Coastal Solar just finished putting solar panels up on our house and they did an amazing job. They made sure the panels were placed where we wanted and the conduit from the roof to the electric panel was well hidden. We had another installer for a previous house and the experience was so much better this time around. From start to finish, they made sure everything was installed and working properly. I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone needing solar panels in the future.

Coastal Solar provided excellent work to remove and reinstall my panels after getting my roof replaced. Matt went beyond and recommended a local roofer and the process went very smoothly. Matt and his guys were respectful and worked very clean. I would highly recommend this local business.

Taylor did a Great job installing a new 5G Cell Card on by backup battery system. After He finished the Cell Card installation, Taylor told me that he noticed that by batteries were starting to swell and needed to be replaced. Since they were under warranty, he informed me that the replacement was free of charge. He contacted LG and got the batteries in 2 weeks and installed them today. He was also very polite and answered all my questions. I'm Totally Happy Taylors Fast Professional work.

Coastal Solar is the only way to go! I have had two houses upgrade to solar and could not be happier. Professional service from a gr8 group. They also came in and upgraded my electrical outlets to accommodate my new appliances.

Costal Solar did an excellent job installing our EV charger in my garage. They were very fast to respond to my initial request for a quote and were helpful when I chose to get the construction permit from the city myself. They came out as soon as I had the permit approved and installed the charger on the same day.

I would absolutely recommend them for electrical work and will call them again if I need any work done for myself.

Very impressed with Coastal Solar's service. Having had a bad experience with another company requiring a repair, it is comforting to find such a trustworthy company. Working with Taylor on our repair was great. Highly recommended.

I've been meaning to write this for quite some time now... Can't say enough good things about this company. We had Coastal Solar install our system in 2019, after getting 3-4 bids, (they were right in the middle). We could have gone with a less expensive, big named company (who works with Costco), but decided we wanted to give our business to a locally owned and operated company. Am I glad we did. From start to finish, the project was completely trouble free. Matt, the owner, has a very casual, no pressure approach (which was quite different than the other companies we spoke with). All of the workers/installers were completely respectful of our family and home. It was a completely stress and worry free process. Of course, in the past few years, there have been a few small hiccups with our system here and there. I would not expect a large system like ours to be completely trouble free. But any time I've had an issue, or just a question, Matt has answered my phone call or text personally and solved the problem within minutes and without hesitation. Recently we asked him to come out and take a look at something that I had a question about. Not only did someone come out the same day, but they upgraded the part I had a question about, without charging me a dime. We never would have received such quick and personal customer service with a big corporate outfit. We've also referred multiple friends to them, a few of whom have ultimately gone with Coastal, and they too have told me that they couldn't be happier with their decision. I will continue to refer anyone who asks to Coastal, and I would encourage anyone reading this to give them a call.

Coastal installed my solar system with 3 batteries in April of this year. Brandon came out and looked at my house and considered my need for a whole house system. He was responsive to all my questions and provided a quote and system package analysis very quickly. We reviewed it and had a lot of questions which he answered immediately. We signed their contract shortly after that. Jake was the construction foreman and he came out to the property and made sure the equipment would fit where we wanted it. He and his crew were on time, cleaned up the site every day got the system done in a timely manner!! Taylor was the equipment engineer who did a fantastic job and made sure the system ran properly!! Ezequiel, the project manager answered all my calls and managed all the permits and SCE paperwork perfectly!! Coastal’s team were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who’s interested in a solar powered system!!. Plus they are a local company that have been around a long time!!

I was very impressed by Coastal Solar and would highly recommend them. It took me a long time to chose a company but I felt very comfortable with Matt . He was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I must have called him more than 10 times. Also the team was very supportive and clean during the project. They made sure I approved all aspects of the project before they started drilling holes! Thank you Zeek and Grace for being so responsive to my many questions. Another plus is that they are local and they have no problem coming back if there are issues! They even did a little painting to help blend everything in. I couldn’t be more happier 😊

The actual install was tricky, but the crew handled it like pros. They were polite, respectful of our property and installed all beautifully in less than stellar conditions.

Matt & Ian provided terrific follow-up, with a walk through of the system and the panels involved.

We are totally stoked to have the system in and in such a painless manner.

I was extremely satisfied with the work that was done by Coastal Solar. Taylor Alex was very professional and was very thorough in explaining the issue with my system.
I had received an estimate from Energy Aid that was based on an erroneous assessment of the problem with my solar system. Taylor was able to determine what the real problem was with the system. I highly recommend Coastal Solar.

Taylor was amazing to work with. Even though we had some issues with our battery and the inverter, Taylor was able to help me work with the manufacturers to get replacements for my system at no cost. He did a great job on the installation and even took care of the programing of the new systems. Great guy!

Costal Solar did and R&R (removal and reinstall) of my solar panels to accommodate a new roof. Reasonable quote for the work which they adhered to. They seamlessly coordinated with the roofer ensuring my system's down time was minimized. Excellent professionalism on site. I highly recommend them.

I looked at several solar companies for solar and battery back-up. Coastal was superior to the rest. The sales rep knew more than the technical reps at the competition. The installation team was professional and experienced. The team installing the transfer and battery equipment were the best. But most of all the results were exactly what I wanted. The system does exactly what was expected and promised. I chose Enphase equipment. The web interface and system performance pages are excellent.

We just had a whole solar system installed by the Coastal Solar team. Everyone we had contact with was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and polite. Coastal Solar did an amazing job installing my new panels and Powerwall. They arrive on time, the employees are very courteous and knowledgeable and they take great pride in their work. At the end of each day they clean up and sweep up so you would never know they were there. I highly recommend them!

Coastal Solar installed my Tesla battery backup, I already had solar installed. They were capable, competent, friendly and professional. They always called to make appointments and always came on time. Within a few days of cutting over, SCE shutdown power for safety purposes but I had full power from the batteries and for the next two power outages. I was almost embarrassed that while my neighbors were dark for days at a time, I had full power. I could not recommend Coastal Solar more.

I’ve been a customer of coastal solar since 2013 and have nothing to say but good things about my experiences with them. They are a family owned business and it shows in their customer service. The riege family and Matt in particular have been attentive to my needs, be it an inverter replacement, adding additional panels or helping me with setting up WiFi production monitoring. They even went above and beyond to prepare a report for my insurance company in regards to a claim and didn’t ask for any compensation. There are a lot of solar companies out there but none even approach the level of coastal solar.
