Two gentlemen came to our condo, one seemed very inexperienced and I had to supervise them. I felt I had to stay with them because the omitted windows that may have needed a little extra effort. I had to remind them to do these windows. The job took them less than 30 minutes. Frankly, they made me feel very uncomfortable because they were in a big hurry and could have easily broken something. I requested they work together and not independently because I felt the need too keep and eye on them, so nothing would be broken and the job would be done thoroughly. Then, I asked them for the bill, the older man would not give it to me. At the end of the joy I asked again and the older man started speaking rapidly in Spanish. I asked him for the 3rd time for the bill. He said I had a lot of windows and it would be $250.00's. I told him I would give him $200.00. He said all right at $200.00. Then, he handed me the bill and it was for $150.00, which is what I paid last time Joe's windows did the same job for $150.00. I feel this is dishonest and they didn't know it but I always tip. They didn't have to trick me into tipping them. I wish I could find anyone else. Do not leave them alone in your home!
