Constraction reviews in Van Nuys, California

Occasionally I recommend my clients of good contractors I think are suitable for their projects. One of my favorite contractors to work with is Attic Insulation Labs. This week I had the chance to not only recommend them to others but to have them work on my home. I had high expectations and they exceeded all of them. Their workers were attentive, punctual and above all provided a very high quality insulation installation. I'll keep on recommending them to others for as long as they keep providing this level of quality and customer service.

I highly recommend this company. Jacky (the estimator) was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive when I had some questions. The crew who showed up to do the work was also on time, professional and highly detailed in their work. We could not believe how carefully they shielded off the rest of the house with plastic to insure no dust/debris could escape from work area. We were very impressed with how carefully they performed this task. And, they even sealed up a couple of rodent access points under our house which was not even part of the original scope of work. These guys truly take pride in doing a great job!

We were really impressed with Insulation Labs' professionalism. The crew worked efficiently and were very detail-oriented. They prepped the house with ease and made clean up look easy. Best of all, we didn't have to do a thing! We highly recommend Insulation Labs!

Scheduling a crawlspace cleaning with Insulation Labs was quick and easy. They called to re-confirm with me the week of, they let me know the morning of that they were on their way, and arrived on time. The crew did a great job cleaning everything out, rodent-proofing all vents, deodorizing, and sanitizing everything. They removed and took all trash with them. I appreciated the communication and service they provided. Very glad I went with Insulation Labs. I am also thinking of using them to clean out my attic and install insulation in my existing walls.

They have excellent customer service from Jorge the guy who provides the estimate to his manager Angel. Angel, matched their price to another quote I had received, and was able to accommodate me and sent a crew the following day. The crew lead by Eric and Martin arrived on time, were organized, isolated their work space, were clean, professional did everything they said they would and went above their duty by hanging up from the beams A/C ducts that had been left down, Thanks. At the end Eric asked me if I wanted to see their finished work. Great job guys! My two cents, when management treats people right, you can sense it, it trickles down in their employees overall attitude and work quality! Thanks again for a great job guys!

The work team arrives at 8:25am, works until 7:30pm, such a long day. They are very professional, clean my whole attice, then install new insulation also fix all the holes in my house not only attic, but also basement, to make sure there is no rats come again. My house is very old, so cost a long time just for cleaning. They did a wonderful job, I am super satisfied. Definately recommend to my friends.

I got several estimates to insulate my attic and take advantage of a rebate being offered by LADWP. I chose this company because the representative was very professional and the prices were competitive. They are also very knowledgeable about the rebate process. When I chose to hire them to do the job, they got me on their schedule fairly quickly. They said the whole job would be done in just one day. There was a lot of work to be done: clear out the old insulation, clean out the attic, disinfect, fill any gaps to prevent rodents and other animals from entering the space, and blowing in the new insulation. They did indeed finish in one day. The team was very hard-working. It was an extremely hot day to be working in the attic, but they powered through and got it done. Well done!

These guys are awesome! I was looking to get my attic insulation and air ducts replaced last year and unfortunately Covid happened. Fast forward almost a year later, I decided to reach out to them and see if they were still available. Oliver was very professional and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. They were very thorough with their work. One of my major concerns was the asbestos in our old air ducts, and they were able to assist in safely removing them. The next day, a team of four came and was able to install the insulation and air ducts. They were so mindful of our home, they were masks, they taped everything up and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Insulation labs.

Our experience with Insulation Labs (installation of attic insulation, radiant barrier, and an attic fan) was extremely positive. Their bid was more detailed and lower cost than the bid we got from one of their competitors for the same services. Abraham, who visited for the estimate, was both knowledgeable and informative. The installation crew was friendly, polite, neat, professional, and efficient. I would not hesitate to use Insulation Labs again and I definitely recommend them to others.

We had the old insulation replaced/upgraded and all of the rodent attic screens replaced and were very happy with the professionalism of the crew and the respect they showed to our home. Easy to communicate with the company with scheduling & follow up. Gave us before, during, and after photos to see for ourselves all of the work completed. Very happy with their services!

Wonderful service and a job well done! After getting 4 other quotes to replace the insulation in our attic from other top-related companies in the LA area, we ended up choosing Attic Insulation by LABS, and we're very glad we did.

The initial review of our attic was very thorough and uncovered additional space that the other companies did not find in their quicker inspections. During the day of the actual work, Eran was very nice and communicative, walking us through clear status updates along the way. He also provided pictures to help us see how the work was progressing.

