I have to agree with the majority of reviewers, this company sucks big time. I have no choice but to use them, I am renting an expensive condo on the beach and the landlord uses a home warranty, this is the only contractor they would send. I had a dishwasher fail and show an error code. It took a week to get them out, then the only reason they didn’t blow me off completely was I had a photo of the error code. They claimed to order a sensor, but two weeks later when I called they were quite rude and referred me back to the home warranty company, and I had my claim “elevated.” I finally have an appointment for next week. The dishwasher will have been broken for five weeks. If you have the option, use any other company you can find for home appliances.

AHS assigned them to do repairs to my Samsung Refrigerator Ice machine tech didn't absolute nothing and lied to AHS about the work would give a zero star if I could... dont use at all

Stay away at all costs. Truly one of the most subpar experiences I have ever had. Whether it is through a home warranty or any other insurance, request someone else. This is not worth it at all. Very disappointed.

Worst customer service ever. The person who called to schedule the appointment, Ivan, was one of the rudest people i have ever been in contact with in customer service. My parents are elderly and do not speak English and he was very rude because my parents hung up and did bot understand calling them old and he should be only reaching out one time. He started coming at me for defending the way he was coming at my parents and refused to transfer me to a manager.

First American has assigned Ukon to fix a dishwasher in our rental homes twice now. I have to admit, I am discouraged by the lack of communication. However, I'm leaving 3 stars because both times we've had a service call, Ukon has fixed the appliance. At the end of the day, that's what is going to count for most people reading these reviews. Ukon does repair appliances competently.
Why the 2 star deduction? For landlords, we need to know if an issue is fixed because we are legally obligated to respond to issues and provide functioning appliances. When I called Ukon to find out if the dishwasher was fixed, they refused to tell me if they visited my home or did any repairs. Ukon told me to call First American if I wanted information. When I called First American, they told me to call Ukon because they didn't have a report on file. First American was surprised that Ukon wouldn't talk to me. Ukon never filed a report so I still have no idea what the issue was. This was incredibly frustrating when I need information about caring for a rental home.

1 Star AVOID THIS COMPANY – Fraudulent Reporting & Negligent Service. I hired Ukon Appliance Repair through American Home Shield (AHS) to fix my washer and dryer since they are the only 2 star company that AHS uses and the experience was a nightmare. Here’s why:

1. False Diagnoses & Fraudulent Reports:

After three visits (Feb 7, Feb 18, and Feb 28, 2025), their technician admitted my washer had serious mechanical failures (drum damage, rusting) and needed replacement.

Shockingly, Ukon’s owner (who never inspected my washer) sent AHS a report blaming a “dirty door gasket” and claiming “no breakdowns.” My washer was spotless (photo proof attached), and the technician confirmed this!

2.Deliberate Delays & Negligence:

They wasted weeks with temporary fixes and refused to address the actual problem.The defective washer ruined my clothing and sheets due to their incompetence.
3. Zero Accountability:

Ukon ignored their own technician’s recommendations and doubled down on lies to avoid covering repairs.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. Their dishonesty cost me time, money, and damaged belongings. Check other reviews—this isn’t an isolated issue.

Save yourself the hassle—choose a reputable company.

Technician arrived. Said nothing wrong with our washing machine. Just had to load it a certain way. He left I loaded it that way. Didn’t work

Terrible service. Told AHS that I overloaded my washer and it couldn’t be repaired as I ruined it. This took tech less than 5 min to determine this. Alas…second opinion from different company that I have used in the pass came out thoroughly checked it then came back with the part and now my washer is working.
Don’t waste your time and money on Ukon

My experience with Ukon Appliance Repair was shockingly bad. Arthur came to our home and acted rude and insulting from the start. I truly cannot believe the company employs someone who behaves like this. He showed up, refused to work, insulted my wife, and left almost immediately. It was astonishing.

Our microwave is covered by American Home Shield and Ukon was assigned to repair it. The issue is that after being unplugged for hours, the microwave will function for a minute and then the screen freezes and the appliance stops responding. We provided all this information because it is obviously necessary for diagnosing the problem.

As soon as Arthur walked in reeking of cigarettes, my wife began explaining the situation. After a quick glance he said it is "pretty stupid to make me come out here when it still works schedule again when its fully broken". She tried to clarify that it stops working after a minute, but he was already heading for the door. He never attempted to examine anything. "How long do you expect me to stay here waiting for it"?

My wife waited through a four hour appointment window and he could not even spend a few moments checking the appliance.

I called the company right away. No answer. I left a message. No response at all. I contacted American Home Shield to tell them that we paid the one hundred dollar service fee, the microwave remains broken, and Arthur is not allowed back in our home. They must send someone else. I am stunned by how thoroughly Ukon Appliance Repair failed.

First, I had to reschedule twice because of my job and they were VERY polite and accommodating. Constantine showed up on time, knew my exact issues (ignitor). Fixed and replaced several stripped screws as well, and explained the issue to me perfectly. I would definitely recommend Ukon Appliances!!!

The technician arrived on time, within the scheduled window, completed the diagnosis, and fixed everything on the spot. To my surprise, he even had the necessary parts with him. Now my dryer works like new!

I had a really good experience with Ukon Appliance and their technician, Dmitri. The first time they came out, I was given a window of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. I asked if they could text me when they were on their way since I work just 10 minutes away. On the day of service, I got a text that they were on their way — but my doorbell rang at the same time. I explained to Dmitri that I was at work and just needed a little notice so I could meet him. He said he couldn’t wait but would come back after finishing another job nearby. He gave me an exact time and actually came back right when he said he would.

Once he started the job, Dmitri immediately knew what was wrong with my washer just by pressing on the drum, and within minutes he diagnosed the issue with my stove as well. He ordered the needed parts and scheduled a follow-up. It took about three weeks without my stove and washer, but when he came back, he texted me ahead of time (which I really appreciated) and did a great job on both appliances. Now they’re both working like new.

I’m honestly not used to getting things fixed through American Home Shield since many vendors tend to deny my claims for odd reasons, but I’m really happy Ukon and Dmitri handled the job professionally and got everything repaired. Plus, he was super friendly to my dog — talking to her and petting her throughout the repairs, which was a nice touch.

Overall, I highly recommend Ukon Appliance and Dmitri for their professionalism, communication, and quality work.

I hired Vertex to repair our dryer, which was taking up to 4 hours to dry a load. Oleg was quick, courteous, and did a great job fixing the problem. I would absolutely hire Vertex again for any appliance problem, and anything else that they have experienced repairing.

Vertex provides truly 5 star service! I had an immediate problem with a leaky fridge, and their technician responded super fast and also managed to come early, on a Sunday. Though the repair wasn't that simple, it was nevertheless done quickly, and at a fair price. These guys are really good!

Amazing! Oleg came promptly, fixed our dryer quickly and was very nice/informative, answering all of my questions. He also cleaned up beyond what was necessary. Highly recommend!

Believe me...I read the reviews on Oleg before requesting his service on my 1 year and 3mos.old Dryer. He is very prompt..honest.. clean.. reasonable labor charge and Professional . Hire him and you won't be disappointed!!

Oleg has consistently been a lifesaver for me. He responds incredibly fast and is always able to come either the same day or the next. Recently, he checked out my
portable washer, which turned out to be a simple fix. When my dryer stopped heating, he quickly replaced a knob, solving the issue right away. Most recently, my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator started overcooling due to a faulty cooling sensor. Oleg diagnosed and repaired it quickly and efficiently.
