Our house in Burbank started having rodent issues after a nearby building was demolished. I called Rodents Stop and spoke with Desiree. She was calm, informed, and didn’t oversell anything. Karin led the crew that showed up two days later. Miguel and Gustavo worked fast and clean, and they replaced damaged insulation without leaving debris behind. Shay took extra time to explain what had attracted the rodents and how they sealed up the entry points. No signs of pests since. You can tell they actually care about doing it right the first time.

I had Rodents Stop out to Woodland Hills after we found a nest in the shed and feared the house might be compromised too. Israel and Shay did a full inspection and found signs in the attic. They handled the insulation removal and cleanup, and installed a much better type of insulation than we had before. Mario sealed off three different vents and explained how rodents had gotten in. Desiree coordinated everything and even helped me with HOA questions. These people know what they’re doing and they back it up with real service.

We’re in Northridge and found a rodent trapped in our utility closet. I got it out, but wanted to make sure there wasn’t a bigger problem. Called Rodents Stop and Jocelyne scheduled us quickly. Shay inspected the attic and found droppings and torn insulation. Karin and Miguel cleaned the area and sealed access near the roofline. Carolina made sure everything was done right. Haven’t had another issue and I feel better knowing it was checked thoroughly.

Moved into a fixer-upper in Van Nuys and immediately started finding droppings in the pantry and garage. Called Rodents Stop and they jumped into action. Carolina set me up for an inspection the next day. Gustavo and Miguel walked the perimeter, pointed out all the entry points, and handled the sealing and attic cleaning quickly. They were super respectful of our space and didn’t leave a mess. I appreciated how detailed the work was — and how quiet our nights are now. Would absolutely use them again.

I have used Rodent Stop for years and I must say they are the best. The most recent was a major job, but Miguel (and Miguel) spent the day going above and beyond. They checked and proofed all areas in and out of the house, and cleaned up to perfection, as well as being polite and explaining things as they went along. I tell everyone this is the best investment I ever made. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I cannot speak to the efficacy of this service, as I did not hire them. What I will speak to are their predatory practices toward people.

When Shai arrived to complete the inspection, he did not introduce himself, nor did he explain what the inspection would entail. He did not give me time to explain my situation, nor did he ask any questions about our current state. He immediately started looking around and making comments about things that were not even in the general area of where our problem was. I tried to explain what he was commenting on, and he blew me off. I made another attempt to explain the situation we were in, and it did not seem as if he cared about what I had to say. He spoke to me in a condescending way, and I felt disrespected immediately and for the entirety of his visit.

Shai looked in my attic, came back down, and launched into a very dramatic speech regarding the state of our infestation. He then provided a quote that was seven times the price of the other quotes I had received to resolve this issue. When I told him this, he mocked me and said, “Well, how many quotes are you going to get?” I will 100 percent get as many quotes as it takes to understand how the industry goes about solving this type of problem.

Shai implied that we had a very serious issue, but in the same conversation slipped up and said, “It’s probably not that severe, we can fix it.” He refused to go on the roof to check those access points, even though we have a brick structure that would be very difficult to breach otherwise. He also missed a potential access point that every other exterminator noticed and pointed out to me. In fact, he did not point anything out to me at all. He simply quoted an extremely high price while stressing the potential mess that would require specialized cleaning to return the attic to a clean state and add new insulation. I received quotes for that as well, and Rodent Stop was also twice as expensive to clean and reinstall new insulation.

It appears that this company relies on fear to pressure people into choosing them. I do not appreciate this sales strategy. We are already scared enough when dealing with this sort of issue. Why on earth would I accept this from someone who is supposed to be helping me?

Proceed with caution, and do not let them manipulate you. Get several quotes so you can make an informed decision.

They also addressed the drop ceilings, replacing contaminated panels and ensuring no nesting sites remained. The professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. Since their service, we've had no rodent sightings, and our facility feels secure. I highly recommend Rodents Stop for their thorough and effective approach to commercial pest control.