The workers kept our home clean during the process, which was very important to us. The entire job took longer than planned because there had more work than initially thought (insulation was deeper than planned during clean up). Eran stuck with his original quote and completed the job thoroughly. Highly recommend this great business.

Probably the best experience I've EVER had with a home improvement or home repair company. Estimator was on time, did his thing quickly and professionally, and gave me an estimate. I got the formal quote by email and we formalized a date for the job. Two attics required two crews, so that the job would be completed in one day. They arrived on time, made preparations to insure no harm or mess would come to my home and went to work. As promised, they were finished that day. They even had one crew member under the house for a couple of hours, making sure any animal access from there was sealed off. I knew they were going to seal off the attic, but didn't realize or expect that they would also take this important measure. I was shown the completed work and then everything was cleaned up as though they'd never been here. Also, both crew foreman were extremely polite young gentlemen, who made sure to explain all steps to be taken and answer any questions I had. Couldn't have gone better. Superb!

Insulation Labs was amazing! I got quotes from a few insulation companies, and they were by far the most professional and instilled trust from the very start. Their pricing was relatively competitive, but it's worth paying a little bit extra for their top-notch service. We bought a "new" old house and our attic was a complete mess (between a lot of decades-old roofing material, two layers of old insulation, and rodent droppings everywhere) and it was important to us to get it cleaned and sanitized before installing new insulation. The Insulation Labs crew of four spent many, many, many hours achieving what we needed and left with 26 giant trash bags of junk. They exceeded our expectations, achieving cleanliness we thought wouldn't be possible, and they didn't stop until it was perfect.

Great experience from the initial quote to the completion of the job. The good reviews are legit and I'm so glad we picked Attic Insulation Labs to do the work. The estimator, Yahav, was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. The workers were on time and didn't stop until they got the job done. I'm happy to give this company an excellent review.

We had most of our house insulated including walls, crawl space, and attic. The whole process of having someone come out to measure, explain the process in detail, and do all of the work was made easy and hassle free. They were even very helpful with scheduling and coordinating some needed asbestos abatement. I would highly recommend insulation labs for their clear and prompt communication, workmanship, and pricing.

I was thoroughly impressed with Insulation Labs. They cleaned our attic and added R-38 and a radiant barrier. Their installers were professional and courteous. I was stunned when I climbed into the attic to look around. The radiant barrier looks like gift wrapping at Bloomingdale's. They took such care to work around all of the various vents and wires, everything tucked in nicely.

You learn about a company when you deal with a problem. In my case, my A/C unit started acting strangely after the insulation went in. When I called insulation labs, they immediately sprung into action, sending an HVAC company to my house that day. They discovered that a wire had been disconnected during the install. Easy fix. But i was impressed by their responsiveness. There was never a doubt that they would make it right.

Good price, great work, highly recommended.

From beginning to end the whole process was amazing. Abraham was respectful, courteous, and thorough going over the details of what services we would need. Setting up the date for the installation was quick, accommodating, and within reason. Chris was great on the day of the installation by making sure our furniture was properly covered and by letting us know each step of the installation as it was complete. Overall I was extremely satisfied and happy with the process, it was a great experience. I jumped at the chance to recommend them to a neighbors friend.

Attic Labs was not only the most reasonably priced bid but they were the most professional. We had our insulation and air ducts replaced. They helped me with the paper work for our rebate and have always been helpful during this whole process. My dad has used them before and he was also very happy. Would recommend this company to anyone! My neighbors have already asked who did my attic work because it was so quickly taken care of!

I’ve recently had an attic cleaning and insulation replacement done by Attic Insulation Labs. Their service was outstanding but I decided to wait a few weeks and experience the change with the new insulation prior to posting this review. A few weeks after I can comfortably say that not only that their customer service is immaculate but also that their installers did an extremely good and clean job and that the new insulation did wonders on the temperature in my house. I’m very happy with everything they did for us. Highly recommended!

We hired Insulation Labs to clean up our attic from rats. They did so much more though. They cleared our attic of old insulation, cleaned and sanitized the entire attic, patched and sealed every opening and gap in the attic, put new insulation in, new ductwork from the rafters, and just in general made our attic Absolutely perfect. From my first meeting with Adam Torres, to the workers Pastor, Juan, Henry, Tony(or Eddie- can’t remember the last guys name), they were professional, on time, informative during the 2 day job. I appreciate the good work you did for us- many thanks!

I was comparing Attic Insulation Labs and three other insulation companies and I noticed the price and the reviews from other customers were reasonable so I decided to give them a call. After the work they did, I was not disappointed. They were very fast and finished insulating my whole attic in one day. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an insulation company for their attic. I am greatly satisfied with the hard work done by the team group !
