Johnny and his crew were very professional, knowledgeable, well mannered, and pleasant. They were tasked with inserting root barriers for my large trees that were starting to push up sections of my driveway. Johnny was very helpful in resolving this issue since I thought the trees had to be removed. He suggested root barriers as a step to save my 50 year old trees instead of removing them. It was substantially less expensive than having these trees removed and hopefully will correct the problem. I appreciated his advice and his willingness not to proceed to the most expensive option. They performed all the tasks efficiently and left the yard clean. I will use them in the future. I highly recommend this company.

I am so happy to have found Johnny at Tom Day Tree service. He came highly recommended from another old time Claremont family who are avid gardeners. I have used many tree services, this was the first time my potted plants under the trees did not get damaged. They put pieces of particle board on stands over them. Cleaned up everything and also were polite and responsible. I asked for trees to be sprayed for aphids which they did as well.Johnny is very knowledgeable about trees and is enthusiastic about his work. He speaks like an arborist about oak trees of which i have three of. I will be using them always.

The Crew arrived early and worked hard all day. Did everything we needed and asked for. Professional work and very knowledgeable about how to best care for the health and shapes of our trees. We have been using Tom Day Tree Service for 40+ years and always with the best care and results for our trees.
Clean up is excellent too. When they leave, everything is neat and clean. Wouldn't know they were here except for how great our property looks. They sanitize their tools between jobs, so as not to spread disease from other trees.
These guys know their trade and enjoy providing a great service.

A man that can condescendingly answer the question..when is the best time to prune my fruit trees..?. with...'" the best time is when you have the money" is man that will not prune my fruit trees regardless of skill.

I witnesses a truck driver from Tom Day Tree Service on 04-10-21 at 12:25 PM, driving a large Tom Day 18 wheeler truck illegally thru a residential neighborhood posted "No 3 ton trucks," trying to take a short cut to avoid traffic on the major street. At 6th St/Hellman Ave. in Rancho Cucamonga. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to the residents of that neighborhood, and no there was no tree trimming job in that neighborhood. I took a photo for proof of the violation!
