell me they do need it; knowing I live an hour and a half away. Now they call me saying that they can't fix it and want ME to come pick up the blender and take it to a different appliance store in Fenton. Worst of all, I called them today to ask what the name of the store in Fenton is. The owner's son answers, plays dumb and tells me that he does not get involved in his father's assumptions and to call him in the morning. Never thought we would have a business negate their service towards us, but that's ok. Just don't do it to anyone else.

I took our Kitchaid mixer - K5SS in to be repaired that was not working. The service technician was informed that the mixer had been smoking and made a burning smell when trying to mix cookie dough the last time it was used. The mixer was picked up and had been repaired with new brushes and had been greased which cost $140 + tax. The first time using the mixer following the repair while making a batch of cookie dough, my wife creamed the butter and sugar (butter was thawed) and when she began adding flour to the butter / sugar mixture the motor again began smoking and made the same burning smell. I returned to Crestwood Appliance with the mixer and was told that she was being too hard on the mixer and that there was nothing more that could be done.
I called Kitchaid service and was told that for $140 the mixer should have been rebuilt. Given the age of the mixer, money already invested, and the fact that there is not another authorized service center in eastern Missouri, we'll cut our losses and purchase a new mixer.
