Our HOA needed a large wall of cedar shingle siding replaced and a recurring window leak fixed. I interviewed several experienced siding contractors and chose Golden State Builders. Not only did they offer the best price, but I believe their experience outweighed the others. I was impressed with the answers to my questions and their patience with explaining details. They were also willing to start the job on our schedule, not theirs. Before hiring them, I contacted many of their references, used Google satellite to see their siding workmanship and, of course, read online reviews. Every reference was happy with the quality of their work and the online reviews were impressive. The quality/appearance, efficiency of their work is superior compared to other of our past siding projects and, as the HOA project manager, I appreciated their follow through on special requests and the care they took on keeping the sidewalks and common areas free of debris. I first interviewed Ben, but my primary point of contact after we signed the contract was with Carmen. She was available to me every step of the way - responding to my early morning and weekend questions. She's represents the best in customer service. I wish all companies had a Carmen! I have placed them on our preferred vendor list and won't hesitate to hire them again when we need more siding work done on our 50 year old buildings.

Golden State replaced my old redwood deck that was rotting away. I was impressed with the Carmen and Johnathan who sold me on the idea of a Trex deck. The work was outstanding and the installers paid attention to every little detail. Appreciated that each night they cleaned up. This is a 400 square foot deck that took about 2 weeks to complete. I highly recommend Golden State Builders Group.

In order to fire harden my Oakland hills home, I just had Golden State Builders Group replace my cedar shingles with Woodtone Hardie Board straight shingles (Old Cherry color). The shingles look fantastic which has also been confirmed by my neighbors. It was well worth the wait to get this particular shingle. The crew was fantastic and true professionals who knew what they were doing. I also installed Hardie soffit to cover my eaves. While no guarantee that my house won't burn down during a wildfire, I feel a little extra comfort in knowing that I'm that much more protected. We had a great experience NAB Construction! Our pickleball court had broken concrete on one end, and was too short on the other. NAB removed all the bad concrete and replaced it with pavers, and on the other side of the court, added 5 feet of concrete where we had lawn, as well as adding to our existing retaining wall. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project. I'm very satisfied with the results of this project, and would not hesitate to recommend NAB construction to others.

NAB Construction did a great job for me. They were supposed to only install pavers for our driveway but they did such a great job that we hired them again to construct our retaining wall, as well as extending the driveway. The managing director  streamlined the whole process and was always available whenever we reached out to him.

My wife and I initially did not believe the timeline that was provided for the scope of work that needed to be done (1/3 an acre, combination of pavers, turf; requiring steps and work around columns). But Nader and the folks at NAB construction stuck to the deadline and completed the work on schedule. We were equally impressed at the attention to detail -- with Nader as project lead constantly reviewing the plans with his team to make sure the specifications were as discussed.

We hired NAB for a renovation of our backyard in November 2021. They were straightforward, responsible and trustworthy. The project took a little longer then planned due to the holidays and covid but we are very pleased with the results. Nate guided us through the process and provided thorough explanations for all of our questions. If we have another renovation project, we would love to work with them again.

I am a designer and also just completed a full remodel due to a pre-pandemic fire. My final project was to redo and fix the concrete retaining wall that holds a slopped front yard and stairs to my house , which sits above the street.
I saw their work down the street at a neighbor’s -friend and was already impressed,
They came out as soon as contacted them and they gave me a few estimates as there were several areas to fix. Working with my budget they assured me that they could work on the main section in the time line I needed.
In just one week they completed the work. Extra staffed the crew on my project.

We felt we should have known NAB Construction Inc earlier! Nate Biron, the owner of NAB Construction Inc, is very responsive and punctual. His communication is unheard of in the field of constructions. We NEVER had such a contractor who could respond to us days and nights, and even weekends!

Nate gave us a docusign to inform us of the cost and duration of the work. Every time additional cost arose, eg., we asked for a playground pad and it was not originally mentioned in the work, he gave us the additional cost prior to proceeding so we wouldn't get a surprise at the end. His communication/explanation was very professional and thorough.

