American Maid has been cleaning my home now for a few months, and I am so grateful that I have found them. I like the concept of keeping a consistency with each “cleaning team”, meaning you will get the same cleaning people (usually two people) all the time, unless you are dissatisfied and then they will send you a different team. I also love the fact that a manager with 15+ year of experience accompanies each team that comes into my home, that gives me a level of confidence that allows me to give them a key for access, whether I am home or not. We live in Blackstone, and we have heard horrible stories from some of our neighbors dealing with unethical cleaning companies. American Maid is professional, insured and bonded, they truly know how to clean and sanitize your home, they’re extremely courteous, they’re always on time, they’re great with your pets, and they always exceed my expectations! Thank you American Maid for your trustworthiness and wonderful service over these past few months.

As a US veteran myself I was so pleased and amazed to see what this company did for my home. My wife and I went through 3-4 big franchise cleaning companies in the past several years, and the problem that we have seen is that you get 1 or 2 good cleanings out of 10, and it is because it comes down to the individuals that clean your home, and NOT the company that you hire. We kept asking these big franchise companies to please send us the same cleaning crew, and they all said that it couldn’t be done. So, we fired them all and hired American Maid, they ONLY company that will guarantee to send you the same cleaning crew to your home, that way you get the same great results, peace of mind and your pets get used to them (by the way, my pets love my cleaning crew!!). We also love the fact that this company and their workers actually love what they do, and that maybe is what sets this company apart from the rest? Anyway, thank you for all that you do for me and my family!

I just want to give a shout out to American Maid Carpet Cleaning and their House Cleaning Division! I called 15 different companies in the area since I had an urgent request to clean one of my rentals, which was left in a really bad shape by the tenants, with extremely dirty carpets, dirty bathrooms/kitchen and all you can imagine! It was so bad that I couldn’t even show it to some prospects and interested parties. Erica, the owner of American Maid, was the only one that got back to me within a few hours, and she answered all of my questions and set me up with carpet cleaning and a thorough house cleaning within 2 days. They did an outstanding job!! They were hard working, professional, efficient and respectful of our place. BUT most importantly, the old carpets look like NEW again and the house is incredibly clean, sanitized and looks amazing!! After all the cleanings were done I signed a long-term contract with a great new tenant! Thank you so much Erica and American Maid! And by the way: Erica never over-charged me for the short-term appointment booking. And their prices are so reasonable, way below what others charge in this area. I told my realtor to start using and recommending this company to all of his clients. I know I will recommend them to everyone I know. Again, thank you American Maid for all of your help and professionalism with my rental!

I tried to call but a kid answered and said that she doesn't subscribe to that service. What? Again, I don't subscribe to that service. I'm certain it was the right number. So, I don't know, if you could get past the kid, maybe you can get something cleaned.

Merry Maids is making an effort to improve the quality of service. I do feel that the price is much too high for the service I receive. Everyone is always very kind and respectful but cleaning is just “okay” most of the time.

Yes ! It was FIVE STAR experience !!

If I could give this company negative stars I would. They charged my card without authorization. They were late and had to reschedule. They didn't vacuum or mop the floors. I had to request they come back. I also have pictures and videos of what they consider "clean." I spoke with the owner who was absolutely disgusting to speak with. He called me a liar multiple times. He raised his voice over and over and said I was not a good person. He wouldn't believe me that they didn't even bring a mop to clean. I have all the proof needed, pictures and videos. When I spoke with him he informed me that my card was already charged 300.00 without my knowledge. I have the phone call recorded and also have the recording of the next time I called in when it clearly states " this call may be monitored for quality assurance" which he also denied and referenced me lying about. I had to ask him numerous times to lower his tone and speak with respect as I was doing. It was like speaking to a 10 year old. I will be telling everyone to stay far away from this man Tom and his cleaning buiness. They are HORRIBLE!!!

With a child and both of us working, time is in short supply. Merry Maids provides a service that gives us a day back that ordinarily we would have spent cleaning. It's always refreshing to come home after the Maids have been there and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

Listing my place for sale and I have a bad back, so getting to hard to reach places or scrubbing was not going to happen. Merry Maids showed up on time, was thorough with what I asked them to complete. Couple of things that I noticed after that weren't 100% to my standard, but for what I needed it did the job and I'm satisfied.

My house is cleaner than it has ever been. The crew who came were incredibly kind, thorough and very hard working. I highly recommend this service and am so thankful to them!💜

For the most part it is all good. But, every team works a little bit differently. When Christina, and others that I can't remember their names, they always vacuum the couch cushions and dust the blinds but not every team does this. However, I do appreciate the work that everyone does!!

My only issue is they are never on time. They have only been on time once. I am given a two hour window and every other time they were between 30 and 45 minutes beyond that 2 hour window (late) with me having to call them to find out where they were. I have had six visits so far, so not a good track record. They claim it is impossible for them to give me an accurate time, and they'll show up eventually. I'm generally okay with 15 minutes late or 30 min if they call and let me know, but not after having been given a 2 hour window. This is just bad business and rude. Having said that, I have had many housekeepers in the past who start out good and then fall down on the job and also can't seem to get to the job on time. So far they have done an excellent job, and their prices are competitive, so I am keeping them. If being on time doesn't bother you, Merry Maids is an excellent choice for housekeeping.

I have had three cleanings so far and am ready to write my review. Overall the cleaning crew is very nice. I have had a different duo of cleaners each time and was told that I should have the same duo each time but they are having staffing issues. I really wish I did have the same two cleaners each time because it seems the quality of work gets worse with each new pair. They do a good job for the most part, but are not as detailed oriented as I would like and I have had to go behind them every time and point out areas that need cleaning. On the initial "deep clean", I had to ask them to dust the tops of picture frames that had a layer of dust - they only wiped the face. They neglected to wipe door knobs that had gunk on them. They have not cleaned the edge of glass showers very well, leaving gunk there. Today, I noticed the chrome drain in the bathroom sinks still had gunk on them, with a little more attention it came off. I also noticed the area behind the toilets still had hair and dirt. The male cleaner said his square mop wouldn't go back there. This is a problem for me, because I would expect the area would get cleaned with hands if your mop won't fit. He didn't even look behind the bathroom door (nor clean there) to empty the trash bin. The powder room did not get swept/mopped, living room end/coffee tables did not get wiped. But after I pointed all these things out they did. I shouldn't have to point out stuff like this. I am contracted to 10 cleanings or I have to pay $500 for the initial clean instead of the $150, but I have to say that if its going to be like this, I will not continue after I have fulfilled my obligation. I have given feedback to their supervisors and it doesn't seem to improve.
