Thank you to Golden State Builders for doing an incredible job! I had new siding installed and they replaced rotted fascia. They are like a swat team, coming in and doing the work so quickly with such high quality and then cleaning everything up, leaving only the new beautiful workmanship. The team of three guys worked so hard and diligently, from early in the day to evening. I appreciate they were focused on getting the job done so that it could be completed well (ahead of schedule!) and not linger. They also had good attention to detail and expertise. Communications were timely and helpful. Ben checked in frequently to inspect the work and ensured I was completely satisfied. The results exceeded my expectations, I’ll for sure be going to them again for my next house project.

Ben came to us in January as we were thinking of possibly landscaping our backyard (that desperately needed help). Ben was so incredibly patient and presented several options while working within our budget. He followed up with us every month and finally in July we decided to move forward which happened to be the best decision we ever made! We were quoted by 2 other contractors that were literally twice as expensive and practically half the work! He turned our backyard into a paradise that I never thought could look like as it did at completion!! He implemented a vision and brought it to life!! I am very pleased with the work Golden State Builders did on rebuilding a 40 year old wood deck. The project was done with great skill, and I love the look of the new Trex decking! Project manager Kaleem was very personable and accommodating, and the workers did an excellent job transforming my back yard.

Benjamin Clack came to my home twice in order to get a repair plan that meet my need. After knowing that I do not want a perfect fix, he brought a crew member who actually does deck work to discuss with me about how to repair so that the plan can meet my need and the company's reliability. Ben is very responsive and responsible. He even talked with his boss to use left over lumber in order to save money for me. The quote he gave me is very fair considering Golden State is an legitimate company with license and insurance.

Golden State Builders (GSB) is the last two estimates we had for the project of replacing a backyard deck. Ari from GSB came to estimate, we were so impressed with his professionalism to write up proposal in a hurry to meet our deadline to make a decision. Later on, they offered 12 months no-interest loan which sealed the deal.

They started and finished the project right on the time frame given. Also, throughout the process, Ari has been so accommodating with our unusual situations. They also set up WhatsApp chat group to keep management, accounting, and job supervisor in the loop. Carmen from accounting has been very helpful to set up financing and Jose and Jonathan (job supervisors) are very detail-oriented to do exactly what we wanted.

In summary, it is a great experience with a reliable and responsive contractor.

Golden State Builders Group did a phenomenal job installing new siding on my house. From the initial assessment to the final walkthrough the job was done very efficiently and skillfully. Cesar and his crew were real craftsmen. The seams between the siding panels were barely visible, the paint lines were perfect and they painted all of the trim, whether it bordered the new siding or not. They left the site very clean and were done a day early. We are very pleased and will certainly be using GSBG for any future exterior remodeling work.

Paz was a wonderful project manager! When I started the project, not gonna lie, I was dreading dealing with contractors who would act like used car salesmen. But Paz was nothing short of amazing. She came prepared with all the samples, was very organized, and overall so pleasant to work with. The pricing was fair and transparent. And the accounting team was on top of their stuff too.
I also enjoyed working with Jose Canel, who came to do the work and was attentive to details. When we had some scheduling issues due to our HOA, he was flexible and reprioritized the order of the work being done very quickly, so the project continued without significant delays. He also explained stuff very thoroughly and helped us make the best decisions about the paint and the materials. We appreciated his professional opinion that was delivered with utmost customer care.

I sought out four quotes for my siding project on my house. Three of the quotes were very similar in price and one was very high (triple) compared to what the other quotes came back with. I asked for references and to see photos of previous work. I had questions about worse case and best-case scenarios. Ben from Golden State Builders came out for the quote. He got back to me with answers to my questions quickly and assured me he would be in charge of my remodel and would make sure everything was handled well. I really liked how on top of everything Ben was and that his communication was so responsive and understandable. Ben made sure I understood the process for my project and let me know who was coming out, when and projected length of time to complete each stage of my siding project.
