Constraction reviews in Van Nuys, California

It was a pleasure working with this company. They did a fine job with our new cabinets, and they were always on schedule. I highly recommend this group.

I&E did a very nice job for us. They listened to all our needs and made sure everything was done correctly. The workmanship was solid, and where corrections were needed, they quickly complied.

We used I & E cabinets for our kitchen remodel and it turned out beautiful! Every aspect and worker that came to our house had great craftsmanship and it shows on our finished kitchen.

Horrible, horrible experience using this company that we found at a home show. It took a year to get the kitchen remodeled and they were very rude. The cabinets were not made or installed properly and are falling apart. I finally just told them I was done with them. I paid a lot of money for a half a$$ed looking kitchen. I have followed up with them over the years and they tell me they will send someone out and they never have.

I&E Cabinets, Inc. demolitioned my old tile counter and backsplash, and replaced with a new corian flax colored countertop and backsplash which is just beautiful. Kas and all the Team Members from I&E Cabinets, Inc. were excellent and worked very neat and clean. I am extremely pleased with the product and the job that I&E Cabinets, Inc. did, and I will definitely be using them again. This Company went beyond being helpful, and also installed my knobs, pulls and inside magnets to my newly painted older cabinets, and it all looks great.

I &E Cabinets installed a built in closet organizer at our home that included a center island with drawers and a corian counter-top. first i would like to say that they came in at a lower cost for the project, the materials were of a higher grade and the workmanship was excellent. The installation crew was wonderful and cleaned up at the end. On the overall the work was performed on time as promised and there were no extra charges. It was a pleasure to work with them

We tore down and remodeled our entire kitchen from scratch. We also got a massive master bathroom double vanity, sleek modern design; and, boy, did I & E deliver!

The lead designer was with us on every step of the way, from design concept, through material choice, to actual construction, and even finishing and cleaning up. The owners themselves were involved and checked in along the way. We were treated like family.

The prices were reasonable and the quality of materials, craftsmanship, and professionalism very high. Truly a great experience.

Thanks I & E!

My cabinets look fine but I really do not like the communication I’ve had with this company. I understand there are labor and supply chain issues, but it’s unprofessional to wait until two days prior to installation to cancel installation saying they need two weeks. I asked to schedule only when the cabinets were ready and they kept pressuring me to schedule a date even if they didn’t know the cabinets would be ready. I expressed that installation involves closing of my office and planning patient’s treatments. When the cabinets were installed some things were not done correctly. They had difficulty scheduling another day to fix it and I was given a call by the manager, saying I need to pay even if the job wasn’t finished. The cabinets look fine but I think the process could have been done a lot more professionally and respectfully towards their customers.

It’s been 2 and a half years since my cabinets were installed and they are holding up great and look great! We had one issue with a little latch and it was fixed within a few days.

Dear Isaac and Ettie--

Thank you, thank you! My wife and I are thrilled with our I & E cabinets. We found your company after a long journey of comparison shopping and due diligence. It's our luck that we did. The quality of I & E millwork and craftsmanship is striking-- on par with any kitchens featured in Architectural Digest or BHG and the high end kitchen design shops. It is high-end custom work for do-able cost. And it's also your people who for us make a difference.

Everyone is great, but specifically I want to mention: Dave is a gem-- his knowledge, insight, and personality is unique-- and gave a lot of time, and several visits. We appreciated it (he sealed the deal for us). Ed was very generous with his time and knowledge-- very responsive with emails and such. Silvia was a great liaison to all the elements. The demo team was great. And lastly, Hugo, our installer, is incredibly talented and did a beautiful job.

We believe in life that the quality of business relationships is not measured by the times when everything goes right and is perfect, but the times of triage and problem solving. We had a few minor adjustments and unexpected punch-list items. We noticed and appreciated how you handled quickly and responsively.

After a little hiatus to re-group, we will be doing our master bathroom in the spring. You can be sure Dave will be our first call!!

All our best,
Stuart Cohen

I&E Cabinets did an excellent job redoing my LA condo rental. I could not have been happier with the results and the service. They provided excellent design services, great communication and they stand by their work and product. You will not be disappointed if you use this company.

We just had our kitchen completely remodeled by I&E Cabinets and we are thrilled with the results. It is so much better than we even expected and the job went very well.
Their 40 year experience was very helpful in navigating the design and layout which is so important in a small 10' X 12' space.
The cabinets and doors are all very well made and everything fits perfectly.
Their suggestions on Quartz countertop and on door handles were great too.

I'm glad we decided to go with 'I & E Cabinets' after interviewing 5 other companies. They proved to be the best choice we could have made.

