Constraction reviews in Van Nuys, California

Itay and his crew installed a drain tile and sump pump in our crawlspace. He and his crew were timely, very professional, and courteous. They did everything we asked and then some! It was a difficult and messy job for them which they performed admirably and cleaned up very well. Have yet to see how the system works, but as far as the crew they showed up when they said they would, did the job faster than they said they would, and left our place looking better than when they got here. Thanks guys - great work!

Great price, courteous service, and did not try to oversell me what I didn't need. Itay came out to give us a free quote to repair damaged soffit on one side of our house; I also asked him to quote us for a total roof replacement as it was also fairly old. He was very honest with us that our roof still had around 5 years in it and did not try to upsell me on replacing the entire soffit, only the damaged portion, He also recommended that we waterproofed it also instead of replacing the entire roof, Results were professional and you can't tell there was a repair at all. He even took before and after pictures at my request. I would highly recommend this company for your next roof repair, Waterproof or replacement.

I researched extensively to find a waterproofing company before calling Waterproofing and Roofing, They did not disappoint! The team was very responsive and quickly came to give me an estimate. I found the price to be very reasonable and fair. The Waterproofing and Roofing was very reasonable, especially for the value of the work that they produced.  I even inquired about an additional service (concrete repair ) and the estimator (very knowledgeable man!) informed me that they could do it!

Not only did they come out very quickly, but the process to get on their schedule was seamless, easy and super efficient.  They were a dream to work with. They repaired a crack that was leaking in my basement and waterproofed the entire thing . The process took about 8 hours and produced perfect results. No more leaking!  Their customer service after the job was complete was quite amazing. They called and emailed to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. Who does that these days!!!  I highly recommend them and will be using them again should I ever need their service again. Excellent job!

I cannot say enough good things about our entire experience with Surfacing and Waterproofing.  From the first meeting and going over all of the options with Itay, getting it scheduled and all of my questions answered with him, to the expert installation of our new roof by his crew.  We are thrilled with our beautiful new roof and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to do business with a friendly, reliable and professional company.

A new leak in our foundation appeared and water was seeping in was discovered when we were watering our yard.  Several clean ups were required and definitely had to get it repaired before the rainy season .  A new friend recommended The Waterproofing and Roofing to me and I'm so glad he did.  Within a week the crack was patched/ waterproofed! They were careful to find the source of the problem and correct the issue in its entirety.  The next time I watered my yard proved that their work was completed with care and precision for no water appeared inside our home.
I am very grateful to the kind and knowledgeable man who came out to initially talk with me,  for the fine workmanship of the job, for responding so quickly, and for the fair price given.   I highly recommend The Waterproofing and Roofing!

Itay and his team did a great job on waterproofing our balcony which had been giving us headache for years. His team, is hard working, responsible, and attentive to details. They did a good job on making sure the work will not damage the landscape plants below, and on cleaning up after every day's job is completed. We are very happy with every phase of the project, from removing the old tiles and concrete, replacing the damaged plywood, applying the waterproofing membrane to manufacturer's specs, conducting a
24-hour water test, and to installing the amazingly looking pavers. They also did a good job on fixing the downstair ceiling where leak was. We look forward to a leak-free balcony for years to come, and I have confidence that Itay has delivered it. I highly recommend Waterproofing and Roofing!

We had three balconies that were starting to show signs of wear cracking, water stains, and in one case, some actual leaking into the space below. I was nervous it might turn into a bigger issue, but Itay came through big time. From the quote to the final walkthrough, everything was super professional but still easygoing. Itay explained the waterproofing process clearly and gave us realistic timelines. The work itself was flawless clean lines, solid sealing, and no shortcuts. You can tell they knew exactly what they were doing. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with this kind of job, but I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Waterproofing and Roofing was fantastic. Itay is detail oriented and thorough when inspecting the damage. He gave us a few options to do a partial replacement or whole replacement of the roof. We went with a full roof replacement, and couldn't be happier with the results. His crew worked diligently to finish the roof replacement well. They also cleaned up the entire area after the completion of the replacement. I would highly recommend using Waterproofing and Roofing!