The work itself is top notch. His crews worked hard from early in the morning till the evening every day. We had about a 700 sq concrete yard and wanted to turn it into an artificial turf so our kids can play. The concrete was pretty thick and wired throughout. They removed it all within a couple of days and even smoothed out the concrete surface that was vertical to the yard. And the best part of this was that they finished the work in 5 days!!! Can you imagine having the work done in 5 days??? Our other landscape jobs have been taking over a year and it's still not done yet. When they were done with the job, they cleaned up all the wastes and their belongings that no single nails or debris left on the site. It is such a pleasant way to complete the work.

We are planning to have a backyard make-over and we will be happy to ask NAB Construction Inc. to come back again to work with us on the future project. HIGHLY recommended!

NAB Construction crew did a great Job in a timely (1 week) and professional manner; easy to work, showed up on time, cleaned up, and completed the projects as scheduled. Overall it was a great experience working, installation went well. We do recommend NAB Construction for any hardscaping projects.

We are very happy that we found Nader for our paver project. He is very responsive, and the price offered is very competitive. Nader and his crew did a great job transforming our backyard. He answered all our questions and helped us to find the best solution. The team was not only hard-working but was friendly and really respectful of our house. We will definitely use Nader again!

When I drive up to our house I can't believe it's the same house.

We decided to go with NAB construction because Nader seemed so knowledgeable and confidant during our first meeting. We walked around our property and talked in detail about what we would like to have done. He took notes and soon we had an estimate and an image of our house with a digital rendering of how the property would look after the project was completed.

This was a big project and included demolition and complete replacement of the concrete with pavers, pool revision (new tile/coping and walls ) new turf, irrigation, fencing and a pergola. The NAB team was here onsite everyday (Monday-Friday) working hard to get our project completed. It was so exciting to drive up each day and see the progress. The construction crew always cleaned up before they left and the tools and equipment that were left were always neat and tidy. Nader was onsite most mornings and was happy to walk around with me and answer any questions. He was also quick to answer my phone calls.

When the project was completed Nader and I did a final walk though. Only after he knew that I was completely satisfied did he send me an invoice for the final payment.

There were no change orders along the way or any surprises with the final invoice. The amount on the contract that we signed at the start of the project was the amount that we paid.

This was a great experience from start to finish. If I have another project in the future, I won't get any other bids. I will hire NAB construction.

NAB Construction successfully completed a large landscaping project at my home. Nate and his team worked closely with the landscape architect. Included were two retaining walls which were blended into the hardscape. There also was a new long path and seating area done in pavers and concrete, cedar benches, a new driveway in pavers and new front steps. The lot is on the side of a hill which made the work perhaps more challenging but there were no problems. The workmanship was high quality, efficient, conscientious, and friendly.

Nate and his team were really great. He is very communicative and present and does as he says. We just did our internal remodel with other contractors and it was a very different and disappointing experience. The outside remodel with Nate was a completely different experience. Wholeheartedly recommend them.

Nate was great to work with and his crew was excellent as well. We just moved in and have a few projects ongoing with different contractors. NAB had the biggest project by far and managed to finish first. Super happy with the results, and excited to make use of our new patio/yard once it warms up.

NAB Construction rebuilt our long and steep driveway on a hillside. They stabilized the driveway with piers and retaining walls and this was done quickly considering there were a few surprises once the old driveway was removed. Our driveway is now strong and solid. In addition, NAB's crew was extremely respectful of our neighbors. We live on a very small/narrow road and neighbors were always able to pass even when cement was being delivered. Also, NAB's communication was great. We would receive daily updates and Nate was available day or night for questions/concerns. Not only is our driveway sound, but NAB added lighting for our driveway and our yard. It looks fantastic. I will definitely be using NAB Construction again.