I'm so excited with my new kitchen! My goodness! Silvia, Ed, and Dave were a team that took my 1950's outdated, drab, and dysfunctional kitchen into the 21st century. I wanted custom cabinetry, with designer appliances and I&E Cabinets delivered. I knew exactly how I needed my kitchen to function, and they were able to turn my ideas into reality!
The design process was hassle free, and when we had revisions, there never was a problem in tweaking the layout, or adding a specialty drawer. I recommend I&E Cabinets for the spot on design, clean build-out, and profession service from start to completion. The installers were respectful of my home, and were clean and tidy every day of the project. The timeline was quick, and my husband and I cooked our first meal in our new kitchen that looks like a home design magazine cover. We are so happy, and will be for years to come!

I am a tenant of South Scattered Sites Public Housing.
Harry H. Joh Construction Company in Paramount Calif contracted I & E Cabinets to make the countertops and cabinets. The BackSplash is not lined up right and there is to much silicone in some areas They tryed to fix it and it looks even worser. Otherwise the Cabinets and countertops are nice.

Thanks Marie

We remodeled our kitchen and wanted to keep as many of our original cabinets as we could. Since we got new appliances and extended the island, we needed to try to match the new cabinets with the old. I&E Cabinets produced gorgeous cabinets and drawers for us. Finally our kitchen looked the way I dreamed it could.

Oh my god wow what a great job these guys did! In this day and age it's really tough to find good contractors. The staff at I and E cabinets were incredible. I am so happy to have my kitchen remodel done by them. Dave and Izzy were wonderful to work with. They did a terrific job. Reliable and on time and you can't beat the price and quality. I had several estimates from kitchen companies and no they were not the lowest but apples to apples, they shined. I highly recommend them for your kitchen and bath remodel.

I&E Cabinets did beautiful custom work on our kitchen and was impressed how efficient and affordable the job was. This is truly my dream kitchen, and we couldn't be happier. The team at I&E made themselves available for all my questions and helped make the experience of kitchen renovation easy.

7,23 not all are self close. I called and no return call. Just got reply from review. Raised 1 to 3 * when they fix to self close I'll raise it.
New; months still not done!! 1 cabinet bad!! Broken dishwasher they jerked out right side clip to door. Buckled floor from their water. Coming tomorrow we'll see. Asked for insurance info many x may have to hire attorney ugh! Old; Sales misleading. We had to pay 20 k for quoted 16,7k 1300 was our over for proper countertops. Scheduler won't listen, can't. Sylvia called next day hung up on me. Lol! Designer was not brilliant but ok. More info asap. I changed rating 1 to 3. Day 2 back o 1. You can see unfinished carpentry, big gaps against contract. Finished product might b 5.

I sold everything I had & bought a neglected 10 unit building when health problems forced me to leave a stressful career in 2009. Increasing rents by renovating right was imperative. Knowing renters focus on kitchens & baths my contractor took me to I & E Cabinets. I & E Cabinets had endless choices displayed on the walls: cabinet faces, textures & styles, counter & back splash materials, interior cabinet finishes, drawer pulls, knobs & hinges. An I & E Cabinets designer helped me navigate the options with enthusiasm & confidence.

The designer steered me in directions that would endure renter abuse educating me on materials & costs along the way. In the end I trusted the I & E Cabinets expert to identify sexy timeless solutions that were resilient & affordable. I & E Cabinets custom made everything needed to fit my kitchen perfectly. Every aspect of my I & E Cabinets experience was outstanding. Manufacturing & delivery was done on schedule & everything was delivered on budget. The workers covered my floors, respected my freshly painted walls & my new appliances. They behaved professionally & left my job site spotless. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable about the products & the process, informing me about cleaning, maintenance & durability. I & E Cabinets people are warm, friendly & super conscientious.

No one believes 11 years have passed since I & E Cabinets sent installers to 8 of my 10 West Hollywood flats. The results are incredible. Perspective renters always say they love the kitchen as soon as they walk in the door. Everyone asks if my units were just redone! I haven’t had a single problem with anything from I & E Cabinets. With 2 renters per unit, my 8 kitchens serve 16 tenants & their dogs every year. As the pictures show, everything I & E Cabinets recommended performed well. No chips, scratches, fading or discolorations. Everything still looks sensational inside & out. I’m so happy my contractor brought me to I & E Cabinets. Me & my 16 tenants love them.

I&E Cabinets transformed my 1990's style kitchen into a sleek and modern space. They were professional, efficient and honest from the first sales call to the final installation. The product looks amazing and the quality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this company for all renovating needs!

Izzy & his entire team were really helpful creating my new kitchen. My initial concept was upgraded with help from their draftsman, and all the installers were on time and really professional.

I wanted Hickory doors/drawers, which isn’t wood that they normally work with…but they accommodated my design and the result is fantastic. We spent a little extra on the Hickory and a bunch of slide outs, trash bins, spice drawers etc. that add so much functionality…we’re really happy with the results.

A few issues came up during the process…but the team resolved them all. We were also impressed how quickly they got everything done…especially since it was around the holidays. Check out the photos I posted of their awesome work!