We recently hired Waterproofing and Roofing to address moisture issues in our crawl space and standing water around our home. From the initial consultation, Itay was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly assess the problem, explaining the best solutions in a clear and professional manner.
To resolve our concerns, Itay and his team installed a high-quality drainage system, a sump pump, and fully encapsulated our crawl space. The difference has been remarkable—no more excess moisture, and our home feels significantly more protected from potential water damage. Throughout the entire process, Itay and his crew were hardworking, efficient, and incredibly professional. They completed the job on time, cleaned up thoroughly, and delivered excellent craftsmanship at a very fair and reasonable price.
We are beyond satisfied with the results and will absolutely reach out to them for any future home improvement projects. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled contractor, we highly recommend Itay and his team!

I can’t say enough good things about Waterproofing and roofing and their basement waterproofing service! Before they stepped in, my basement was practically unusable—damp floors, water stains, and that awful mildew smell. Their team quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a detailed plan to fix it. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and even took the time to explain how to maintain a dry basement moving forward. It’s been about a week now, and despite the rain, my basement remains completely dry. No more stressing every time it rains! This was hands-down one of the best home improvement investments I’ve made. Highly recommend!

My roof had gotten old and worn. The felt had peeled and cracked and I had several damaged tiles. Whenever a sustained rain would occur I would find a new leak coming through my ceiling.

Prior to calling Waterproofing and Roofing I would get a quick patch whenever I got a leak, however it became unsustainable to keep doing that and I needed a more permanent approach and I was concerned with the cost of a full roof repair.

I used Google to look up some of the roofing companies in the valley, however many of the biggest companies were backlogged to several months before they could address my roof.

I saw the Waterproofing and Roofing and noticed that the company owner responded quickly to complaints and was quite worried about his customer concerns. Most of the reviews were also excellent.

I called them up and found out that I could get my roof fixed within the month and I could get the whole roof done for less then what I was worried the costs would be.I ended up getting my entire roof waterproofed also so I can reduce the chances of any leaks in the future, The crew was just as fantastic cleaning up after themselves after each work day also were super friendly and hardworking. I had a great experience and would fully recommend Waterproofing and Roofing.

I discovered that my balcony was leaking due to the rain from last year. Surfacing and Waterproofing were recommended to me by my brother, and since I trusted my brother and, I didn't bother to shop around for pricing. I immediately called them to give me an estimate, and if the cost to waterproof my balcony was reasonable, I planned to have them resurface and waterproof it, which it was.

I must say that they did a wonderful job on waterproofing my balcony. I'm thrilled with the color, the surface texture (which is easy to clean by simply hosing it down or sweeping), and most importantly, there are no more leaks.

My neighbors have also seen the finished product and inquired about it. I wholeheartedly recommended them, and will be using them in the future for waterproofing the rest of my balcony’s!!!

Itay and his crew completed our new garage roof, and also replaced the roof on our home and shed. They did all of this work in about a week . I'm beyond impressed by the quality of their work, their professionalism, timeliness, competitive pricing and attention to detail. Itay inspected our existing roof thoroughly and caught repairs needed, some we didn't even know existed. I'm so grateful for his keen eye. After this experience, Waterproofing and Roofing has earned our business for any and all of our future roofing needs and we will definitely be recommending friends and family to do the same.

I had ongoing issues with water seeping into our commercial building through the balconies, causing damage to walls and ceilings below. Every time it rained, moisture would find its way through cracks, pooling in unwanted areas and leading to costly repairs. After getting the balconies professionally waterproofed, the difference has been night and day!
The team did an incredible job sealing off every potential entry point, preventing water from penetrating the structure. Even during heavy rain, there are no leaks, and the building stays completely dry. They were professional, efficient, and completed the job on time without disrupting daily operations. If you're dealing with water intrusion from balconies, don't wait-this service is a game-changer. Highly recommended!

We recently had below-grade waterproofing done on our home, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. We had been dealing with moisture issues in our basement for a while, and we knew we needed to get it properly sealed before things got worse.

Waterproofing and Roofing was fantastic. From the start, they took the time to explain what was causing the problem and what needed to be done to fix it for the long run. They were super thorough, digging down to the foundation, applying a high-quality waterproofing membrane, and making sure everything was properly sealed. They even took extra steps to improve drainage around the house so we wouldn’t run into the same issues again.

The whole process was handled professionally, and they kept the worksite as clean as possible, considering the amount of digging involved. Now that the job is done, our basement has stayed completely dry—such a huge relief!

A part of my roof was leaking into my basement through the heater vent pipe. I had a few people come out to look at it that had no clue what could be causing it as everything looked fine at the heater vent. Others would say they are coming and never show up. I am still monitoring if it leaks during the rain, but this Surfacing and Waterproofing was the only one to find that the sealant on my roof tiedown anchor was the likely cause. The anchor is on another side of the roof, but water can run from the rafters to the heater vent. I'll monitor things over time, but the troubleshooting ability that they showed was top notch and they gave some great tips for fixing some other problems with my house.

After dealing with a constantly damp crawl space and worsening humidity in my home, I knew I needed professional waterproofing help. I’m so glad I found Waterproofing and Roofing! From the initial inspection to the final walkthrough, their team was nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly thorough in identifying the problem and offered a clear, detailed plan to fix it.

The crew worked efficiently, installing a sump pump and sealing off my crawl space with a vapor barrier. They even took the time to explain how everything worked and what I could do to maintain it properly. The difference has been night and day—no more musty smells, no more moisture issues, and my home even feels more comfortable overall! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert waterproofing services. They are true professionals who stand by their work!

I highly recommend Waterproofing and Roofing for any waterproofing problems you may have. The team that came to my home was very professional and knowledgeable not only of my particular case but of the entire process which they explained to me in detail. They had to tear out some of my slab porch to fix my particular problem and they repaired it expertly as well. They are also much more affordable than any other company I called during my search and I called many. If you are facing problems with waterproofing don't hesitate to call them.

The best company we've dealt with so far! We had a serious leak on our roof deck, and Waterproofing N Roofing handled it quickly. This was one of the smoothest experiences I've had in a long time.

Their team was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly, used high-quality materials and left our place spotless. It's been months, and we've had no issues, even during heavy rain.

Highly recommend Waterproofing N Roofing for their excellent work and top-notch customer service. Thank you for resolving our issue so efficiently!

Itay and staff did a great job with our roof. From the the first call to the completion of the job their service has been phenomenal. The staff assisted with the insurance claim paperwork. Which was great. Itay came to my home and gave a spectacular presentation. It was very thorough. I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done. He did not try to upsale us he was very honest and provided sound advice. The roofing crew was prompt. The roof was done in 4 days the yard and surrounding areas were left clean and swept. The contractor that did the gutters was friendly, prompt and efficient. Also after the work was done they sent back a crew to inspect the work and inside our attic. We love our new roof. This company is great. I highly recommend. I'm looking forward to referring plenty of family and friends.

I had some water damage to a balcony and contacted a few companies to provide a repair scope and waterproofing job done. Itay from Waterproofing n Roofing was by far the most responsive of everyone I contacted and provided the clearest description of what the repair options were and the pros/cons of each. Itay also took the time to inspect the rest of my house and identified some areas of concern with hairline cracks and peeling sealant. When Itay and his team came to complete the work scope they took the time to explain the different steps in the process and provided intermittent updates as the work progressed. Overall I am extremely impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of the work they did. They will be the first company I'll reach out to for any future waterproofing or roofing needs and would highly recommend to anyone needing some work done!
